Had a lovely stay here, the rooms are cleaned daily along with the pool. It's a nice location close to great beach bars/restaurants. Only down side is the breakfast.

the beach and the ocean are just beautiful and great for swimming. I could stay in it all day! It's the chairs and umbrella I got charged 15 dollars for one chair, early morning and only stay for a couple of hours. It's more if you get two, which there are two attached with an umbrella. They are so close together, I mean really close! But v it is a very nice swim here! I am adding this side note. I have been going everyday. Still my fav for swimming but as of this week, whoever is in charge of cleanup must be on vacation. Drastic change. Beer bottles and glasses on beach, no raking so the water is full of debris and the parking lot full of refuse old masks, empty bottles. Thinking all the cruise ships aren't helping. I hope management takes notice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too amazing to be let go!

honestly it isn't that bad the rooms are nice the only problem i have is the food, when i ordered breakfast it took 1 whole freaking long hour after it wasn't to come. also we weren't given any toothpaste.

Thanks to Rashida that I give this hotel a 4-star. Had not for her, I would have given it a 1 star. Rashida, you are an excellent worker. I hope management of the hotel recognize your value. (Let me know how is your new mom) We were hustle to our room without telling us anything about where to find things at the hotel. We didn't even know where to find the restaurant. The room didn't have everything you should find in a room. Thanks to Rashida when she came in the morning she apologized on behalf of the hotel and made sure we were comfortable. Thanks Rashida! I cannot say I would recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel in February for two weeks. It was okay but nothing great! The front desk people were friendly for the most part but quite often were slow getting around to attending to my needs. The staff at the restaurant where I had breakfast every morning weren't friendly( especially the one girl!). She was very dismissive and not friendly. Sometimes my bed sheets weren't fresh and had stains on them! There are most likely better hotels in that area of Barbados! I don't't think I would recommend this hotel to anybody! But it is okay.

The front desk staff is irresponsive and slow. The roon was booked for me by 1500 hrs. When we arrived there, they said, the room is not ready and we have to wait. Even after 1600 hrs, we not not alloted with the rooms. There's no drinking water in the room and you have to call reception three times before you are served with two 300 ml bottles. Never opt this shabby inn, if you are vacationing in Barbados.

Location is great but the interior was underwhelming. Found hair under the pillow upon arrival, the enamel in the tubs were chipping. Didn't even want to eat their continental breakfast because everything was covered in flies! A bird even showed up and landed in the plate to eat from the cake. The only saving grace for this place is the location and friendly staff.

Very impressive. Very clean and organized. Housekeeping staff very friendly. The reception was courteous and pleasant, special mention to Dale, she was very impressionable. New hospitality arrangement at the diner fantastic improvement. Safety was paramount as you explore the environs which is beautifully maintained. Taxis and buses to town and Oisten easy to access. Rooms are splendid and well kept. Occupants seemed very happy. Beach easy to access as it only 2 minutes walk from hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay

Sunday lunch was good. I ordered the burger, which came with fries. Fries were short in length but crispy and fresh. The burger was flavorful with the caramelized onions. Friend tried the Jamaica Callaloo, white rice, and veg. Callaloo was a bit salty, but otherwise meal was ok. Would try it again!

We just came back from Christmas holidays from Barbados. The hotel has an excellent location between Bridgetown and Oistins. Easy to move with ZR. There is a wonderful beach just in front of the hotel. Hotel itself is clean, with basic rooms and breakfast, as well as a pool that kids enjoyed. We had a wonderful view with the room. Perfect for our family with 2 kids. Felt as a safe place. I also enjoyed morning jogging by the seawalk! Thank you for the best vacation ever!

Amazing location. Just 1min walk away from Rocky beach. Rooms were clean and modern but a lot of mosquitos. I asked the front desk for mosquito repellent sprays, but they didn’t have any. If you’re staying here, definitely prepare some repellents.

On arrival it was a great location and hotel is very clean checking was simple. Some staff very polite and helpful. On our 1st day we sat at the bar area with 8 friends bar suddenly closed at 9pm with no warning, during holiday pool bar is not open between 2 and 5 pm. On some occasions there was no cold beer available. Four of the six days breakfast was atrocious we felt like an inconvenience some days we waited up to an hour for toast, recieved hash browns which were frozen in the middle, service was poor only got slightly better when our rep had a meeting. No hot water in our room on day 2, 3 and 6. The reason given was, the weather, leaking and they turned the water off and forgot to put it back on, day 9 no water at all. Our son called the hotel from the UK and asked to leave a celebratory bottol of champagne in our room but was told 'no'. Every time we asked for beech towels we were told sorry they are still in the dryer. Day before check out we recieved a letter stating we can have a late checkout at a price if we book before 9am on the day, we asked around 8ish and was told sorry not giving extensions to anyone today. If we were not with a group we would have moved elsewhere. If you want speedy service in Barbados forget it.

