Location
Great!
Customer
service/satisfaction
Mediocre!
Team
needs
training
on
Diversity
and
Inclusion!
Stayed
at
this
resort
facility
over
the
Labor
Day
weekend.
Pros
–
1)
Location
within
15-
20
minutes
driving
to
city.
Quiet
and
not
too
crowded,
great
to
destress
and
unwind.
Located
in
the
infamous
St.
Lawrence
Gap.
The
facility
and
grounds
presented
a
clean
appearance
except
the
tennis
court
and
beach
tables.
2)
Suite
–
clean
and
comfortable
except
for
the
bath
area
(sink
and
shower)
and
the
water
pressure.
Cons
–
1)
Customer
service
-
From
my
perspective,
leaves
a
lot
to
be
desired
and
we
were
profiled
at
check-in.
They
clearly
are
catering
for
a
specific
demographic
which
we
certainly
didn’t
fit.
(1)
Not
very
helpful
with
dining
recommendations.
On
(3)
separate
occasions
we
asked
for
coconut
water
at
Pure
Ocean
and
were
told,
“We
don’t
have
any,
and
from
the
front
desk,
“you
have
to
get
from
the
vendors
on
the
highway
from
the
airport”.
How
were
we
supposed
to
know
that?
We
were
brushed
aside
as
if
our
request
was
trivial
and
didn’t
warrant
a
second
thought.
Breakfast
on
Sunday
morning
–
went
to
Pure
Ocean
to
have
breakfast
and
was
told
its
buffet
style
and
its
$76.50
per
person.
The
wait
staff
told
us
we
should
have
been
told
by
the
front
desk
at
check
in.
If
we
were
notified
at
check
in
then
we
would
have
found
an
alternate
location
for
breakfast
which
we
did
because
we
cannot
eat
$153.00
plus
tax
for
breakfast.
The
hotel
industry
is
customer
focused,
from
observation
it
was
clear
we
were
profiled
and
placed
in
the
“brown
people”
demographic.
2)
Suite
–
shower
and
sink
were
the
areas
that
I
have
major
issues.
The
caulk
around
the
sink
was
dirty
and
peppered
with
spots
of
mold.
The
faucet
is
installed
so
close
to
the
back
of
the
sink
you
couldn’t
help
the
splashes.
The
shower
same
issue,
the
grout
is
dirty
with
spots
of
mold
and
there
is
rust
around
the
shower
doors.
The
water
fall
shower
extends
less
than
12
inches
from
the
shower
wall,
my
husband
kept
hitting
himself.
The
water
pressure
was
so
low
you
couldn’t
tilt
the
shower
head
to
be
more
comfortable.
Overall
the
water
pressure
was
low
in
all
areas
of
the
suite.
3)
Tennis
court
is
in
a
state
of
disrepair,
the
surface
is
artificial
grass
which
is
dotted
with
holes
and
moss.
4)
Beach
tables
dotted
with
rust
spots.
We
have
stayed
at
different
hotel
brands/chains
in
major
cities
around
the
world
and
have
never
been
treated
with
indifference
and/or
based
on
the
color
of
our
skin
or
accent
and/or
subject
to
profiling.
It
is
clear
these
brands
understand
the
concept
"Your
team
represents
your
brand".
Being
courteous
does
not
equate
to
customer
service
and
satisfaction.
Overall
Caribbean
people
are
courteous
and
friendly
however
there
needs
to
be
a
lot
of
re-training
regarding
customer
service
and
satisfaction
as
it
relates
to
diversity
and
inclusion
at
this
facility.
