We booked at airport as we missed our connecting flight. On arrival, friendly staff and the room we had was super. C304 was our room and looked straight out onto the ocean and the sound of waves. Comfy bed, nice and clean and the balcony was a good size and not overlooked. The grounds were nice, pool area tidy and smart. The evening meal and breakfast were very good. I wouldn't hesitate to choose this place again.

The staff and location are excellent. No one can fault the welcome you feel at this hotel. I removed a star on the rooms solely because the hotel could do with a little repaint but that in no way affects how you are treated. From the cleaning lady, shout out to Sharon, who was always so polite and conscientious to Tabby, the bar manager and staff who went the extra mile to ensure you were happy with drinks & food. I was sad to leave it definitely felt like family there.

The beach and pool was a lovely view. The rooms are average. All staff was very pleasant except for one staff at the reception was very rude all times. From the time we check in to every time we needed assistance from front desk, one employee Nyoka was extremely rude. She needs to acknowledge that people are not staying here for free and offer a better service. People travel thousands of miles for a pleasant experience and the way she speaks to people even if itโ€™s telling them hotel policies it can be communicated in a professional not rude way.

I make this short and to the point. Location is good to this area. As a single female traveller tired from the airplane trip this hotel offers zero safety. There are no locks to lock inside front door. Someone just awoke me out of a deep sleep and attempting to open my room door. This hotel has a security guard outside only.

Perfect location, ON the waterfront. This hotel is attached to another (Blue Orchid) that are basically all one hotel (access to both pools, etc.). It is walkable to just about all of the highly rated restaurants, a short walk to groceries, banks, etc., and a short walk to the boardwalk. Taxis are easy to come by for most anything else (or some attractions include a shuttle). There are two room types; we had the larger one which has two sides/areas with french doors between them, plus french doors from each side to a large balcony overlooking the water. One side has a fully outfitted kitchen, dining and living room (sofabed), and the other side has a king size bed area, large tub, standing shower, vanity and small water closet/toilet. The road side of the hotel room is vented to the outdoors, so there is some road noise. The rooms are older; bathroom area is in need of the most updating, and the hot water is unreliable. AC is from one mini split in each side, which your room key keeps on through a slot just inside the room (this way it shuts off while you are away). There is a tv on each side with cable type offerings. The hotel has an airport "shuttle" which is really just scheduling a ride for you that you pay separately for (about $30US during the day or $40 outside of business hours). They do provide beach towels, beach chairs, etc. The restaurant onsite is ok, but not comparable to offerings at restaurants in the area. The value seemed really good overall, hence the stars, considering that we didn't want to spend most of our time in the hotel anyway and it has everything we needed. The staff were really nice and helpful throughout.

A lovely place to book. We came on our honeymoon here , yes the rooms are a bit dated but we have everything we need. We went self catering and have everything here to make out stay enjoyable. The whole room was absolutely fine. The bed was great and comfy. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Maid service everyday fresh towels etc. Towels provided for swimming pool too. Shower worked fine although temp a bit hit and miss but still worked fine. Both swimming pools were clean, plenty of sunloungers. Sea was amazing although quite wavy at times. Staff were kind and helpful. I cant really fault it at all and we enjoyed our honeymoon here thoroughly x

