Always
one
of
our
favourite
spots
for
lunch,
and
given
the
high-end
nature
of
the
hotel
the
food
and
wine
are
excellent
value.
I
had
the
lobster
tacos
yesterday
and
at
54B$
it
was
my
favourite
dish
of
the
holiday
(along
with
Nishi's
lobster
maki)
Also,
a
shout
out
for
the
Executive
Chef
(Andrew)
whom
we
bumped
into
when
coming
off
the
beach,
having
been
soaked
by
a
freak
wave
which
rendered
our
mobile
phones
inoperable.
My
wife
grabbed
him,
thinking
he
was
a
waiter,
and
asked
if
he
could
get
us
some
rice
to
see
if
the
phones
could
be
saved.
I
would
expect
most
Executive
Chefs
to
consider
this
beneath
them
and,
at
best,
to
order
an
underling
to
get
the
rice
for
us,
but
not
this
EC
who
rushed
off
to
the
kitchen
and
returned
with
a
big
bag
of
rice
for
us.
And
we
were
not
residents
at
the
Sandpiper...
Class.

phone.
Sadly,
my
wife
had
to
buy
a
new
one
-
perhaps
her
dead
Samsung
preferred
white
rice,
not
the
good
quality
brown
rice
delivered!
