This is one the best hotels I've stayed at hands down. The staff was super friendly, we were greet with a warm welcome. Everyone was always smiling. The service was amazing, room was super clean. It's true what they say "come as a guest and leave as a friend". My family and I will be back for sure.

A small and pleasant hotel by the beach. The rooms are clean and with a beautiful view. The rooms were cleaned every day. The kitchenette is fully equipped. However, the greatest value is the people working in the hotel. Smiling and very helpful. I got a lot of valuable tips. They helped to organize a cheap car rental. If I am in Barbados again I will return to this hotel.

Fantastic little hotel in a great position in st Lawrence gap. We had a two bedroom penthouse which is huge, great for families. My parents stayed in a studio and again it was very large and really well appointed. And the views from the balcony were fantastic. The staff on reception were really helpful and very friendly. We will definitely be back!

I was totally pleased with this hotel. The rooms are well out-fitted and clean. The staff are friendly and welcoming. At check-in they explain everything to you including where to find the restaurant and other activities. The inclusive breakfast is great with multiple choices. I really enjoyed my stay there. I will definitely stay there again. I highly recommend this hotel to all.

Great little hotel very close to all kinds of restaurants and bars which is very convenient if you like going out to for dinner and drinks. Beautiful dover beach is an easy 10 minute walk from the hotel. Monique helped us out so much, finding us a car and answering our questions and requests. Amazing service from a small little hotel like you would never get at those massive overpriced resorts. Thank you Monique and everyone at yellow bird for an amazing couple days at the Gap.

Fantastic location and great facilities. Near to lots of nice restaurants and local amenities and a short walk from some nice local gift shops as well. Staff were delightful and very helpful.

We soaked up every second of our honeymoon stay at Yellow Bird. Google has the rating wrong - this is a much better hotel than the google star rating. The staff were extraordinarily friendly, helpful and kind, and the bites at the on site restaurant were pretty great too.

Just finished a five night stay here and it was fabulous! Very friendly staff, especially Monique at reception and the bartender, didn’t catch his name. The hotel is super clean, there is an on-site restaurant serving food all day and a lovely little pool with very comfy sunbeds! Our room was large and had everything we needed, including excellent Wi-Fi a large comfortable bed, air-conditioning and a balcony that overlooked the beach. Would highly recommend if staying in Lawrence gap, just bring earplugs because the surrounding bars and clubs get noisy at night. For a 2 star hotel this is excellent, I really hope it gets upgraded on next inspection because they deserve it!

Great view from the rooom, nice resturant downstairs with a few vegetarian options. The only problem is there are no elevators and when you are traveling with a baby and family it can be hard to go up stairs. Staff and service were all helpful and friendly. We may stay here again when the baby is bigger.

I stayed as a solo female traveler for about 6 days. I felt Very safe traveling to and from Worthing Beach and Dover Beach, as well as traveling to various restaurants in the Gap. The staff were amazing! They were extremely accommodating when I requested to have my room changed. They are also very helpful when I needed to stay for an additional day, by finding me another room within the hotel despite the hotel being sold out. The hotel bartender was wonderful! I would have given five stars; however, the hotel restaurant food is less than average. Additionally, every mode of transportation passes this hotel when they enter The Gap. As amazing as The Gap restaurants and nightlife are the music will keep you up until 130a, which is saddening because you never get to hear the ocean waves as you go to bed at night.

We stayed at the yellow bird for a holiday as it was recommended to us. Everything was fantastic. It is immaculately clean and the staff are great. Would stay here again in a heartbeat

Not only is this in a great location and reasonably priced but they actually care about their guests. I left my brand new bikini here and they mailed it back to me in the U.S.A. at no additional charge! It’s located at the bustling waterfront strip on St. Lawrence Gap.

We chose to book with the Yellow Bird Hotel solely off of the reviews - and it did not disappoint! It was my first time visiting Barbados and a friend recommended the St. Lawrence Gap area. The hotel itself is located right at the beginning of 'de gap' and it faces a pretty beach. The strip is lively with multiple tasty restaurants to choose from but back to the hotel --- the space is welcoming, clean, and cozy. The housekeepers are so kind. Each staff we interacted with were helpful, hospitable, and fun to talk to. When, not if, I visit BIM again - I'd definitely return to the Yellow Bird Hotel. It was a beautiful experience. Also, the pumpkin fritters from the hotel's restaurant is top-tier! Lastly, shoutout to the heart of the hotel, Monique, Michelle, and Princess - they're the best!

Was our introduction to Barbados, drove from the airport to the yellow bird. When we arrived we were surprised by how nice and friendly all the staff were. The rooms were a clean standard room one would expect. The location is what will win you over. Beautiful views of the ocean right on the bar and restaurant district. Food and drinks with dancing are a short walk away at night. Would 100% this book this hotel again in the future. Sol cafe is next door as well. Amazing Mexican food one of the only ones on the island.

