booked
directly
on
Pirate
Inn's
website,
made
the
1-night
deposit
with
the
balance
being
stated
what
balance
is
remaining
to
be
paid
onsite.
On
arrival
of
my
husband
I
was
told
at
the
location,
I
must
pay
an
additional
100.00
as
a
further
deposit
that
will
be
refundable
after
the
stay.
Nothing
in
my
confirmation
email
or
on
their
website
stated
such.
Anyhow,
I
went
ahead
and
made
the
payment
as
it
was
late
night.
On
checkout,
I
ask
the
receptionist
about
the
refundable
payment
and
she
stated
that
it
would
be
released.
3
days
after,
I
sent
an
email
to
ask
about
the
hold
and
was
told
by
email
the
room
was
left
unclean
therefore
the
deposit
will
be
used
to
get
ready
the
room.
I
am
confuse,
housekeeping
is
usually
included,
as
it
is
covid
I
can
see
why
they
would
not
visit
the
room
to
complete
any
cleaning
until
the
guest
check
out
but
why
must
I
pay
for
housekeeping?
I
went
to
the
room
myself
at
checkout
and
look
around
the
room
and
nothing
was
untidy,
damage
or
even
broken.
Only
the
bed
was
unmade,
and
of
course..who
would
make
up
a
bed
with
sheets
that
need
to
be
clean
and
change
for
the
next
room
guest?
I
am
quite
disappointed
and
with
me
staying
there
as
a
local
guest
and
recommended
to
others
I
will
no
longer
ever
stay
there
again
