A nice place just as the name suggests it's a beach club just next to the Sea. It's a nice place for holiday lovers, the breeze from the sea, the sound of waves, the chirping birds. The buffet is amazing and customer service is very nice from the smiling welcoming reception to the waitresses. The evening music was amazing with the singer belting out very nice songs. Though I stayed for only one night am sure there's so much more I didn't explore but I'll definitely want to come back and enjoy the full package. The only downside I found was the weak wi-fi connectivity.

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for the 2022 Christmas. The rooms were impeccably clean. Food was astonishingly delicious. Views were great. The reason for 3 stars and not 4 was the overall hostility of the staff. Only 1 server (Ashley) was polite. I heard if you're not white you get that type of treatment and sad to say it was true or us.

We just returned from vacation at this hotel after spending 8 nights. Great location, nice, small private beach, small, compact hotel. The food was tasty, not a huge variety but always different and delicious. We looked for a relaxing vacation and that's what we got. Some people complain, but remember this is a 3 star hotel and it's priced accordingly. Big thanks to the hotel manager - Malik for great hospitality!!! Also, thank you Donna/ front desk/ Gail, Samantha and the Veranda restaurant Mgr/ sorry forgot his name/. Also- Shaun at the bar... We definitely will return!!!

Just don’t do it! Where do I start? Walked into the reception and it was a complete shock how dated the place was. Okay I will try it went to the room it was out right creepy. Every piece of furniture looks like it went through multiple hurricanes and paint job. Trying to compose myself well no water in the bathroom. Okay we will wait it out. For $400 a night the rooms come without a wash cloth! Really two towels and a hand towel and no wash cloths! The agent said these are upon request which I have no words. This place is one star at best. Gosh I posted a picture of their idea of a tea cup. No coffee pot. The internet is a sham this is worst than dial up in the 90s Now the entertainment was simply a young lady seating in a chair playing music from her phone all night. I can’t make up this. All inclusive is a joke. The bar has not one premium drink not one. Only one restaurant and you literally have to go out the restaurant to the bar to compliment your food. We came right around Tea time which was just plain out embarrassing! The sandwiches was plain bread with cheese and mustard this thing was mind boggling. The problem with this place is NOT staff. This is just greed by management not investing in their property. The place is worst than a 1 star motel and I will be checking out early. After spending 6 nights there I spent so much buying food! The food was pretty much the same daily. The seating is like a cafeteria where you walk a buffet line with very limited options. It really was just overpriced for what is being offered and I’ve stayed at many all inclusive. Never seen one with 1 restaurant and 1 bar and hours at which there is absolutely nothing available to guests to eat!

We did a 4 nights stay at BBC and enjoyed it thoroughly. The view from room was amazing. Food was good, especially Saturday night. Service was great, the staff accommodated us in many ways . Will definitely recommend.

We've had a great ten day stay at this hotel, we cannot fault the standard of quality and service we received! The staff are so lovely and nothing is any trouble to them! Kind friendly and professional. Rooms are beautiful and cleaned daily, comfortable beds, tea making, coffee provided in room. Barbados is a place of sheer beauty and must be seen. Will most definitely return to this hotel.

The official three star rating is about right. The staff were lovely, food good and rooms comfortable. Really enjoyed the stay. Evening entertainment best when there were live bands. Pool area not too noisy, no aggressive animation squad forcing you to enjoy yourself 😃

Stayed at this hotel 25 years ago, got married here so thought we'd go back as a family as part of our anniversary. Hotel is spotless, always cleaning, freshly painting where they were able to. Right on the beach, the surrounding scenery is as breathtaking as I remembered. If you want your romantic sunsets you won't be disappointed! All staff, from reception, room cleaners, bar, dining room, maintenance, were very friendly, helpful, welcoming. Was a little quiet while we were there, due to pick up with a vengeance in a couple weeks, November, December , January, so we were spoilt, plenty of peace and quiet! There is also plenty of activities to get yourself booked onto , watersports , day trips, obviously rum tasting! Would not hesitate in reccomending this hotel, rooms have everything you need, spacious, plenty of storage, hanging, fridge, iron and ironing board, hair dryer. Rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels left and bottled water. Fantastic air con, which is a must! Can't wait to go back, hopefully for the 30th anniversary if not before ! Barbados Beach Club well done, keep it up!