I stayed here for one night while waiting for my connecting flight and it was perfect. Very comfortable room that included a fridge and kitchenette, a patio with a Seaview and literally a 30 second walk to the pool, and a restaurant close by, which was attached to the hotel. When I checked in, I had to wait by the bar while they got my room ready, but the staff were attentive. I was given a drink voucher which I used at dinner time to get a rum punch to pair with a Bajan fried flying fish sandwich with fries, which was delicious. As for the room, it was comfortable, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and I felt completely safe. In the cove where the hotel is located, there's plenty bars ans restaurants close by, so music was loud at night, but not intrusive for sleep. I would definitely stay here again.

Heart and soul. How can anyone have anything to say about this hotel other than blissful it as something that money can't buy soul. The staff treat you like a member of the family, polight well presented very knowledgeable always there to help if needed, Sonia the chamber maid made sure your room was spotlessly clean daily new towels and always with a smile. Receptionist always there to book trips and restaurants if needed also smiling and very knowledgeable, the views from your apartment are to die for. Small restaurant on site food well presented, barman wasn't very polite but that's the only negative about this hotel. Went up to the sister hotel south cap hotel which is also beautiful and the management on both hotels are on site if needed. But be warned if you wish to go to any of those hotels book early to save disappointment, as l said earlier this hotel as heart and soul you won't be disappointed A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL AT THE YELLOW BIRD HOTEL BARBADOS SEE YOU SOON. opps must also thank Cheryl Ann xx.

Great hotel, service and even location Sunday through Tuesday. Wednesday through Saturday is a different story as the disco 1/2 a block away "rocks on" until 2AM or so. Earplugs recommended for those nights. Too bad.

I stayed 5 nights in a seaview apartment at Yellow Bird and I had a very pleasant experience of the hotel. The location is superb on St Lawrence Gap, the view, the rooms, swimming pool, the compact nature of the hotel and the friendliness and hospitality of the entire staff especially Alleyne and her team. The rooms were very spacious, with a balcony overlooking the sea and a fully equipped kitchen that has everything to cook n enjoy homemade meals. The only thing I could fault was that the building has no lift so you always have to use the stairs.

Small and cozy. I've been there for mother's day lunch and it was "awesome". Nice hospitality and clean surroundings.

The staff of the Yellow bird is as 10out of 10, from the reception Michelle, Barry and the other lovely girl to the housekeepers. Their kindness, professionalism and empathy go really above and beyond the bar. I have got sunburn on my first day and the found for me fresh aloe Vera leaves. Also the structure is exactly like the picture and spotless. There is always someone cleaning and make sure your experience is amazing. Much better of pricey hotels where was impossible to keep social distancing. Thank you again and hope to see you soon again

Very welcoming greeting upon arrival. I was amazed at home spacious the rooms are and clean clean sooooo clean. I could walk barefoot through the whole hotel no dirt. The pool was nice and inviting and very clean as well. Moving to the restaurant the food was delicious from breakfast to lunch to dinner. Something about the Caesar salad I could not stop eating it it it was so delicious. Dealt with mostly Michelle who helped us a great deal to book different things to do around the country she was very very helpful. Everyone was helpful but I don't remember everyone's name. Love the location we were able to walk to a lot of different things so it was perfect perfect we were up on the 4th floor but I looked at it as getting my exercise in every day didn't mind it at all. This will be my home away from home in Barbados Barbados when I return I'm definitely coming back here it was so hard to leave but unfortunately we had to return home. This place is a must you gotta stay there ,there's nothing negative to say about this place or the people. This will be my home away from for ever,!

I can’t rate the the staff at the Yellow Bird highly enough, they have from room service to Cheryl-Ann, Lisa and the team in the “On the Bay Restaurant”, been so helpful, courteous and friendly throughout my stay. The hotel is very clean with towels changed daily, helpful night staff to ensure your safety.

Friendly service. Nice rooms. We had the 2 bedrooms and both rooms were spacious with their own bathroom. The food was good and the rum punch was outstanding! I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

This place is horrendous. Everything is worn out . Broken . Blocked and the photos of the rooms do not match the run down rooms . Way overpriced as there are soo many better hotels in the area at a much better price . The food was terrible and overpriced . This is an honest review

Loved the breakfast there . It was presented well , however it's prices are standard for tourists meaning steep for locals .

Shhhh.. don’t let them know that we’d spend twice as much staying there…! We love this place and I’m sure it won’t be too long before others start booking this place out way in advance to where it will become impossible.. I hope not, but boy do we love it here and the nicest, clearest beach just lurking around the corner. This is the view from our room!
