I stayed here during December. It is in the heart of St Lawrence Gap so restaurants, bars and convenience stores are in a short walking distance. On arrival the welcome was warm and the high level of customer service continued through the rest of the stay. My itinerary meant that I spent a week checked out for the weekend and checked back in the following Monday. This meant that I stayed in two different rooms. Staff member Jennifer organised this and ensured that the process was smooth. The communal areas were clean, there are stairs and there lifts to all floors. On site facilities that I used include an outdoor pool, bar, beach, and gym. All was satisfied with all and found that even at peak times they were never crowded. The rooms were clean, spacious, with a TV, air conditioning, comfortable bed, private balcony with chairs and a table, a decent size wardrobe with ironing board and iron and a handy kitchen area. The kitchen area includes full sized sink, microwave, two hobs and pots and cutlery. The bathroom has a shower and was clean and bright. Special thanks to staff Dimitri for his profesionalism, making me feel so welcome and for suggesting and arranging great excursions. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I randomly booked this as an expedia recommended hotel. I was pleasantly surprised . It says it a one star, but I think it's higher. The accommodation was good. If you are looking for a quick getaway, and don't want to spend a fortune, with beautiful person ocean views and great sunset views, then I recommend this hotel. The room also came with a kitchenette which was a pleasant surprise.

I had the Pool deck studio which was a very basic no frills room. The bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel. Only plus was the well equipped kitchenette.

Great hotel with it’s own mini beach to enjoy the ocean 🌊 Would definitely recommend anyone who would like to stay here to go for the better options with the rooms as some guests had issues in the normal wing as their room was too close to the kitchen. We went for the Deluxe room which was pretty much anything we needed and wanted. β˜‘οΈ

If you are looking for a hotel with sea view and location this is a great choice. It's in the middle of the lively part of the Gap but not a problem for late night noise. Several bars and eatery's right outside. The hotel is clean with a small beach and a pool. We were in a room which opened onto the main pool area. It had its own balcony style area which has a table and space for 6 chairs. Room is like a small self contained flat with double bed, shower room and kitchen with full size fridge freezer. Other rooms in the hotel similarly equipped however upper floors have a smaller balcony but all look out over the sea where we would see turtle's daily. A short walk to Dover beach or take a local bus and discover other beaches and your own experience. Talk to the local people and enjoy their company and island. Take trip to Oistins on Friday night and it's a fantastic experience. Oh and don't forget to try rum punch.

We have a fab room on the ground so near to the beach which is wonderful. The room is great and has everithing we need. Has a little kitchen so we can make our own food. The bathroom is good, with large vanity top and lovely shower. The bed is HUGE, we sleep really well. The aircon and ceiling fan keep us lovely and cool. We have an outside area with a table and sun loungers. Theres a pool and a restaurant here and being in the centre of st lawrence gap its really handy for bars, shops and restaurants. We are really enjoying our stay here and I'm sure we will return.

Lovely hotel, but a bit dated now. Breakfast is very good & 2 happy hours are a nice touch. Showers aren't very good & take ages to come warm. No sockets in the bedroom area, there are a couple in the kitchenette part. Check your bill, as we were overcharged $469, the original invoice was in US dollars & the final bill is paid in BB dollars. The reception staff didn’t have a clue how to correct the error, then the supervisor was so rude & she was bordering on being verbally aggressive, presumably because she couldn't explain the different taxes added on clearly. Not impressed with her at all. We have been coming to this hotel for years, except with covid, not sure if I'd return again now.

Rostrevor is a hidden gem. Reasonably price from the rooms to the food. Can't beat living on the beach. Waking up to sea, sand and surf. Happy Hour at noon, oh yeah, finish breakfast under the almond tree and straight into happy hour. Then happy hour again at 5pm. Menu caters to all even vegetarian Oh did I mentioned that hotel is on St Lawrence Gap or should I say party and restaurant Gap. So let me set the scene for you , in your quiet and peaceful room except for crashing waves and ocean view you leave and walk out from the hotel and you're in a multi-atmosphere restaurant, street food and club heaven. My little Chevy Spark was a gas miser for those hight gas prices. Just book the trip already.

Was there on Vacation with my mother for the first time in Barbados, we got the deluxe Ocean View room great value awsome staff the only issue is on the weekends it's right across the street from a club and the music is extremely loud you can not sleep until atleast 2am, and the beds were not comfortable at all, for those reasons l will not be back.

Beautiful location, in the busy area of the gap. At night depending on where u stay in the building could be incredibly loud. Ocean view is definitely worth it and they give full kitchenette which is great. I love that it has beach access. The employees were also very accommodating and kind.

