Little
Good
Harbour
is
a
special
place.
Understated
and
unpretentious
luxury
in
a
beautiful
location
with
remarkable
service.
I
arrived
under
the
Barbados
Welcome
Stamp
visa
and
spent
my
initial
quarantine
at
LGH.
I
very
briefly
left
only
to
return
and
this
has
been
home
now
for
over
three
months
and
they’ll
likely
have
to
drag
me
out
screaming.
The
stable
internet
connectivity
supports
my
remote
working
and
I
enjoy
walking
the
three
minutes
to
The
Fish
Pot
restaurant
for
my
morning
coffee
as
well
as
my
sunset
cocktail.
(I
can
recommend
the
perfectly
seasoned
Tuna
Tartare
with
a
glass
of
Prosecco
as
the
ideal
sunset
fare).
As
a
quarantine
accommodation
it
could
not
have
been
better.
I
was
very
well
fed
thanks
to
pantry
stocking
by
LGH
and
even
better,
by
delicious
meals
provided
by
private
chef
Paul.
Being
able
to
sit
on
the
terrace
with
a
cold
rum
punch
and
gaze
at
the
sea
made
for
a
surprisingly
comfortable
and
peaceful
quarantine.The
management
and
staff
are
attentive
and
mindful
of
your
privacy.
When
the
La
Soufrière
volcano
erupted
on
St
Vincent,
we
were
heavily
and
continually
blanketed
by
thick
ash.
It
was
only
because
of
a
tireless
yeoman’s
effort
under
the
stewardship
of
LGH’s
owner
that
the
property
once
again
was
its
usual
spotless
self.
The
owner,
Andrew
Warden,
is
one
of
the
most
hands-on
business
owners
I’ve
had
the
pleasure
to
meet.
From
seeing
him
haul
dead
palm
trees
away
to
looking
like
a
head-to-toe
ash-covered
overworked
chimney
sweep,
he
cares
about
this
property
and
his
guests
and
it
shows.
I
have
to
touch
on
the
more
mundane
because
it
all
contributes
to
the
experience
for
me.
There
are
blackout
shades
where
they
need
to
be
should
you
not
want
to
rise
with
the
sun,
though
admittedly,
because
of
a
great
mattress
and
pillows,
I’ve
enjoyed
many
a
sunrise
from
bed
rather
than
the
beach.
In
the
months
that
I’ve
been
here,
I
have
met
families
and
lone
travelers
coming
to
enjoy
the
hotel,
pools,
restaurant,
rum
punch,
beautiful
turquoise
sea,
and
rum
punch.
Many
of
these
guests
were
return
visitors
who
appreciate
LGH’s
charms.
Running
a
business
is
difficult
enough
under
the
best
of
circumstances,
but
toss
a
pandemic
and
volcanic
eruption
into
the
mix
and
you’ve
got
a
looming
disaster.
LGH
rose
above
it
all.
Thanks
to
EVERYONE
here
for
welcoming
me
and
allowing
me
to
be
one
of
the
happy
long
term
residents.
I
enjoy
visiting
other
parts
of
Barbados
for
days
at
a
time,
but
it
always
feels
good
to
come
home
to
the
serenity
of
St.
Lucy
and
Little
Good
Harbour.
I
can
confidently
say,
don’t
think
twice,
book
it
and
come
visit
paradise.