People make this place an outstanding resort. Sure the rooms and restuarant could do with a freshen up to the decor. However, the service was efficient and friendly in every aspect. The entertainers worked hard and responded to their audience beautifully. Located in Maxwell, it is a mile from Oistins and close to St Lawrence Gap, easy access to party night spots if that is your thing. The local beaches are clean and easy to access. This was my second visit to the resort and I am thoroughly satisfied.

The stay was well worth the cost. Food was better than we expected! Alcoholic drinks could use some work and only 1 out of the 3 bartenders was actually friendly. Staff was friendly most times. The room was a bit dated and lighting in the bathroom could use an upgrade. Pool area was nice, never too crowded and the live DJ played a good mix of music. Unfortunately the beach at the resort had a lot of seaweed but was in close proximity to public transport so we easily made it to other beaches that were AMAZING! Carlisle Bay is a must visit! I would definitely recommend to someone looking for a quick no hassle getaway.

Last day in the worst hotel we have ever been. Stayed in for 7 nights, all inclusive! No.. all inclusive is what we paid for, we got close to nothing. Food choices extremely poor, desserts same, drinks same. In the morning you get every day same thing, eggs scrambled or omelette (made by a very slow “chef” which seemed to swear at the person choosing to have an omelette rather than the tasteless scrambled eggs already cooked seating in a big pot on the bar), extremely dry bacon (overcooked and burned), sausages, a sort of oat with milk ready cooked, 2 types of yogurt and 3-4 types of horrible fruits. Even the fruits they have are tasteless! I wonder why as the local people are selling local fruits extremely tasty and in a huge variety. No cheese, no ham, no tomatoes, no cucumbers, not in the morning, Only lunch and dinner where you will mainly receive chicken and rice and potatoes. Staff wise, I am not sure if they are guilty of anything, as their lack of skills and interest for the job they are doing is unbelievable. No superior is overlooking for the smooth running of the service, it’s just a place without rules where the man is asked first what would like to drink and the women is not asked at all (ok…details…). Only positive thing is the rooms which are clean and the hotel throughout, even if extremely old and in a dare need of a refurb. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful and quiet. The island is beautiful with so many hotel options, unfortunately this is a hotel to avoid as is boring, entertainment is a “dj” which is playing music every evening…so?!… food wise as described above horrendous..

Should be rated higher because you eat by the water...a lovely setting for dining, buffet style so you can select what you want... also this resort is on the beach so you can walk a mile or so . Other highly rated resorts have only their own piece of the shore so you go there to sit. I don't care to sit....I want the exercise and interesting things walking along the beach. Also some highly rated ones have the dining area up by the road...you could be eating in any town somewhere....just lacks the feeling of relating to the beautiful aqua ocean...and watching flying fish, boats, water skiers, etc.!! I love Barbados Beach Club.

As 3☆ hotels go this is ok. Fantastic location, with an amazing beach. Don't expect luxury. Some areas of the hotel need some attention. Some of the staff are really friendly, others didn't want to be there!! Funny how some went overboard with niceness, when they knew it was your last day! Food was ok, nothing special & sometimes more than lukewarm! The beds were great & the rooms were clean. We had a few covid distruptions to staffing, but there were plenty of sanitizers around & temp checks everyday.

A great location and good hotel. The food was good and the conference room was large with a good view of the Caribbean sea. There is also a small room that can be used for smaller meetings but it has some trouble getting wifi signal. Staff seemed friendly and the hotel was in off season. All in all a great venue that I recommend. A solid 4 out of 5.

Couldn't wait to leave a review lol. Definitely our new favorite place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. First vacation as a family of three and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. The food was very delicious. We quickly started looking forward for the next meal lol. Lovely drinks and breathtaking views. Cannot wait to visit again.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at this hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms, balloons and rose petals on the bed as an Anniversary celebration. Spectacular views from the 5th floor. Equipped gym. Tasty food and quite a variety, dessert included. Very helpful and friendly kitchen staff. I enjoyed the entertainment nightly. The Bartenders were very accommodating to my non-alcoholic drink requests. Lovely pool with perfect temperature. Dreamy beachfront! Comfortable swing to de stress and enjoy it all!

