This is one of if not my favourite place in Barbados. There is absolutely nothing to fault in this establishment. From the lovely kind staff that welcome you (Marcie ) and attend to you, the lovely Joy who is the embodiment of her name Joyful in every way..Surfer Cafe oozes ambient atmosphere that borders on chic cool relaxation at all times. Ok so on to the food. Breakfast 10/10 and now lunch 10/10. The name of the Chef is Carl. He is Carlicios. He is Carlington. Please just call him King Carl👑. Don't play with this guy. I beg. If you are a foodie like me and I have sacrificed to have that title (I'm always praying to God for divine liposuction) when you know you know. We had Benny Benny for breakfast and a few days later we have returned for lunch and have just started with fishcakes. And they are perfect. None of that gloggy heavy undercooked doughy rubbish. This is fresh tasty thoroughly flavoured light crispy deliciousness in two or three crispy bites. I could go on but my mains have just arrived. Shrimp wrap and Hubbies Howlie burger. It's all banging I'll post some pics. If you are in Barbados and you like life come here. That's it.

Excellent source of all of your traditional bread needs, from your salt breads, buns, sliced cakes and whole cakes, chicken patties, beef patties and vegetable patties. Polite staff, clean surroundings and adequate parking. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, a number of adjustments have been made, inclusive of restricted access to the building, which usually means lining up outside as the doors are controlled by security to limit persons entering. Once inside, you'll be subjected to your temperature being take and hands sanitised. The aisles are now one way and the cashier line have clearly marked points for your safe social distancing. Do check their social media pages for updated times during the pandemic.

The staff were very polite. And I enjoyed my Jamaican beef patty .

I've been here more than a few times, love the vibe, food, location. But something has to be done service wise. My last few visits I've noticed wait staff is friendly lovely people but not attentive. On one visit after seating me I sat for 15 mins before I had to flag someone down to take my order. Last time this week after getting my food no one bothered to come back to check on me. They past my table back and forth no one checked in. I really like it here, be attentive.

Wonderful food and view a must try. I had the barrel and it was delicious, I also tried the flat bread with a side of fish cakes! We was served by Lisa, the service and food was incredible.

Good food, great service, and a cool surfer vibe. The patio is picturesque but HOT!!! Make sure its cloudy if your gonna sit out there or prepare to bake in the sun!

The view is amazing and the waiters are lovely, but it took our food an hour to be served and it was only okay.

Unfortunately the WORST eggs benedict I've ever seen. Squash ball eggs, 1 teaspoon of split holandaise. Completely under ripe tomatoes. Zero love. Ordered 2 mimosas that never arrived. Zero stars and zero future business from me. Its a shame as the place is really nice and could be awesome!

Absolutely the BEST catch of the day we’ve had anywhere. When getting it blackened, on a cutter, plate or salad (yes we’ve had them all) the spices are amazing. Different than other places we’ve tried. Always very tender. Service is usually great too, but always ‘good’ at the worst

Great food. Was able to get the table that is overlooking the water, beautiful view. The water had some sort of sentiment in it, as I didn't drink it and saw it floating/sitting on the bottom. Friendly staff.

Great selection of traditional, freshly baked breads, cakes and pastries however it's best to visit very early to avoid disappointment. Some favourites like cinnamon rolls sell out quickly due to high demand.

Purity bread is still the best might not be the cheapest but the quality of the bread Is superb. Ham cutters are excellent and satisfying . Check it out for yourself

Great stop for fresh bread. Cakes, pastries not to mention their Bajan ham cutters! You can grab a cup of coffee as well. Breakfast on the go…

Two sweet breads a meat roll and we were happy as clams. Think I could use the sweetbreads for dumbbells. Dense and so good with a cuppa tea

Always a great choice. I travel a few miles from my home to Purity, specially to get my mum’s favourite ‘turnovers’ which she enjoys with a morning cup of tea. My favourite is their ‘Great Pudding’; what more can I say but YUM.

Purity Bakeries is okay you can get your bread, the atmostphere is ok, it has parking. You can even buy tea or coffee if you forgot to get breakfast

The ham cutters are great and the pastries good as well. You need to pay attention to those folks outside the wall that are accosting your patrons.