Iโ€™m writing this review of my experience at Coral Mist Beach Hotel when Iโ€™m actually still a guest here. This is unusual but I did not want to risk forgetting to do this after I returned to the UK I chose Barbados after visiting family in Trinidad because everything about Barbados spells authentic customer service. This for me starts with the ease of moving through immigration and customs (individual digital stations) to kind taxi drivers (Wayne, for instance who allowed a quick stop to buy water and fruit) to the welcome and experience at the hotel. Due to a last minute flight booking, I got to the hotel about 6 hours before check in at 3pm not at all expecting my room to be available. Tamsin (Front Desk) was exceptional: she was warm, welcoming and stored my bags while I waited in the restaurant for my lunch reservation. She also took me to Tabby, the restaurant manager (who by prior arrangement with Sheniz) very generously agreed to store my frozen items even though the freezer space was limited. Sheniz also arranged with the manager for a later checkout which I realise was really generous. By the time I returned to the hotel after lunch I was shattered as I had been awake since 3am to catch a 7am flight. You cannot imagine my gratitude when Tamsin told me that she had arranged for my bags and personal belongings to be taken up to my room. To top it all, when I got up to my room, my water and fruit were in the fridge and my frozen items placed in the freezer. This gesture of empathy and kindness spoke volumes of the high level customer care. I was very pleased that my room was large, cool and clean and the King Size bed very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised that the kitchen had a proper sized refrigerator (with ample freezer), stove, toaster, percolator and kettle. The crockery was more than adequate and I appreciated the thoughtfulness of a staff to anticipate all my needs. The biggest draw for me was that all the rooms of the hotel are literally on the beach so you are continually soothed by the loud sound of the surf and have your own balcony overlooking the beautiful aquamarine ocean where you can sit to enjoy the sunrise, sunset and the beautiful ocean. This is now my last night and I would be genuinely sad to leave. All in all, I had a wonderful time and felt really cared for and valued by all the staff mentioned as well as all others that I encountered. Thank you Team Coral Mist. Hope to see you next year and keep up the good work.

It is the location of this hotel that is it's real selling point. Direct access to a stunning, beach with few other users. It is close to other amenities, transport, restaurants, bars, supermarket etc. and easy to get around the area. The hotel is a definite 3*, if you're wanting higher, this is not for you. Apartments and equipment was tired, a little grubby and in need of updating - but as 3* hotels go, it is very good. A special mention to Nyoka, the Assistant Manager who was professional and considerate when resolving issues that we had with the sister hotel and also in resolving extension issues when our BA flight was delayed overnight. Also to Keernan (sorry - that is definitely mispelt) in maintenance in both hotels, he was friendly and efficient in carrying out and repairs required. The real added bonus is that turtles use this beach to lay eggs and we were fortunate enough to see hatchlings whilst we were there. ( the hotel could maybe use other, more permanent bases for parasols as replacing the pole in the sand each day poses a definite risk to buried eggs. Overall, I am happy to recommend this hotel and it's staff.

Great location directly on a good beach, if you like to full sleep to the sound of the ocean defiantly doesn't disappoint. Our ground floor room was large with bathroom, kitchen living room and bedroom with large bed only compliant is decor looking a little tired but otherwise no problems ...

I always enjoy my stay at this hotel! It is clean, tidy and one of the best views of the beach and sea from the balcony. You also have the wonderful sounds of the waves as they crash upon the shore! Stay here, you won't regret it!

This is one of my favorite hotels, reservation staff: Tamsin, Tisha awesome, Tonia in the hotel store, even a beautiful beach wedding that Reggie coordinated. Miss you guys. My home away from home...

Very beautiful place to stay and best view but I didn't like when a staff refused to give my friend a few pack of sugar because she didn't had any # that was very Rude

Lovely hotel in a great location with the beach on your doorstep. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are cleaned regularly with fresh towels each time. There are buses just outside that leave regularly to take you up to Bridgetown. Pebbles and Carlisle beach are beautiful and not too far away.

Where to start? Down to earth hotel with amazing staff! Location is perfect, close to shops, banks, food courts, two amazing beaches (Worthing beach being one of them, which, don't tell anyone "wink wink", even though it's public as all the others, you won't really see another person other than guests from Coral Mist & Blue Orchids, and maybe one or two from the houses around). Housekeeping was great, done daily, even with the dishes being washed if you forgot about them (but please, don't abuse that). The health and safety was absolutely spot on, with EVERYONE adhering to it. We somehow got a free upgrade, which we LOVED, as the room was way bigger than we expected! All rooms have a great view of the beach, and I can honestly say it's quiet. Would definitely return, hopefully soon! I won't upload any photos as the room we stayed in is featured in the already existing pictures here. It's the one with the red wall in the bedroom! A big THANK YOU to all the staff!

