This hotel and restaurant was an absolute slice of heaven on earth. The staff are friendly, the setting is thoughtful and the entire vibe and experience is one I’d return for again and again. Juliet the massage therapist and meditation instructor is incredible. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and both meals were top in both quality, service and taste. Worth the trip to the east coast!

Loved this place. We went for lunch I had the sliders and my wife had the Bennys. Location was breathtaking with stunning views out over the Atlantic to the east. It had had a nice relaxed vibe. Palm trees all around and a lovely restaurant. All the ingredients are really fresh and they operate a farm to table policy so all the food is grown locally on their own farm! The owners are really friendly. I just wish we had discovered it a bit earlier in our stay.

The location on the Eastern side of the island is good for quiet type vacation. However, there's limited options for food around and renting a car is needed. The room was fine however there's loads of insects/ centipedes in the bathroom which can be gross. No TV in the room so this is a basic room with a bed and kitchen. The restaurant for breakfast is alright, however only limited options available.

Great spot if you enjoy nature and don't like big resorts. Excellent to chill and relax. East coast is not crowded and has empty beaches... Although wavy ones as it's Atlantic side.

Just spent another 5 wonderful nights. We left the South coast and enjoyed a relaxing stay at Eco. You feel the tension leaving your body as you get into the East Coast vibe . The food was amazing as always, bartender has not lost his touch and this visit we used the wood fired sauna after our coastal walks. We also enjoyed a bike up the coast to St Andrew on the complementary E bikes.

My father and I have been coming to Barbados for 12 years together. Every time its been a bit or a grind staying at places that don't feel like home. This place and Miss Ingrid make it feel like home. This spot is in a Very secluded location which gives you a perfect place to relax, and get away from all the noise life may throw at you. Miss Ingrid cares a lot about being kind, prepared, and making sure everything is perfect. The beds are great... Pillows great...TV is perfect...toilets perfect ..big apartment with plenty of space....The kitchen, stove, water pressure, oven, microwave, toaster, washing machine .....ALL PERFECT.. Hot water in the shower and kitchen sink works perfect. The couch is better then the one I have at home. We have over 15 surfboards in our apartment that we brought for the event at soup bowls which is a 15 min drive from the apartment. Which gets done very easily with the WAZE app or google maps. Miss Ingrid is so sweet she had eggs. bacon, bread, papaya, fresh garlic, oranges, just perfect can't ask for a nicer host. My dad owns a restaurant for 25 years and he said he loves this kitchen and hasn't stop cooking us great meals. Wifi is awesome! Also Miss Ingrid is a caring business lady who has lots of resources. I need to rent a car well her sister rents cars and boom we had a great car for a great price sitting at the front door when we arrived. PERFECT HOST....PERFECT PLACE...I WILL BE BACK EVERY YEAR.!.!.!.....OHHHHH I FORGOT Miss Ingrid also made us tea for our stomach ache and such amazing soup for us to eat. Such a great place book it NOW.... THANK YOU MISS INGRID

Lovely rooms, great staff and delicious breakfasts and dinners. The cold water pools are a lovely place to chill out and it is a short walk to stunning Bathsheba beach. We also did the hotel’s free guided walk to Bath Beach which was quite a mission but very interesting and enjoyable with stunning views.

Location on the East side of Barbados, beautiful side of the isalnd. The property is very old. Nothing like the pictures. If it had not been so late at night we would not have stayed. I think if people were honest in the advertising then we would have not been upset. Pillow are awful, no hot water for showers. I think because the staff is so nice people are not objective in their review. No we would not stay there again. It was not the cost.

This place is great if you’re trying to reset and spend alone time with yourself or a significant other. Very serene and peaceful. Bring mosquito repellent! This place located on the country side so if you’re planning on going out a lot the location wouldn’t be best other than that it’s great.

I had the most amazing stay at Eco Lodge! The team were so incredibly attentive and really made the the trip that much more special. The restaurant also serves the most delicious meals. Overall it was a 10/10 stay and I highly recommend!

