This
hotel
stole
my
$160
USD.
I
booked
the
hotel
for
a
night
as
a
space
to
work
when
my
home
was
undergoing
renovations
in
Barbados.
I
was
in
the
hotel
for
a
few
hours
WORKING,
and
then
received
a
note
under
my
door
saying
that
Internet
services
would
not
be
available
for
the
next
half
day.
Something
that
could
have
been
and
should
have
been
told
to
me
at
check
in
especially
since
I
was
staying
only
for
one
night.
I
immediately
went
to
the
front
desk
and
told
them
it
wouldn’t
work
for
me
because
I
booked
as
a
working
space.
The
hotel
refused
to
give
me
back
my
money.
Eventually
after
several
calls
to
the
desk/
supervisor
and
them
refusing
any
kind
of
compensation
or
refund,
eventually
they
told
me
they
would
give
me
a
“deal”
of
$70
for
a
day
pass
since
I
had
been
there
a
few
hours.
I
refused
it
because
I
did
not
take
a
taxi
there
and
to
a
new
hotel
(money
spent)
or
go
there
for
a
day
pass.
If
that
was
the
case
I
would
have
just
gone
to
an
Internet
cafe.
Their
excuse
was
well,
it’s
just
a
one
day
reservation.
Exactly!!!!
It’s
not
like
I
was
there
15
days
and
it
would
have
been
out
one
day
of
the
15.
I
asked
the
front
desk
supervisor
and
attendant
if
they
only
just
found
out
about
the
planned
internet
upgrade,
to
which
they
advised
NO.
Proactive
customer
service
would
have
noted
that
perhaps
since
the
internet
would
be
out
for
the
half
day,
of
a
one
night
reservation,
maybe
the
guest
should
know
that.
But
apparently
this
is
beyond
their
level
of
comprehension.
No
empathy.
No
customer
focus.
My
family
who
lives
on
island,
visits
this
place
regularly
and
after
this
ordeal
they
have
all
advised
they
will
never
be
back.
Never
will
I
ever
visit
this
hotel
again.
Had
to
pay
for
a
second
hotel
after
I
was
only
there
for
a
few
hours.
Thievery
and
horrible
customer
experience.
They
continue
to
refuse
a
refund.
Time
out,
you
will
reap
what
you
sow.
It
is
a
universal
law.
