Disappointing as many of the meals we saw others eating looked great! Service was friendly but poor quality. Had to ask for drinks menu.. had to get up and go inside to ask waitress for drinks, food came before drinks. Mains was mandarin chicken salad, chicken was thin and hard, sent it back. Pad Thai had ingredients missing, sent it back. The prawn tempura was fine but not really tempura as batter was thick. We didn’t have the main we just paid and left. Thanks for the smiling service and iced cold rose wine and beer but that was about it had going for it!!

Staff was relatively friendly but not attentive. The ambiance is nice, close, good for going out with friends more so than one-on-one or intimate dates. This may sound strange but the dishes seemed too large for the food… it made it appear as though there wasn't enough food but the food does taste excellent. I appreciate the fact that they give you both chopsticks and a fork for meals and you can customise your orders relatively easily. Overall not a bad place to have a group of friends but the cost is up there with restaurants of higher standard.

Located in the premium mall on the west coast of the island. One if my favorite spots to eat. The quality of the food is excellent and good portion sizes. Love the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff

This is a staple visit for us as we love noodles and teppanyaki...we walked in as August is quiet in Barbados but all tables were full when we left. Excellent food, flavours and hot when served ( a novelty in some restaurants in Barbados!)

The food is very inconsistent. One day it’s decent, the next day, it’s inedible (usually from too much salt). The prices are very high for what you get, but people still come here because it’s the only Thai/Vietnamese spot in the Barbados west coast. Management takes advantage of this because they know there’s nowhere else to go. So despite numerous complaints, not much is being done about consistency of the food. I would say, spend your hard-earned money elsewhere.

The Tempura is a must! The food was amazing! Bajans prepare better Japanese food than any American-Japanese spot I’ve been too!

Had both a dine in and a takeaway there. Great rice and decent portion size. The dishes are inconsistent though, some are a bit bland, whilst some are very tasty.

I was unimpressed with the service and the food. My friend 's choose were hard and regular and the veggies in my dish were too chunky for my liking. Her two tiny chops cost$86. Ridiculous. I would not eat there again.

The atmosphere is easy, casual not fussy. Service was quite good our servers were attentive and polite the appetizers and mains came out in a timely manner and were quite tasty I tried the pork tenderloin with noodles and my husband did curried seafood with jasmine rice verrrry tasty both were indeed! my only criticism is for those prices and seeing that u basically sit outside with a nice canvas covering I would have expected heavier portions especially for the appetizers hope they note this (would have given the fourth star if they were) but all in all I would eat there again

Made a 7pm reservations, got there 6:58pm. The waitress showed us our table from a distance. After being there for 20 minutes (7:20pm) we got no service, no menu not even a glass of water. Plus , something that they were cooking smelt like leftovers from last year's Christmas. We left .........straight

Service was good, very friendly staff. Food was good, but a bit 1 dimensional, if you are a big fan of Thai. Fresh rolls should definitely have sauce on the side, the sweet chili sauce is WAY too sweet.

I visited for my sister's birthday dinner. I love Asian food so deciding what I wanted was difficult. I thoroughly enjoyed what chose as well as the desert. The ambience was relaxing and the waitress was very pleasant.

Didn't really enjoy my meal..i had the chicken yaki ramen which I found quite bland. My mom had the phad king which she really enjoyed and I thought was really good too. Ok service.

Food here was delicious. Had it a few times. They went out of their way to help take my order through WhatsApp and then deliver it to me. Some below complain that it's expensive but the reality is that food in Barbados is generally expensive and this is one of the cheaper places by comparison.

I was looking forward to my take out lunch from Lemongrass today. I have had good experiences dining in-house before. I ordered the Cashew chicken which came with an assortment of vegetables and cashews in their signature sauce. When I opened the container holding the cashew chicken at first all I saw was sauce. On pouring out the contents, the assortment of vegetables consisted mainly of two large pieces of pumpkin and two large pieces of carrot with a few (as in 3) small pieces of sweet pepper and onion. Not a green vegetable in sight. This was accompanied with 6 cashews and probably 8 bite sized pieces of chicken. I could not even say the quality of the food compensated for the quantity. I ended up leaving half their signature sauce behind there was so much it and probably out of a bottle. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. It will probably be a long time before I choose Lemongrass again and definitely not for takeout.

This is a great Thai restaurant, the food is excellent. It is inside the limegrove shopping centre but very nice next to the fountains. Definitely give this a try.

Visited on 16th Dec. Calamari was good. Service was good. We had jasmin rice with beef and shrimp on side because we were sharing... food lack flavor. Biggest turn off was the cucumber in our plate which still had mud/dirt on the skin.

