Very clean. Well stocked. Would highly recommend. Speedy checkout service. Overall best Massy experience out of the few we’ve visited.

Freshly remodeled and updated. This branch of Massy Stores is a supermarket of international class. Conveniently located in the middle of the west coast tourist belt where the more affluent visitors shop, the product range also caters to the needs of local clientele. Adequate parking is also provided, while there's a fleet of taxis available on location for those who need assistance with transportation.

The store is well presented and has good choices but the customer service is lacking. My experience is that the staff just get on with stacking shelves even when you are waiting patiently to retrieve an item they are in front of, and staff at the till are defensive and annoyed when having to credit an item that wasn’t mine. They don’t appear to be very happy or aware of respect. I am aware of how happy chatty holiday makers can be very annoying when you are just trying to get through your day.

This is the biggest supermarket chain in Barbados but size does not guarantee quality. Massy Stores promise much but constantly under-deliver. This location was completely rebuild and reopened in 2019 but in spite of a modern look and feel, the store is disappointing to anyone seeking the kind of assured quality expected by the more affluent villa owners along the west coast of the island. Instead, the catering is middle market with no consious effort to accommodate a more discerning palate for those desiring gourmet choices. The purchasing strategy seems to ignore that opportunity and instead positions itself for those requiring less sophicated menus. By way of an expanded example, there is no diabetic or sugar free section to help address the section of the island population suffering from diabetes. By extension, there has been no effort made to focus in on specialisation in any of the other related areas throughout this store. Massy would benefit by taking a page from outlets such as Whole Foods in the USA, wherein the management of food retail has been established as an art form at the highest international level. Having said that, you can find a reasonable selection here. Just not the more specialised product lines expected by those looking for a more refined selection. And in that regard, I think they clearly missed the boat. What a shame.

Love shopping here. Great selection available. Customer service is varied based on the department. Quite hilarious. Lots of parking. Prices are fair to expensive. It reflects the location and who choose to shop there.

It have that overseas experience...some new and different to what you're accustom to in Barbados

This review is for the hot food counter only. Massy is great super store and l love shopping there. It's very clean and most of the staff are very courteous. Sadly some of the staff at the hot food court has an attitude. I was also disappointed that after spending $45 dollars for 3 pieces of pork ribs with veg and sweet potato pie. The pork ribs were dry and inedible and had to throw them away. This is the 3rd time I have bought food there that I couldn't eat and the last I will ever buy food there. .

What an absolute rip off. Costs generally are 3 x the UK waitrose price which is way more than Lidl or aldi. Go to popular in Bridgetown. Waitrose are taking advantage of locals and tourists in holetown since there is little competition. I feel an opportunity for an entrepreneur is in holetown.

Easy to find - large car park - some Waitrose products. Local fresh veg cost a lot less than imports, for example lettuce and cucumbers. Good selection of wines, including Waitrose varietals and sometimes wine boxes. Be extra careful to read labels on all American products - they add a lot of salt and sugar. Good frozen food section, and if you have a big shop you can get help bagging and taking to your car - try to be generous with tips to helpers (the lowest paid employees) and wish you luck in avoiding checkout queues !

The supermarket has plenty of different foods and drinks on offer, it’s just a shame the staff on the cake counter are so rude and ignore their customers, perhaps a bit more training is required, I didn’t bother in the end, I wonder how many other people this happens too and don’t say anything, and to finish my shopping experience the girl on the till couldn’t have been less interested in helping us pay using US dollars instead of Bajan Dollars.

Great Store in Holetown for shopping. Not cheap but nothing is cheap in Barbados due to import duty and shipping costs to an island

Always a relaxing shopping atmosphere..great products..great helpful, friendly staff..waiting to be checked out might be long at times but it's manageable...I'm patient by default anyway lol.

It a good place to buy all you need for your home but everything is absolutely expensive. Perhaps this is no a problem of the supermarket but of the country I am not sure about this. But I loved rotis and real bajan food!!

Brilliant supermarket has everything and more. Great choice. The sandwiches that you can have made up at the back of the store were perfect for our picnic. Shopping experience was perfect and would recommend.

I always enjoy shopping at this location for the large variety of breads and baked goods. I especially like the bran raisin n walnut bread. Various items are sold at this location including housewares, pharmaceuticals,small appliances, cosmetics, makeup as well as freshly cooked meals, salads, sandwiches, patties, cupcakes, beverages as well as the other usual supermarket items.

To me, this should be the flagship of all Massy Stores with its posh decor, including its own starbucks. Trinity and Zion did some great in store posing here with the Christmas decor. @trinity.roselol

Nice supermarket, however your Deli Food service needs additional attention. There is no way that your store opens at 8.a.m and there is an extremely long queue waiting at 8:15 a.m. for breakfast items to come out one by one. Most dishes aren't even ready. As if that wasn't bad enough, the servers are extremely slow as they have to pack the food and then weigh it out to apply the cost. Dreadful morning experiences there.

Big grocery store with everything you need. There is a booth of local Flow mobile operator which can top up your sim for when you need it. I definitively needed it!

Probably my favorite Massy Barbados. Reminds me of most NYC grocery stores. Practically has all the staples. Coffee shop out front and one of my favorite painters painting by the window!!

Amazing selection of products. Clean spacious shopping. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Starbucks in the store was a nice treat. Just remember, respect the locals and dress to shop not for the beach.

Poor quality fruits and vegetables with a very basic range of products available. The prices are extortionate. It’s cheaper to eat out all be it everything is fried and cooked with sugar so there is no escape…

What a beautiful place with top quality gifts and the shops are amazing to look at. The shops staff are very friendly and helpful with great sense of humour. A must visit

The major Supermarket chain on island. With outlets in Warrens, Oistins and here in Holetown. Along with ample parking a Starbucks and a recycling center out back, you can get a wide range of English and North American food brands. Local food is also available. The store is very popular with visitors.

Top quality and all things you need in fresh and delicious versions. Big parking lot, inside is a Starbucks and 2 cash machines as well

Fresh produce and high quality, varied products in a relaxing setting. Prices are slightly higher than Popular or Cherish but the guranteed quality and peaceful shopping is worth it. Lots of parking. There's an ATM, coffee shop and local vendors right on the premises.

loads of waitrose goods and your branded UK stuff for the rich English who live there. nice, clean and pleasant place to shop although not the place for your average bajan.

Very clean and neatly organized. Lots of fresh produce and a variety to choose from. You can even grab a quick bite at the deli or get a full meal for breakfast or lunch.

Has everything you need, although salad leaves were spars and ended up not getting any. They sell a lot of waitrose items but be prepared when you get to the till Its very costly!!! Staff friendly and helpful.

I LOVE Massy at this plaza & highly recommend when in Barbados. Very big selection of products & produce. Basically your go to for shopping and the people are very friendly & helpful. They also have a great selection of Vegan cheeses & Org Tofu.

This supermarket and all of its sister stores offers a wide variety of just about everything including pharmacy outlets, in-store deli, local produce, lovely laid out liquor section and yes, even flip-flops!! If you dont see what you are looking for, just ask. Recently, I noticed a small error on one of their price tags, they were notified and someone immediately took care of it. That's great service.

Clean and well stocked I think this is one of the nicest Massys on Barbados. The staff are helpful as well. Only critique would be on the ice cream area. Much of the ice cream had condensed and gathered lots of ice crystals inside it. Small thing I know but seems fixable as all of it had the same problem.

Pleasant atmosphere to shop at and friendly staff . Enjoy my shopping.