It's a great no fuss friendly family run hotel. We had a ground floor room in block A (nearest their pool). Don't worry about the N7 road right outside in the front. This makes it easy to pick up a bus. The N7 links all the sea front attractions. As soon as we closed the door and then the inner door (there's a small galley kitchen with all you'd need) all you can hear are the waves crashing on the beach just 20m from out beach fronted room. It's a bit like living in a beach hut. I loved it. The beach sand slopes fairly smartish into the sea so there's only space for one line of sunbeds. When the beach worshipers go, the place is left to the sand crabs, crickets, bats and great views of the sky at dawn and dusk. There are locally (a stroll away) some prestige restaurants and a live music bar (Mojo) almost opposite. The staff a super friendly and Regie will sort you out with a tour if you want. We opted for a trip on a luxury 62 foot cat (Cat And The Fiddle) day cruise. Wow! I'd come again in a heart beat.

I stayed here for 2 weeks in Nov/Dec with my family and loved it! We were unsure about how we would feel as some of the reviews on here did make me hesitant, but they were so inaccurate (we usually stay at Yellowbird/Southgap). The hotel is great value for money with a beautiful view and lovely beach right downstairs. Every single member of staff was down to earth and friendly, everyday we were greeted with a smile which really brightened up the day (my 2 year old loved saying hello to the receptionists every morning). The hotel is in a great location with supermarkets within walking distance, another public beach 2 mins away and more restaurants than you probably need within walking distance in both directions. Bus stops close by to get pretty much anywhere, although if you love walking you probably wonโ€™t use them too much. I would definitely 100% stay here again if they have availability. Thank you to all the staff for your hospitality :)

Average hotel with a nice beach. We got the apartment and thus had 2 rooms & 2 washrooms. The hotel itself was OK. Nothing too impressive for me. The wifi is horrible. It worked in only 1 room (and that too, in one corner of the room only). At least the rooms were spacious. I've stayed at better hotels. The beach view was nice and I liked the beach, I especially like that it was mostly empty. I also found the pool ok. The pool area offers a great view for sunset. Staff were friendly but we had the slowest breakfast service ever and some days, we had to ask housekeeping for more towels or toilet paper. There is room for a lot of improvement. I stayed a week and got tired of the breakfast options as well as they didn't change. It was the same every day. Not sure it's a place I'd come back to, but at least it was walking distance to some things, such as Worthing Square, and a supermarket.

This has been a real treat. Hassle-free check-in was a great start. The room on the ground floor has its own balcony overlooking the sea, a kitchenette, a tv and AC. It is walking distance from the boardwalk that starts by Accra Hotel. But there is a lovely stretch of beach right in front of the hotel. If you are into napping and reading by the shore, looks like they have beach umbrellas and lounge chairs, assigned specifically to the hotel. It is near to so many eateries, though they do have a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Only down side was we were encouraged to only use cash at the restaurant when we had breakfast.

Coral Mist is our absolute favorite and have stayed here many times over the years! The staff are WONDERFUL! They are so kind abs helpful with anything you need! Reggie helped us arrange golf and Lindsey (not sure I spelled this right) at the restaurant was unbelievably kind and thoughtful! Always such a pleasure speaking and chatting with the staff. Our housekeeper Alyssa was lovely as well! The hotel itself is clean, no frills but more than meets our needs, is located great for the places we enjoy and the sound of the waves as you drift to sleep each night canโ€™t be beat! We hope to be back as often as possible! Tim and Jill Sullivan

Love this spot. Being on Worthing St has excellent walking access to groceries, restaurants, clubs, and don't forget the beach. The Coral Mist rooms all face the water. We prefer apartment living when we're here.

๐Ÿซค I would not call this a hotel but self catering apartments with restaurant onsite when it is open. This is run by separate people to the hotel. Rooms are in need upgrading badly.