Wonderful small hotel with really dedicated, friendly staff. They were always checking in on us and making sure our experience was top notch. Also the food at their restaurant is delicious across the board. We tried most items on the menu in our four days and everything was really good. They have two e-bikes that are complimentary for the guests to borrow (have to reserve). One of them was not charged when we used it, but just having bike access allowed us to explore far more up and down the east coast, and even head into some of the more secluded beaches. They also offered lots of complimentary services, such as a guided coastal hike (highly recommend as it was beautiful and fascinating in equal parts), yoga classes, and massage (both donations based). Didn't even mention the sauna and saltwater baths, and very comfortable room with pleasant little touches. Overall a really great home base from which to explore Bathsheba and the rest of the east coast.

This is probably my favourite place I have ever stayed. Completely chilled atmosphere but everything runs so smoothly. Amazing views, friendly staff, beautiful grounds and delicious food and cocktails. The rooms are lovely and have everything you might need. Can't wait to return!

Stayed here for 5 days to celebrate a birthday and also relax after working hard constantly, and it was very relaxing the vibe was just chill, revive, relaxing, peaceful you get what I’m saying it was an amazing vibe!! And the food ( chef kiss) the food every single dish we tried was worth the money, the chef I believe her name was joy! Was amazing in the kitchen dishing out master pieces who would of thought vegan food could be so damn good!! Full 10 stars! The staff was so friendly and helpful! This spot is a hidden gem for sure!

Went there for lunch with my sister. The service was friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed my omelet of the day that was made with 3 eggs, zucchini and green chipotle sauce. So light and flavorful! Try the red pepper bread if they have it! I also loved sampling my sister's french toast with plantains, grilled walnuts and creme! Yum! Make sure to check out the views when you are finished

Gorgeous and calm. The east coast vibe is awesome, the place is a haven, rooms are spacious airy and with views, lots of great touches (hammocks and benches and a sauna and a plunge pool) and super helpful staff. The restaurant - though not cheap - is delicious, and it was a great end to my trip. Heads up the corner rooms closest to the office/restaurant can be a bit loud because of staff, so I'd definitely recommend being on the other side if you can choose.

This was our second time staying at Eco Lifestyle & Lodge. It was terrific. We stayed in the Batts Rock apartment. As vegans, we tend to do a lot of our own cooking when travelling so it was super helpful to have a kitchen. Plus the privacy was also nice, with the view of palm trees and the ocean beyond. As always, the meals at the restaurant were amazing. Plus, lots of vegan options. The staff are also great -- helpful, responsive, professional. And the guided hike with SeaCat was both fun and informative. Highly, highly recommend staying here.

Unfortunately I can only give 5 stars. If there was an option for another 5 I would have given it. I haven’t even finished my stay here, still have 4 days ahead, but I love it here so much I wanted to say something earlier! This place is a dream. Proper disconnect from the busy world. Staff is ridiculously nice and helpful, big shout out to Donna (the reception lady) for just being the BEST. Sea Cat is a treasure of a man and very knowledgable about the island, plants and he was one of the islands first surfers (friends with Kelly Slatter). Then you have Jonathan the driver who is just the friendliest chap. The staff at the restaurant is nothing but incredibly polite and helpful. We felt at home here and were treated like kings. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and peaceful, the garden is well taken care of (by Sea Cat) and the chef is an absolute genius. Overall as I said at the beginning of my review, this has been an unfair one, because there’s not enough stars to review this resort. Thanks you for the most amazing days, and more to come, now I’m off to have some of their amazing rum!!

