Embassy was great. I used Google maps to get around a bit. If you end up doing that to go to the embassy, choose us embassy Road as opposed to the US embassy because it takes you around back Where you can't enter and it's a 6-10 minute walk to go back around

The experience was terrible to spend lots of money and travel to Barbados only to be asked one question and your documents don’t get open then denied for reason you have in the document that wasn’t examined is terrible. The tall gentleman man didn’t give any time to demonstrate reason for visa request.

The Barbados us embassy is money taking for no business... .I had a very terrible experience with the interview guy his Chinese looking like...he never asked for any of my documents but he said that I wasn't qualified.... That's so not fair...they are just a fraud...taking all your money for nothing.... The very first lady who did my prints was very nice thumbs up to her...but this guy is racist ...I don't advise anyone to get a visa through Barbados..

The individuals who work here, do not care at all for your circumstances. I have applied twice and they do not care at all. My father has stage 4 cancer and i have been yearning to see him.

Barbados embassy is racist. They treat Caribbean people like stray animals. And thats not fair. How can someone pay so much money to travel n pay for a visa and they not look at the person's documents. That's alot of B/S going on in this office.

This embassy is a fraud. They take your money and don't even look at your paperwork then they say you are deny . It's sad that they don't even give people the opportunity, a chance to see their family who are in the military being deployed to fight for America especially when they heading to middle east. Total shame.

They’re racist! They deny you for anything! I guess that’s what happens when you give people a little power; they think they can ill-treat you. This whole embassy needs to be investigated!

Due to covid only the applicant is allowed in the building however the process was quick. Not much else to say about that.

My friend submitted an application and received an appointment date and time. My friend travelled to Barbados with all of his supporting documents I.e. job letter, bank statement and a host of additional documents to support his application and to show his intent to return to his country of residence. He travelled to Barbados and attended his interview and the documents were not even looked at or given any consideration however his application was denied on the grounds that he did not demonstrate that he has ties that would warrant his return from the U.S. This is all bogus, as the documents he travelled with to prove exactly this, were not even looked at or considered. There is no fairness or transparency to this process and at considerable expense to the applicant! If I could give zero stars, I would.

Honestly the first time I went I was very afraid , because of all the things I was told . I went with every document that I was ask to bring . My Interview was great , was treated good, got my 10 years visa. The second time was even better ,had no trouble at all got another 10 years visa . The experience was great , I have no complains. Looking forward to the third time .

I find the embassy very professional and efficient from security to personnel performing interviews. I have visited on many occasions and it has always maintained high levels of professionalism and efficiency. I have seen improvement over the years to serve persons more efficient. And I applaud them. I have been unsuccessful several times trying to attain a VISA, this hasn't clouded my judgement in seeing they are professional and efficient.

My daughter went in last week 3rd of January and got denied, me her and my son plan a parent and adult children cruise that goes barbados to Miami in April which is very much true, and she's and entrepreneur as a farmer with her husband they supplied me also, she has solid ground of returning as everything I have are my 2 kids inherited also if we want we could go legally in the u.s through sponsorship but we love barbados, , I don't know how they work but I think people should be given chances to explain their sel and shows documents here in barbados, in my interview I did had an opportunity to say why I would come back if given a visa, which was very nice of the interviewing officer, my husband is illiterate and I went in he also went for visa because the cruise had required to go Puerto Rico that we went on 3 yrs ago, he never went u.s.a though, he has no interest I wish everyone gets a fair chance to explain their self and shows documents to support, especially if they are nervous or illiterate and can't explain themselves, or given a chance to return with supporting documents. My daughter has invested here they even got loan for farming and couldn't got her status here without an immigration interview and looking to their background but none was looking into because they thought she's lying which is not her or them fault but just she couldn't explain herself properly and says immigrants status because the lady that fill her application told her ROE INDEFINITELY is immigrants status and the lady explain on application she also sells w.s r.t this that which is true but she just say farming but obviously she does have to sell if they plant, I now mainly took off their produce so she didn't know how to explain to avoid confusion and panic, but she will try and, if denied, you could try again just that I think they should be lenient with people that they notice panic, and give better chances to everyone to explain in them own terms. I'm thankful I had I chances both times to explain for myself and my son and husband, I know my daughter could have gotten through if she had met an officer that exercise considerably understanding that people could panic and not saying she lied but ask for supportive documents
