Great location right on the beach. Beautiful grounds, nice furnishings, and fully equipped kitchen with all the utensils you would need. Dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer and everything you need to make it your home away from home. Wonderful accommodating staff. Highly recommend Beach View if you plan to visit Barbados. We are going to book next year before we leave this week. (Room 206) Special thank you to Robin and his team for the great service.

A true gem of place along the west coast. An ideal location for sunsets, shopping, restaurants, beaches and groceries. This place is truly fantastic. We love it as a family. Thank you Beach View Hotel.

Really beautiful and spacious place. Right across the beach. Chef at the sugar apple is really nice. On Christmas Day there was no vegetarian dish on the menu, they made vegetarian pasta and pizza for me. Thanks a lot. Breakfast is nice at the cafe but found it to be a bit more pricey than various other places on the island. Overall really loved the place, highly recommend for people visiting with family. The well equipped kitchen helps a lot. 🙏

Perfect spot for an apartment on the west coast at very good value. Apartment was lovely and had a personal terrace which takes you through a garden to one of the three pools. Really appreciated the welcomed package (wine, coffee, bagels). For those looking for a balance of hotel / apartment it’s great. And a 5 -10 min walk to Payne’s beach.

This hotel is family owned and run. The villas are spacious clean we stayed in the newer side. Infinity pool and small restaurant steps away. The hotel is situated across a road from the beach which has no weed which many of the others did. The owners invited us all to their hill top home for drinks spectacular views. We would stay here again

Great service, big rooms, and opposite the beach. Service was great and really friendly! Pools were great and plenty of parking spaces (would recommend hiring a car). Obviously there are more flash hotels but Beach View is friendly and relaxed. 10mins away from Holetown which is a more lively area but if you dont mind that then i would definitely recommend booking

Strong points: - Great view, you’ll see the sea and sunset from all the rooms - Rooms are wide (living + kitchen+ bedroom); kitchen has all the appliances, you’ll have washing machine and driyer. Well done! - The facility is clean, tidy, professionally managed. They will solve your demands. Well done! So and so: - There is a small public beach across the road (emphasis on small and public, great sunsets, unfortunately the beach is not organized) Watch-outs: - Lot of noise. This is the main drawback. Btw. hotel and beach there is a VERY busy road (cars, buses, trucks), link to B’town. The constant noise is going to follow you everywhere, from beach, to pool or room. We changed rooms, windows are thin, nothing to do about. We had short sleeps. Fair to say, most hotels are on the same busy road, you’ll probably have the same issue. - Uber-expensive meals. 60 to 80 USD for an average breakfast for 2. We had the breakfast in our rooms, like most people. - Annoying AC policy: in order to have AC, you must have all doors closed (outside and inside), plus be inside in that particular room (there are sensors). So if you drink a beer on terrace, no AC working inside. If you stay in the living, bedroom becomes a sauna (all inside doors must be closed). Saves money to management but is annoying for customers. At the end, needs to be judged in Barbados context: most things are over-priced and over-rated. Therefore remains a solid option.

We stayed in Beach View as a family of four, in one of their suites with a view of the ocean from our balcony. It was a truly lovely location - the beach was just over the road, and you can borrow chairs, coolers, umbrellas etc. We went in July so it was quiet. Technically off season it did rain a bit, but honestly it was not for very long and as temps were regularly 28-30 degrees it was both welcome relief and dried off almost immediately. We were room-only so food options were between the onsite restaurant, local eateries and home cooked food from the supermarkets. We did all of those over our 5 nights and the night we stayed in and cooked local fish was lovely - the kitchen is very well stocked. The on site food is lovely too, if a tad pricey compared to the restaurants a few minutes walk away. Beach View has three pools on site and we found they all had their place. We particularly liked the quiet infinity pool by one of the accommodation blocks. We also hired a car relatively cheaply from the onsite car hire place and generally the staff and service there was top notch. Kudos to manager (owner?) Robin, who seemed to never stop working on keeping the place spotless and pleasant for his guests!

Amazing view, quiet nights, I really enjoyed the peace in the darkness after 11pm when everything shut down, this is a great place for an adult reset.

Wildlife spotted: hens, cockrels, lizards, monkeys, small birds. And this was all from our patio. The bar and restaurant are modest, but the quality is brilliant. The Hut serves iced coffee, espressos and little bits for the fridge/cupboard. Rooms are comfy spacious, the bluetooth speaker was a brilliant touch. Gym facilities are great and it's walking distance to local food spots from roadside to luxury beachbars like QP Bistro (insane beachfront views) buses stop right outside. Security 24/7 makes you feel like it's a safe space. Would 100% recommend this place. The staff could not have been better.