Where to begin...this place is hands down one of the best resorts I have ever stayed at. It felt like we were living in our own home for our whole stay. Receptionists are responsive & helpful, the cooks/servers are extremely friendly and make the best food we had in Barbados, and the vibe of the resort is extremely relaxing. I have to say though, the best part of our stay was meeting the Gardener, SeaCat. He started off giving us surfing recommendations/surfboard rentals and immediately became our best friend. Every morning we would talk and exchange laughs while he made sure we were fully prepared for our day. He is one of the most friendly and compassionate people I ever have met. Kudos to Eco Lifestyle & Lodge for finding and employing such a great local Barbadian, he made our stay so special. Highly recommend and easily a five star review without even thinking about it. Thanks Eco and we will see you again soon!

We loved staying at ECO so much, highly recommend! The staff is incredibly helpful with anything you need and very welcoming. The food served at the restaurant was amazing and there are plenty of places nearby to check out as well. The location is away from some of the incredibly touristy areas so it’s more of a relaxed vibe which we loved. I would go back again if we ever return to the island!

Only visited the restaurant - Food was excellent. One of the best we’ve had on the island. This place is beautiful, inviting, and has great views too! Can’t wait to go back and actually stay for the night.

I was lucky enough to host my wedding the weekend of May 28th, 2022 at ECO and it was absolutely the most amazing experience I could've imagined! We stayed there from Thursday-Monday, with the wedding on Saturday, so this is a review for anyone interested in hosting an event, or just staying / eating at ECO! First, let's start with the staff. Every single person at ECO was beyond kind and welcoming. We met SeaCat down at the beach foraging for sea parslane, Stacia and Donna held down the fort and assisted us with anything that we needed, everyone working in housekeeping, in the kitchen, etc., were so friendly. I was truly blown away by their kindness. Next, I don't even know how to explain how absolutely delicious the food was. From a simple morning breakfast with the most delicious fresh bread, to a truly gourmet wedding dinner and dessert for 35 people, I don't think I've had anything tastier in my life. Alisha presented us the most amazing flavor profiles in all of our dishes, and I find myself wanting to go back to Barbados ASAP to just eat there again (I mean it). She worked with us to curate a menu that was exactly what we wanted (honestly, we took her lead on most of it), and I kid you not every single bit was just incredible. Let's not forget Simon and his expertise with cocktails - he helped us curate a killer cocktail menu for our wedding and somehow each one was better than the last!! The espresso martini and cucumber gin sour were favorites (but each one was so, so good)! Finally, I booked our stay and wedding date at ECO without seeing the property in person, and when I got there, I was blown away with how gorgeous the property was. Pictures don't do it justice. ECO had an amazing vibe, it felt peaceful and serene. The view from the deck down to the beach was amazing (and the walk down to the beach was gorgeous)! The property was surrounded by palm trees which felt like absolute paradise, and the details in the room were stunning. I'll definitely be back to ECO and highly recommend an event, a bite, or a stay to anyone considering it! THANK YOU ECO!

Beautiful place -- limited and very healthy menu which may not appeal to some kids, but the chef does incredible work with the ingredients. Definitely a nice change from the usual tourist food in Barbados.

I stayed here after my wedding in January and was absolutely blown away. This is a wonderfully quiet and remote part of the island, and the setting for ECO is incredibly beautiful. Rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable, and facilities are excellent. Staff are super accommodating and the restaurant deserves 5 stars in and of itself, with a busy schedule of excursions and activities (yoga, hikes etc) available for guests and non-guests alike. Absolutely everything about ECO Lodge is exemplary - can’t wait to return!

Lovely visit and it was exactly what I needed. The owners have put great care into the maintenance of the boutique hotel but still maintaining its coastal / laid back elements in all the right places. Having the restaurant on site was a mega plus and it's even better when the food was thoroughly enjoyable. The staircase down to Tent Bay was a nice touch along with the dipping pools available. I sadly missed out on Yoga, but I'll be back to try it next time. Staff were on point and pleasant. Loved it!

We have stayed at ECO 4 or 5 times in the past 8 years and enjoy it more each time. The location is amazing - if you are looking to get away from crowds and noise and just enjoy nature, this is the spot. The staff is lovely and accommodating, and the food is fantastic.