My stay at this place was nice. The food selection, pool and beach was very enjoyable. customer service was great. The only downside was that there was no wifi in the rooms, only in the common areas.

Faded glory. This is a 3 star hotel that has been continually patched up for many decades. However, the rooms are big an comfortable. The food and drink is more than acceptable and the service is friendly and good. The location is right on the beach about halfway between St. Lawrence Gap and Oistins. Highly recommended at this price point in Barbados.

Don't believe the reviews of this hotel. We are here now and this place is amazing. The staff are so friendly and can't do enough for you. The food is of a high quality and fresh, great choice and flavoursome. Lots of Caribbean dishes too. Drinks are plenty. Set on a beautiful beach with views to die for. We had a few issues in the room and it was rectified immediately.

Rooms big but need work on them. Staff need to learn we are customers and should show some care to the customers. Pool area very dirty. Beach and food is great.

The rooms were very spacious and clean, they do need some maintenance and decoration updates. Room service every day but they did not give us clean bedding or towles each day. Staff, very mixed. Some staff were friendly and welcoming, room service lady, barman at night, (older gentleman, who previouslyworked at the boatyard) and one of the ladies taking room number at the restaurant (lady with the glasses). I found one member of staff to be very unfriendly and looked me up and down on more than one occasion. The food, very basic and with not many choices for an all inclusive, some days due to allergies and not eating fish there was not much other than Potato's or toast and beans (for breakfast). The alcohol, for an all inclusive there was very limited choices, and unless you have loads of ice to make the drinks cold they are warm, but then the ice waters the drinks down. The sunloungers around the pool area and the beach were either broken or very uncomfortable, the pool doesn't have much shaded areas and lacks enough unberellas for everyone. The beach was beautiful with plenty of unberellas for shade and the guy who looked after the sunloungers and unberellas was very helpful and polite. The actual pool was nice, extremely deep one side and more shallow the other side. Didn't see it being cleaned once. The entertainment was 2 hours each evening of either local singers or karaoke, very hit and miss if the quality was good enough to be classed as entertainment. The hotel had cats and kittens (on the reception roof)and didn't seam bothered that one kitten was clearly poorly and couldn't move, I asked if they could have some water and I was told no, the staff won't give them water but i could, the lady said I can access the roof via the red metal stairs and give them water, I didn't as I don't feel the stairs were safe for me to walk up. Unfortunately I would not stay at this hotel again. The hotel has plenty of potential but needs a lot of work to improve both staff friendliness, attitude, the food and drinks options and the general maintenance of the hotel and grounds.

Discovered this place inadvertently; my flight got cancelled. Staff are exceptionally pleasant, rooms are clean, food was delicious. If I ever actually vacation in Barbados, I’d consider staying here. As in most Caribbean islands, the Wi-Fi is HORRIBLE! This spot is very basic but if you want cheap and cheerful, try it.

Thank you Barbados Beach club for providing my family group and me with accomodation. The following is a thorough breakdown of our experience. Location 8/10 - Fantastic, easy access to everywhere, Oostin, St Lawrnce Gap, hiway and byways Reception desk and Arrival/check in 2/10- Cold welcome to non Europeans, Check in 3pm, we arrived at 1 pm, beverage facilities not available until 3pm, we could purchase. 3pm, rooms were not ready, we we had to ask if we could access the facilities. Undisclosed charge 5/10- towel deposit, $25.00 US . Towels 3/10 - Service 9 am to 5 pm. Towels are worn, discoloured and do not smell clean. Delux Rooms 6/10 - clean and spacious with an ocean view. AC works fantastic. Bed size - poor , for quad occupancy, 2 almost single size beds, felt smaller than a 4 x 6.. only fitted and thin flat sheet on bed. We had to ask for blankets. On 3rd day, we asked for a change of linen, the blankets were taken and not returned and when asked for, we were told that they would see if any were available. Foodmeals 6/10 - Fair, options/variety limited, . No vegetables with breakfast, pork sausages and bacon on same morning, not catering for non pork esters. Beverages- limited, local beer not available, only . Bar staff 6/10 - 2 younger guys, fantastic and pleasant. Older staff unfriendly Dining room staff - Hostess 4/10, 1 extremely pleasant (female, looks mixed) and, others try to be but feels fake. Duggy is extremely social Waitresses 4/10- Service training needed for the majority. Chefs/cooks 4/10- older man and woman, very unpleasant, younger persons were civil. The hotel has fantastic potential but work needs to be done, shut down and do a face lift of the entire facility, infratructure and hardware need major attention. Whilst this is happening, hotel staff need a service skills training bootcamp.

