I am a local and was not at all impressed with this "resort". The bedroom had an ants nest and an outlet that was not placed properly into the wall and sparked when my husband unplugged the iron (which we had to walk to Reception several minutes away from the property to get). We were told by the night watchman that we had to pay $10 for wifi for 24 hours (and only two devices can be used with one wifi voucher) only to be told at check out that the wifi is free so i can only imagine that he pocketed the $20 that I paid him for himself (no I was not refunded). The wifi also did not work in the bedroom. The pool was dirty from the night I got there and was only cleaned three days later shortly before I left. There was no door mat, no bath mat, and uncomfortably flat pillows. When I requested the mats and more pillows from the night watchman, he informed me that I "had to wait until he was finished making his rounds as he did not want to be up and down" so service was poor as he also had a foul attitude. The ceiling fan was horribly dirty and would trigger anyone's allergies. There was no curtain at the bathroom window and a man on a ladder at the apartment next door looked right into my bathroom as I was without clothing. Not only was the TV small and placed far too high for watching it to be comfortable, but the service was not paid and therefore we could not watch TV until the last day of our stay. There was also no remote for the TV so we had to get up to change channels. The only cooking utensil in our room was a spatula and there was no dry rack for the wet dishes and no cloths to wipe surfaces or hold hot cookware. The bed was two single beds pushed together, which moved when we slept. As if that wasn't bad enough, the 'blanket' under the sheets looked like it had been put on the floor while the walls were being painted as there was paint splatter on them. There was one towel in the room and when we requested another, it wasn't the nice white towel that hotels issue, but rather a nasty looking green towel that looked like it was used to clean the floor. All in all, it was a horrible place to stay. What also made my stay awful was the fact that my husband and I had a small private wedding ceremony at the court and that was our honeymoon and the only reason we went there was because our regular apartments of choice had no availability. I do not recommend anyone go there. It is not at all worth the money. Try Regent Apartments for a more comfortable stay as the apartments are much larger with much more helpful staff who ensure you are comfortable and have everything that you need before they leave work and the price is less and well worth it!

Pretty great. In spite is some negative reviews the value for the price is outstanding. Clean grounds, clean room, air in bedroom, clean pool, wi-fi. My only peeve is hidden price for extending wifi beyond 7 days and only 2 devices allowed on an already slow connection, and Barbados room tax levy which should be clearly disclosed upfront. But all in all a great destination in Holetown.

Great price for the location. Loads of birds, lizards and monkeys during the day and singing frogs and fireflies at night. Had a really good time here. On the downside it's a bit run down. On site staff were super friendly and helpful but the owners need to invest in smartening the place up and making sure things work.

Rooms could use a major upgrade. Price doesn't match what you receive Rooms sometimes aren't equipped with every day house tools like a broom. Security is rarely seen and persons just walk on to property constantly However, if you're just looking for anywhere to go for a day or two, it's not an awful choice

It's nice tbf cleaners are very polite and helpful, does need a bit of an update, but didn't spend much time in it clean bed sheets and a nice bathroom, I think that's all you need.

The grounds are not as clean as they could be; but that is also due to the clientele. The internet service is ok, but not the best (it works in certain part of the apartment (the part that is not air conditioned) The shower drain (in my room) was not living up to its name. The location is a bit off the main road and therefore taxi services need to be called to the hotel. The rooms are clean and the air conditioning in the room works (only in the room). The TV only receives 3 channels. The kitchen was equipped with the basics. It is a good hotel for those who are NOT expecting too much. Price / quality ration is about right.

It was only ok because the cleaning wasn't really good but I think is because the tiles are so old that is impossible to have them white so it looks a bit dirty. The living room was really really hot impossible to cold it down with those ventilators on the ceiling but you get air con on the room and it's good. The tv is mini mini and so old that you can't see any channel properly, I know you go to Barbados to enjoy the beaches but you get a tv to use it and at the end of the day you have an apartment because you'll have some meals at home and to get a bit entertaining. The shower was huge and very powerful. We had two sofas a big one in the living room and little one on the balcony, we used our own covers to sit down as we felt a bit.... The location is very quiet and if you don't have a car I imagine is too long to the village (5 min by car)( but walking could be 20 min) because the weather is really got a very very humid.

It's quiet and cosy, definitely great for those who enjoy tranquil atmosphere. It's located in a rainy section of Barbados so do expect rain. Staff is friendly, pleasant and very accommodating.