A lovely hotel experience during our 2 week stay in Barbados! To begin with, we booked a luxury room for the first part of our stay. The rooms are spacious and more modern in terms of styling. It also afforded us 2.5 bathrooms. The luxury rooms are located by the pool that we frequented the most. We did enjoy this part of the resort, and it felt secluded and more private compared to the classic rooms, which are located in separate buildings. We left Beach View to go to another location only to leave after staying one night. It just did not measure up to Beach View. We bit the bullet and rebooked at Beach View, which was a real splurge financially for us. This time, we booked a classic 2 BR room. This room was located in a building not far from where we were before. The rooms are still spacious, but not as modernized in terms of decor. However, the rooms are very suitable, clean, and well appointed. It looked like the oven, cook top, and dishwasher were brand new. This room was closer to the road and noisier from the traffic that passed by the barrier wall. We ate at their restaurant once for their fish night. It was good, but more costly than we anticipated. The restaurant offers happy hour only twice a week, Wednesday and Friday from 5 to 6. Their rum punch is a good deal and strong at $3.55 USD. However, I do think they should consider offering happy hour daily. It would draw more people on the premises into their restaurant, which seemed rather slow. Additionally, the owners offer a weekly reception at their home, which is right down the road. What a lovely and personal touch to make their guests feel like they are part of the family. They have an open bar and some appetizers that they provide to the guests. Their home is absolutely breathtaking and impressive! The hut is also a fun addition to their property. You can buy various sundries there. It isn't a grocery store by any means, but you can pick up condiments or a coffee. They also make milkshakes, which my children enjoyed on multiple occasions. Beach View offers small beach chairs and umbrellas to take with you if you have a rental car and are able to explore other parts of the island. We utilized these on multiple occasions. Payne's Bay is right across the street. While it is a very small beach, the water is stunning. We would climb down the boulders and snorkel over the reef and rock formations. The beach pic included is of Payne's Bay. If you are looking for an accommodation that isn't a "resort" and has full kitchens to cook on your own, but also feels like a vacation, then this place is for you! We loved Beach View so much that we stayed there on 2 separate occasions over our 2 week stay. DON'T hesitate to book this hotel. It is wonderful!

The apartments villas are super. Owner, family plus all work persons are sooo lovely and helpful. The downfall is that apartments and pools are very close to main road so there is very bad road noise, not very relaxing listening to noise pollution.

This is the second time we stayed at beachview and we love it, the grounds are so beautiful , the pools are never busy, so much seating space, the restaurant on site is very good and staff are very kind and attentive. Also the snack shack has great milkshakes and other snacks. The suites are very clean and well taken care of. Can’t wait to go back🤩 thank you !

Lovely apartments with full facilities and amazing hospitality. Location is good but please wander off from the more expensive Cliffs and QP bistro and sample the shack food as well. De Clay Oven is also a great place to eat. Loved staying at Beach View, good food, great cocktails, lovely rooms, nice pools. But the best part of our stay was the lovely Marissa. The biggest smile and the most helpful lady! Hope to see you again soon 😊 xx

Beach View is a lovely hotel with a wonderful and attentive staff. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by Robin, the hotel manager. He was very welcoming and showed us to our room. He walked us through the details of our room and left us to settle in. We had the 3rd floor, deluxe 2 bedroom, facing the ocean. It overlooked a pool, the QP Bistro and endless view of the Caribbean Sea. Pro tip: after you book online, make sure to call them and ask for a 3rd floor room with an ocean view. I'm not sure if you can see from the 2nd floor but ask for the 3rd floor to guarantee a great view. The staff will try to accommodate, but they can't promise anything. And if you don't ask, you may not get a view like the pictures you see on their website or other booking websites. We also prepaid to get groceries and beverages to be ready in our room when we arrived. It was worth it because we weren't sure what time we were to arrive or what was available during our arrival. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy/spacious. The hotel has a restaurant called Sugar Apple. The food was ok but the service was great. Shout out to Cherise and Hilary and there's one more, her name escapes me...sorry! There are 4 pools available, 3 for adults and 1 kiddie pool. Each pool has its advantages (i.e. quiet and tucked away, less quiet but great view of the ocean, close to the restaurant). Although you're right by the beach, you still have to cross the road (hwy 1). You'll need to keep your head on a swivel, especially if you are with children. The hwy winds and curves so it's hard to see cars coming and going and they go quickly. Best to cross near a bus stop or cross walk. The closest beach near the hotel is just across the street called Paynes Bay. It's a nice little spot (south of the fish shack), north of it isn't very swim-able. If you need snacks or would like to buy beer or wine, theres a shop called The Hut. They do not carry much but it does the job. When we visit Barbados again, we would likely stay at Beach View again.

Just across the road from the beach, the view is absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed staying in the spacious rooms that made us feel very at home. They have a solid array of breakfast items which we enjoyed and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. If you like staying on the quiet, exquisite west coast of Barbados on a budget, this is your place!

The property has well mamicured and mature gardens with tropical trees across from a small sandy beech and the road with multiple 3-floor buildings and 4 nice pools. We stayed in an apartment with bedrooms, kitchen, living room and great sunroom with the most stunning sunsets every night. There is ample parking, spa, and exercise room on the property. Note that the property has 2 entrances.

Beautiful hotel, set in lovely gardens. We had a separate villa which was huge. It all looked like it had recently had a lot of work done. Very well stocked, serviced daily and really peaceful. The beach which is across the road is ok, but we walked 10 minutes up the road to the next one which was gorgeous. Not a problem when you have all day. The staff were lovely and the pools were great too. I didntvuse the other parts, thr gym and spa. My only slight problem was the reception which shut at 6 each evening, which is a little early if you need to get a taxi. Although you can start to walk and flag one down without too much problem

Great hotel, amazing views from our 3 bed apartment, which was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Recommended restaurants, boat trips and sorted car hire for us. We were able to borrow chairs and an umbrella for the beach, and a cool box too. When we come back to Barbados we’ll definitely book Beach View again.