Staff were friendly and the room and environs were always kept clean. Liked the location and my room overlooked the sea. Celebrated our wedding anniversary my room reservation was upgrade (as a VIP member with Expedia) and got a complimentary bottle of wine from the hotel and staff.

Stayed here for our 1st visit at Barbados. There was a slight hiccup with the booking made but was resolved without hesitation. Rostrevor is located in the heart of the lime life. And I do recommend staying here. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are well kept. Will definitely revisit on my next time here.

Lovely hotel situated in Saint Lawrence gap. We are in room 217 and have the perfect ocean view. The room has everything needed ie fridge freezer, cooker, kettle, microwave, toaster. Lovely comfortable queen sized bed and good shower. We are room only but had a burger and fries at pool bar and it was delicious.

HATE THIS PLACE! Completely Ruined a perfectly going trip so far How can I pay for a "Deluxe Ocean View Room" $500 plus and there's a bunch of people sitting RIGHT OUTSIDE our room. Where is our privacy, We came to the Caribbean and booked an ocean view for a purpose but instead we have to keep our curtains closed all the time Beacause THERES NO PRIVACY. Our trip was going so wonderful till this now Our previous hotel was Great ,had to book here due to availability. How can you do this to your customers? ROSTREVOR you have Ruined our vacation And imagine we pay you to ruin our trip for us. I hope your future guests see this and NEVER BOOK HERE!. Change this room view to DELUXE PEOPLE BLOCKING YOUR VIEW AND VIOLATING YOUR PRIVACY

Sad to only give this place 3 stars as it is a great place It is a great hotel for the money Rooms cleaned everyday and staff are really friendly This is where it went sadly wrong for us We had a great room and walked straight out and there was the swimming pool which was great The bathroom didn't have a window it had wooden angled lats and mesh to keep insects out On the other side of this was some sort of store room People would be working in this room sometimes at 4am and it sounded like they were in our bathroom Absolutely ridiculous!! Could hear pans rattling and water running, totally unacceptable to be woken in the early hours whilst on holiday Also the caretaker or cleaner would be outside around the pool sometimes at 6am with a leaf blower!!! again Absolutely ridiculous Maybe the staff here aren't allowed to rest, who knows With just a bit of consideration things could be much better here Would stay here again but definitely not in the rooms backing on to the store room/staff area

Was a little concerned when I booked this place as I thought it might be very busy. However it was a great find. Just enough sun beds as long as people abide by the rules of not putting towels down at the crack of dawn (or before!). Thankfully the staff acted on abusers and removed their towels. All rooms overlook the sea. Staff very helpful. Noise can be a problem from casino opposite but it doesn't bother us. Already booked for this year.

Spent 2 weeks here in Dec the staff are great, especially Verna downstairs in the bar. The room was spacious, very clean with a smart TV. WiFi coverage was good. We had breakfast included and the menu is more restricted than the full paid for menu, but it's varied enough for 2 weeks. I recommend the fish special or an omelette. There is a limited cocktail menu, but the mudslides are really nice. It has a Decent sized pool and a small beach area. Downsides are it's quite noisy at night with several bars across the street. This is compounded by the fact that the windows on the road side of our room had wooden louvres instead of glass, which would have deadend it a bit. That said it's very handy for getting to the local bars as they're right across the street. Great for snorkeling it's shallow for quite a long way out and there are plenty of fish near the rocks and even a few turtles.

Enjoyed the hotel and its amenities. Conveniently located near Dover beach which is wonderful. The hotel has its on small secluded beach and a great pool. Steps away from the nightlife in St Lawrence Gap.

Well run and maintained property with beautifully landscaped gardens and a good sized pool. Private postage stamp sized but delightful beach. Helpful reception, friendly staff, and a good all rounder of a poolside bar. Basically, an oasis of tranquility in a central, lively location. Surrounded by an amazing choice of styles of catering from huts and vans to high end, book only restaurants. Dover Beach to the east and Worthing Beach to the west - absolute heaven.

Effective Customer service from day of arrival and still on leaving was lacking. Room had a lovely sea view hence the extra star.

Friendly staff, good size room/space. Room service was ok. Nice view from the balcony. Not much was working. Dryer was forever broken, iron was not working, could not get any bath towels, we kept getting told to come back. We spend two weeks and the gym never work was out of order. These were some of the things that we were looking forward to doing and it made our Stat miserable- no gym, no dryer to dry our cloths, you have to go to the reception desk to get tokens for the washer. Everything was bare minimal for the price I paid I was better off at another hotel.