Great food, but shockingly bad bad service and extremely rude waitresses. Restaurant is let down by its staff, the Manager had to intervene, no apology or acknowledgement from the waitresses for their poor service. Restaurant appears to be prioritising takeout over eat in diners, which is not good. Service Charge % not mentioned on menu, but came out at 15% on bill, more than we have paid anywhere else. We enjoyed the food, but our relatives sat on adjacent table had to walk out after 1.45hrs of no food, after we had received our starters, main courses and finished, their's was nowhere to be seen. Waitress lied and said they ordered way after us when they actually ordered before us. The Manager gave their food FOC as takeout. We requested the service charge be removed but waitress said that was not possible...... Manager then removed from bill, server became passive aggressive towards us and suggested we "ensure you get home safely" "watch how you go". The Chef had to put his finger to his mouth to gesture to her to keep her mouth shut. Terrible behaviour, such a shame as food delightful. Staff need training on how to treat customers with respect. Would not return.

Everything about here is great. The food, the service, the ambience I loved it. Too much choice dilemma I have to go back.

  • 1/5 Janine C. 10 months ago on Google
Very poor quality and value, nothing to do with the staff, it's all up to the owner what kind of value he/she wants to provide. That was the main course. We also bought the chicken skewer appetizer, it was 10USD for two, they were the tiniest I have ever seen in my life, wouldn't be enough for a 5 year old, absolute rip off. We have a home here and will never order again, neither will our guests. Really really poor value.

Service was average. Portions were substantial, food was tasty and came within 15 minutes of ordering. Would recommend to anybody looking for something delicious that wouldn't totally break your pockets.

Food is just ok for me but my 15 year old daughter likes it a lot. But good enough that I'd go occasionally as I find the atmosphere relaxing and energetic at the same time lol. Service was neither here nor there.

Our 1st time at Lemongrass didn’t disappoint. Service from Ms. Waple was outstanding! She first brought out a huge bottle of ice water which thrilled me as I drink a ton of water especially in the tropics. We both had the green curry with Mahi and it was divine! Gelato from next door (Ice Lab) was also outstanding! Atmosphere is a 4 instead of 5 b/c it’s inside a mall and therefore smaller, less fancy….

We hadn't booked a table, and as we arrived we were immediately approached by a server and shown to a table; the restaurant was probably 50% full. We were offered iced water and given menus. The server came back fairly quickly and took our orders - we had beef thai red curry and Num man hoy (beef in oyster sauce). We were asked how we'd like the beef in our dishes, and both said rare. We ordered some drinks too. The food came after about 10 minutes, and both looked gorgeous! They were both delicious too, the beef was beautifully tender. I've given 4 stars for the ambiance, purely because the restaurant is open in a shopping mall, although next to lovely water features. Prices are very competitive and the overall experience is great value.

Normally excellent, this is one of my go-to places for food as a vegan with its edamame, Vietnamese fresh summer roll and selection of curries and Thai dishes, most of which can be veganized by leaving out the egg or changing from oyster sauce to soy. However, I had a late take-away lunch which turned out to be a super-salty Pad Thai on my last visit and wondered if somebody who doan like de chef sabotage de food. Call in de detectives!

It’s a pleasant lunch atmosphere inside the little mall. Thanks to Natasha because she was an awesome server who was friendly and greeted with a smile both times I visited! (& to me customer service is just as important as the quality of the food) The food was tasty, however they were out of scallops both times, the food was served 10-15m after ordering so I’m pleased with this experience. I look forward to eating here again.

The food was very good! Had Pad Thai and Spring rolls…both excellent! However, I have never received worse service anywhere!!! Horrible is the only word to describe it! And the bill was wrong! Overcharged on drinks and the bill was corrected after it was brought to their attention! Will never return!

Absolutely top notch food and service! Hands down best salads on the island grown fresh by the restaurant owners at their farm. The entrees are reasonable, delectable, and the presentation is fantastic! Highly recommended anytime you are near Limegrove.

Great food ordered the Pad hee mow Loved the spicy taste of it The chicken pieces where a bit to big for my liking I think smaller chunks would be much better especially when eating with chopsticks The seating area is really nicely decorated and setup The smell of the citronella candles might effect some But if you don’t want mosquitos you have to have them Calamari was ok nothing great and tempura prawn portion was really small The service was good and waiters where all very helpful with figuring out the dishes Chicken is supplied by Amir’s Halal Chicken But be sure to ask to make sure

Decent Thai food in an open air food court setting at a nice mall. Expensive for what it is but that’s just par for the course in Barbados...

A nice lunchtime stop, good food and the owner is usually on hand to oversee the service. Situated right in Limegrove, so good location for high-end shopping. I do recommend it as an unpretentious but good value address in the most expensive part of town.

I have enjoyed most stores within limegrove except for lemongrass due to the employees are very bias of whom they allowed to order food even tho they stated the kitchen is closed but food was being served to others.

Cozy semi-outdoor seating, friendly and helpful service, food was of a good standard, would certainly recommend the Prawn Tempura and Bai Grapow. Yaki Ramen was fairly average (no "wok hei" smokeyness and simply covered in a sweet sauce).

What a mall. Very upscale with a water fall in the center. Great shopping and dining. On the lighter side you can get coffee and a snack at the great coffee places there. Also very popular for high tea.

Solid middle of the road. Decent-not exceptional. They take A. VERY. LONG. TIME to pull your order together and don’t judge well regarding how long it takes. When waiting “25 min” for takeout or in line for a table, plan on 1hr+
