They have a beautifully spa on property and is located to the north of the island close to many of our beaches and if you follow my reviews close to my favorite town Speightstown. There is also a well renowned restaurant steps away The Fish Pot and I’ll write a review on that separately. If you like the north of the island and want to be close to the west coast shopping, this is a great option with a caribbean feel.

This is a 5 star rating for a special resort towards the far north west corner of the island of Barbados. If you’re looking for somewhere without crowds, this is the place to be. Little Good Harbour Hotel is compromised of small, but comfortable, one to two bedroom villas. We stayed in a one bedroom villa which was equipped with a kitchen and lounge downstairs, and a bathroom and bedroom upstairs. The bedroom has a very comfortable double bed, is air conditioned, and is equipped with a TV, safe and plenty of storage. It also has balcony with sea views. The villa is well presented and cleaned daily as you would expect. LGH has an associated restaurant called the FishPot which is well regarded on the island. We spent most evenings there sipping cocktails… mostly their rum punch… and watching the sun set over sea and the hotel’s private beach. Which reminds me, there is a dive school set up on the beach which facilities day and night dives. It’s also the pick up point for Captain Dwayne… singlely the coolest dude on the island… who will take you on cruises around the island and ply you with more rum punch. All in all, we love this place. It is paradise.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at Little Good Harbour! The staff was incredibly kind and friendly. We were served delicious drinks upon arrival in our villa and the fridge was pre-stocked with a few items we had specially requested. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and fresh. We stayed in a villa overlooking the beach, with a little porch area and picnic table, and direct beach access. Every morning, one of the staff raked the breach of debris and set out beach chairs and tables for guests. There was a pontoon bridge that extended out into the water past the breakers, where we could swim and snorkle in the calm swells of the ocean. There were small pockets of coral there and some smaller colorful fish. The staff also arranged all transportation for us, including to various destinations throughout the island and to/from the airport. They handled payment for these trips, so that we could pay one lump sum at the end of the trip and carry less cash on us (although everyone is friendly and Barbados feels quite safe - we had no concerns carrying some Bajan everywhere we went). The other thing is that Little Good Harbour has some relationships with sister hotels elsewhere in Barbados. When we went to Bathsheba, we were able to have drinks and use the pool at a sister hotel nearby while waiting for our taxi, which allowed us to spend the entire day on the Atlantic side of Barbados. I would love to return here!

First off let me say I am an experienced and adventurous traveler, but I left Little Good Harbour half way through my five-night stay because I simply felt unsafe. The windows are slat windows and they do not close (I was told to pull my curtains if I wanted privacy) and the rickety old key they give you to your villa is close to useless. The location is right at the end of the island is very rural and deserted - I like peace and quiet but there is literally no one here. You can eat at the restaurant attached to the hotel or not at all. To get anywhere costs $100 by cab. I do not recommend this destination especially for single travelers.

Stayed for 2 weeks, we went half board for most of the time which was a mistake in hindsight, dinner was in the Fish Pot Restaurant, the menu is limited if you are eating there for any period over say 5 or 6 nights that being said the food is fabulous, service excellent, view amazing and the breakfast choice outstanding. I would definitely recommend a car as the complex is a little remote but for us that was a bonus not a negative. We stayed in a one bedroom villa which was nicely maintained and had quality furniture and good outdoor space, it was serviced every morning to a really high standard. Overall an outstanding experience made extra special by the staff who were simply the best.

I can go on forever on how fabulous our stay has been at LGH. Javon exceeded every request we had. Lamika, the massage therapist is fantastic. We enjoyed the incredible ambiance every evening at The Fish Pot (book in advance). The private beach is very well maintained with new chairs and umbrellas. Very attentive service and beautifully kept gardens. Villa B9 had a beautiful view of the ocean, so try and request if it is possible to book here. The hotel organised a snorkeling trip, it was extremely professional and epic. I cannot recommend LGH enough.

Wonderful hotel and restaurant. We originally booked this hotel because of the Fish Pot restaurant. We were so pleasantly surprised with the beautiful accommodations. The staff was also incredibly kind and helpful, Trevor and Olivia especially. The grounds are well maintained and the rooms had everything we needed.

Didn't go to the hotel, we ate lunch at their restaurant (Fish Pot) - highly recommended.

Went to visit some folks and thought their accommodation looked pretty spiffy, but didn't really examine the place too well. The restaurant looked good and was in a beautiful spot, but without actually dining I can't give much of a review. The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to assist, even though I wasn't a customer. Over all, I was impressed, but my exposure was superficial, so YMMV...

