Best beach bar on the island, hands down. Lovely staff, great service, chic environment, beautiful beach! Heaven.

Don’t go here!! It’s overpriced and full of people looking down their nose at you! Walk straight past and go to the Fisherman’s Inn instead! $80 BBD for 4 rum lunches served in plastic glasses!

It's a nice spot. The grounds are very well kept and the mini Portuguese fountain is very cool. The service I'd say is plain OK. When we got here, no one showed us around, ushered us in or discussed the menu. We figured out that you'd have to go to the bar to order drinks. The bartender was engaging. Our drinks were delicious, very well made and well presented. There were a couple mosquitoes bugging us at the table. The music & vibe were both excellent. Overall, it was not bad. Only a couple pointers for improvement.

Very nice setup in Speightstown on the beach. The decor is very cute but it didn’t feel very Barbadian to me - seemed like it would have been more fitting in Palm Beach (especially with the jazz music playing). Drinks were okay, and it looked like they had a decent menu including a vegan option for tacos. I didn’t try them but they sounded good.

Very chic spot to enjoy a drink. Easy access to the beach and comfortable seating encourages group gatherings and long visits. Upscale, but still welcoming to our group that included a 9 month old and 2 yr old. Great take on rum punch. Would recommend to anyone - very instagramable if that’s your thing too!

Not at all welcoming - at least not for locals. When I arrived yesterday, no one smiled, said hello or explained how the service worked. Felt segregated.

Drinks are good. That’s where the positive ends. “Barbados time” doesn’t mean service can be as slow as you want. The people coming to this place are awful. This is not the real Barbados, this is where the rich kids go as their parents have them enough money to get out of the house. Snobby atmosphere.

Best beach club in Barbados! Shame we only found out about it a few days before flying home. If you want great sunset view, dancing away and cool crowd, look nowhere further

Great little cafe by the beach that serves coffee, tea, beers, wine, cocktails, and light lunch fare. You are immersed in chill vibes while relaxing music permeates through the air. There's a patio overlooking the beach, as well as a stairway leading to said beach. Lounge chairs are available by the beach for patrons.

Back to its best. Great to have 111 back on the beach. Love the new layout and the rum punches are just as good. A ‘must place to visit’

Located on the West coast of Barbados, the all white theme of the place makes it stand out with respect to the other bars/clubs around it. There is a nearby parking lot where you can park after business hours. Upon entering the club you have the bar/cash on your right. Heading straight in, it opens up in to various seating arrangement. A set of steps leads right on to the beach, where more seating greets you with a lighting illuminating the are I The evening. The drinks are a little on the pricy side but service is top notch. There is room for a live band (a very good jazz band on the evening I was there. The club definitely attracts trendier crowd.

Little piece of paradise - this place is utterly gorgeous; chic, clean, beachy, stylish and sophisticated. We stumbled across it as we walked from the town but you can access it from the beach. Initially we only ordered drinks, but stayed so long taking in the atmosphere that we then ordered food too. I’ve read a review on here about it not being where the locals eat; it probably isn’t, but a reviewer shouldn’t mark it down on that point. It’s lovely and if we lived here, we would always be here!

We enjoyed a very lovely sunset drink here meeting up with a local friend. Wish we'd found it earlier in our holiday. Very relaxed and clean, friendly owners. Fab dog too! Access to the beach with sunbeds, umbrellas and easy slope into the sea. Would definitely come back.

Great experience. Located on a beautiful beach in Speightstown, 111 is a bistro-beach bar with an elegantly casual vibe. Brilliantly conceived and manicured by owners Beth & Martin and highly recommended by me.

The coolest place in Speightstown (so far...): Beth and Martin are true trend-setters with a perfect sense of taste (try their home rum-punch) and just the right vibe! Check out their backgammon night specials...

Very nice if you’re in Speightstown. I love this place for how it is designed, located and all. Good for daytime, as far as I know no dinner, which is a shame.

  • 5/5 CD P. 5 years ago on Google
Great spot and fills a gap in the market on the island between the pretentious + naff resorts, and the run down beach bars with broken sun beds. You can get service at your bed and the food/drink bill is deducted from the cost of the bed (B$75/bed). Food is tasty and fresh. Rum punch is excellent (not too sweet). Fine to bring kids too.

Ok this is the happening place on Barbados' west coast. There is a deck yoga studio, a restaurant, a bar, beach and sundeck and music..... If you're traveling to Barbados and need a photo op to create envy..... This is the place.

👍 Located in Speightstown. Highly rated by locals. Must eat experience. Great location, ocean front. Not a fancy place but that's just it, not all great food locales are 5 star dining. Buffet style. 😠 The service here is EXTREMELY slow. Do not come if you are in a hurry. We arrived for breakfast at 8:25 am but contrary to what they state on their signage, they actually open at 9 am. They told us that we can wait outside (we were not offered a patio seat although they were free). There was a lin...