Just back from a week's holiday here and all the reviews saying terrible etc you can forget about. It's a 3* hotel which is clean and although maybe slightly dated but you book a 3* you get a 3* ,, this was now just out of season but still hit 30°every day and with the all inclusive the drinks which were decent were readily available. The food was pretty decent but no choice for kids ( maybe because out of season) but still a decent choice the only downside was that on a Monday and Thursday it's a la cart upstairs in dining room with very little choice and the main restaurant is closed so those 2 nights we had to eat out as we didn't like what they had on the menu. As for the staff they were exceptionally friendly and couldn't be any nicer especially Kiara at the reception she was fantastic at helping us book an excursion** to the management Kiara is awesome and hope she gets the praise she deserves she is an ambassador to your hotel** All in all a fantastic holiday and certainly wouldn't think twice about going back .

Cleanliness is great, covid safety 100%. It could do with updating, but as you only sleep in the room it didn’t bother us. Excellent food and staff friendly and helpful. Bigger variety of drinks would be nice, but would go back.

Had a fantastic Xmas at Barbados Beach club. Lovely food and drinks. Entertainment was good every night Maxwell beach is superb and very warm waters I can't think of a better holiday in all these years of travelling Thankyou to all the wonderful people who work so hard to make it perfect

Only one restaurant which serves buffet style for each meal. Sufficient variety but taste of the food wasn't well seasoned. I learned that all-inclusive means different things in different places. Cocktails served in plastic what I call juices glasses without any fanfare. If you're looking for basic this is the place.

Stayed here for two weeks in February. Good points ideal location very clean rooms staff were very friendly. Food was ok for 3 star always find something to eat. Needs updating and bit more to do in hotel . As it's beach front location sunbeds and umbrellas let this place down all needs replacing. And as for Shaun bar man don't know how you did it. He was left on his own every night to serve collect and wash glasses. This then caused long waits for drinks. These things can easily be changed which would make the hotel better. Got what we paid for and had a lovely holiday with location being easy to go and explore Barbados.

Fabulous. The food, the staff, the room. Paid for 3*. Got 3* hotel and 5* service. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Only thing I would say is if you are someone who wants bars, restaurants and nightlife nearby then maybe look elsewhere. But this is an all inc hotel and we are happy with everything being in one place so it's perfect for us. Would return 100%.

Pleasant place. Food choice is limited due to the size of the hotel and I guess how many guests are booked in. But the food is nice. Music by the pool. Entertainment in the evening time. It's not 5 star so don't expect it to be. Clean rooms. I would go back.

Rooms were clean. Sometimes struggles to get enough towels, but always sorted by the time we needed them. Most staff were friendly and helpful. Ideal beach location but no shops or bars nearby. Buses were very frequent. Near to fish fry and The GAP. About ten minute ride on the bus.

Staff polite & helpful, our rep Kylie was excellent.,the food in the buffet was tasty and different and the meal we had in reef restaurant was well worth it for a change the beach is beautiful and quiet .we booked four trips all of which we enjoyed catermaran, island tour, mount gay &harbour lights(reccomend the steak) rockley beach worth a visit loads of buses & regular we used white no 11s mostly .there's a little sport bar which does local food which looked really nice, but only went in to watch football

It could be a georgous place, unfortunatelly it is place which I suggest not even consider as a hotel. There is very poor quality internet around the hotel. I would say, they have no internet at all. WhatsApp voice call is unable to make, web sites are opening as slow as DIAL UP. Room service is terrible. Several times during a week, I had to call reception to ask why I did not get meal I ordered, another time they just ignored me and did not deliver meal at all. Most of the meals were cold when delivered to hotel room. There is no positives except nice view from room.

Beach hotel had everything & much more than I expected, the staff were so kind & friendly too, as well as helpful the room was spotless & cleaned every day we were there. Food is excellent with such a variety,I'm seriously thinking of going back to this really nice hotel in paradise...2024