Had a few nights here in March and wish we had stayed longer. Further up the west coast so a lot quiter but lovely beach alongside the Fish Pot. Room was modern and immaculate and small kitchen area which ideal for breakfast in the morning. Two very lovely pools and the staff were so helpful and friendly. A must stay if you like out of the way seld catering. The Fish Pot in my opinion is the best restaurant on the island for atmosphere and good food.

We have had lunch here twice during our stay in Barbados. We loved the food, what we loved: The jumbo prawns which were to die for, the octopus, the catch of the day which both times was perfectly cooked and the steak which I would have felt dubious about as in my experience cows in the heat don't produce good meat.  My friend is big on steak he likes his tomahawk and was very enthusiastic about it. The sticky toffee pudding also got rave reviews. Decor and restoration of the old building was wonderful. I particularly liked the views we had out of the middle room where looking through the square windows the white contrasted beautifully with the  turquoise and blues of sea and sky. The beach chairs umbrellas and outside service was just right. The snorkeling is about average for the Caribbean where little care is taken of the coral. However the floating pier is a great amenity that is provided for getting past the rocks. I really can't think of anything we didn't like except for the online booking system which could do with some improvement.

Can't comment on the hotel but the restaurant, The 🎏 Fish Pot is one of our favourite restaurants on the Island. A little out of the way but definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely amazing hotel and spa set in a beautiful part of Barbados. Extremely welcoming and caring staff. With both a stunning beach and restaurant across the road from the hotel, Little Good Harbour offers all one could ask.

Little Good Harbour is a special place. Understated and unpretentious luxury in a beautiful location with remarkable service. I arrived under the Barbados Welcome Stamp visa and spent my initial quarantine at LGH. I very briefly left only to return and this has been home now for over three months and they’ll likely have to drag me out screaming. The stable internet connectivity supports my remote working and I enjoy walking the three minutes to The Fish Pot restaurant for my morning coffee as well as my sunset cocktail. (I can recommend the perfectly seasoned Tuna Tartare with a glass of Prosecco as the ideal sunset fare). As a quarantine accommodation it could not have been better. I was very well fed thanks to pantry stocking by LGH and even better, by delicious meals provided by private chef Paul. Being able to sit on the terrace with a cold rum punch and gaze at the sea made for a surprisingly comfortable and peaceful quarantine. The management and staff are attentive and mindful of your privacy. When the La Soufrière volcano erupted on St Vincent, we were heavily and continually blanketed by thick ash. It was only because of a tireless yeoman’s effort under the stewardship of LGH’s owner that the property once again was its usual spotless self. The owner, Andrew Warden, is one of the most hands-on business owners I’ve had the pleasure to meet. From seeing him haul dead palm trees away to looking like a head-to-toe ash-covered overworked chimney sweep, he cares about this property and his guests and it shows. I have to touch on the more mundane because it all contributes to the experience for me. There are blackout shades where they need to be should you not want to rise with the sun, though admittedly, because of a great mattress and pillows, I’ve enjoyed many a sunrise from bed rather than the beach. In the months that I’ve been here, I have met families and lone travelers coming to enjoy the hotel, pools, restaurant, rum punch, beautiful turquoise sea, and rum punch. Many of these guests were return visitors who appreciate LGH’s charms. Running a business is difficult enough under the best of circumstances, but toss a pandemic and volcanic eruption into the mix and you’ve got a looming disaster. LGH rose above it all. Thanks to EVERYONE here for welcoming me and allowing me to be one of the happy long term residents. I enjoy visiting other parts of Barbados for days at a time, but it always feels good to come home to the serenity of St. Lucy and Little Good Harbour. I can confidently say, don’t think twice, book it and come visit paradise.

Superb service, amazing staff (Javon and Jeannine are superstars), lively beach and a great restaurant (The Fish Pot) that attracts people from all over. Whatever a great stay. Our room was simply excellent: so comfortable and spacious. We’ll be back!

Love this beautiful hotel! The staff at the hotel, from reception to grounds keepers, to the housekeeping staff were all amazing and so friendly and helpful. The pools are great! Our 3 bedroom unit was spectacular - tons of space, well equipped, felt like being in a full house / home vs a hotel room! Fish Pot restaurant is top drawer, and they always make room for house guests (it’s a very popular restaurant!) Andrew had created a beautiful property, off the beaten track - away from the noisy tourist areas. Speightstown is 2 minutes away, one of the last remaining ‘authentic’ towns in the island. If you want a more authentic stay in Barbados, away from large hotels, crowded beaches… Little Good Harbour is the place to be!! Such great service - thank you; Javon, Trevor, Paula, Arlene and Andrew! You made our stay incredible!