The one bedroom suite was well organised and everything worked well. All staff were very helpful and kind. We were happy with the overall service.

The staff was friendly, rooms were tidy only thing was the noise on the front road from my room. Would visit again very nice place to stay!!

Ok for a quick stay on business. Had to deal with a bit of road noise at night as it is really close to busy main road. The staff were very helpful. Close to the beach, just cross the street and you are there.

Location is opposite the beach so you get a rather okay view. Was a bit noisy at times when hosting pool parties for kids. Room was very clean although the internet connection throughout my stay was awful. There's no elevator so better be ready for leg day if your room is on the 3rd floor. Staff were friendly.

Very simple and modest but clean and had everything we needed! Is definitely stay here again.

Nice and clean hotel near the beach ( across the street). The breakfast is mostly toast, pastries, fruits and coffee witch was good for me because I usually eat fruits. I would say to put your stuff in the safe at reception. They have a restaurant if you need something. The staff is friendly and helpful. my sister and I went with my parents. My mother is in wheelchair and they offer them a good room. We as kitchenette and it was perfect. The hotel is near other restaurants and market. Great holiday for us.

Nice clean hotel, we upgraded to a pool view room as didn't like the anex. Lovely staff,possibly the best maid we've ever had! In any hotel. Pool surfaces are very slippery when wet,which was not good with 2 kids chasing after each other no music at all! Very quiet at night, the bar and restaurant are just soulless, even Christmas and new year !unlike the cheffett drive through which is running through the hotel, with cars playing serious Basslines! breakfast is mind numbing and poor. Great location as far a beach is concerned, shops and food outlets all around good security at night, very safe complex. Car parking at front, good WiFi all over, no shower room on checking out day , no lift to upper room's real pain with big cases as stairs double back twice. Would stay again if had the same room thanks

My stay was comfortable but the breakfast was not a full continental although it was OK there are other options to choose from on the menu that you will need to pay for also we was having trouble getting beach towels for an entire day overall staff and environment very friendly and helpful

Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location - easy walking distance to shops, beach, markets, restaurants, taxis and buses. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Good bar & restaurant. Lovely pool. Conference facilities. Good views. Not great showers / water pressure depending on which room you're in, but tolerable for all the other good qualities.

Visit to the Blue Horizon hotel on April 30, 2022 where service is a hallmark. In the lobby awaiting the arrival of my brother Mark and his wife Marlene. Coffee ☕ machine acting up and a staff member comes over to me and corrects the problem. Customer service matters. Little things mean a lot. The reception desk was wonderfully warm and the place was clean as a whistle. With Covid19 protocols in place, I was happy to be a 'secret shopper.'

This place works for business visits, staff very friendly treat you like old friends almost very laid back I find just enough to make you comfortable to relax

Rooms are just okay. I had to switch because it was just too noisy (drive through) and the fresh paint smell gave me a headache after 2 nights. Kudos to the service team in helping my find another room

I stayed at this hotel way back in 2001 and it was chic. It is in a great location, right opposite the beach and within walking distance to the few footmalls and restaurants. This time, while the rooms continue to be neat and tidy, the service needs to be improved. The wait time in the mornings for tea or the bread basket which is part of the continental package leaves much to be desired. On the last morning, 2 persons from our group ended up eating what was left by the others on the table due to the wait time..... There was another large delegation staying there that received better attention, but all patrons need to be accommodated. I hope they resolve the teething issues soon as the high season advances.

Very disappointed. Booked through an app, due to the stunning photos. Got a rate of $140ish US for a double room, 2 adults, 1 child. We arrived to learn that while the app recognizes the child, the hotel does not and had to pay $45 US for the 1 night rental of an extra towel..it also looks nothing like the photos. Despite booking a month in advance, they gave us a terrible room behind the office where the big rat traps are. In summary, paid about $300 Canadian for this. The bathroom despite having no lighting in shower area, was large and although the continental breakfast had ants on items, the coffee was great and the restaurant staff friendly.
