May just be the best beach to visit with visiting Barbados. Would definitely recommend the visit. Recommend the red shop across the road for great tasting local food. Here you will find it all , the beautiful Caribbean Sea and many amenities for you to choose from . Swim, snorkel, Jetski, paddle Board it's all here and what a lovely beach for a walk. Very safe

WOW effect!! expecially if you love free diving and snorkeling... There are 3 different shipwrecks less than 100m from the beach. You can easily find them looking where are all the people from organized tours. If you are able to take deep breath, take it and enjoy the inside of shipwreck!! there're a lot of in&out passages

Like swimming in a bath. Clear water, sandy beach, tourists and locals chilling. What could be nicer. Lots of fish so bring a snorkel and goggles.

Diving around the wrecks is interesting and youโ€™ll see plenty of tropical fish, possibly a turtle or two and a few rays. Warn water, good visibility on calm days.

This is the best beach in Barbados, the water is crystal clear and there's plenty of activity. One of my favorite stop offs when I'm on my Ebike

Amazing and magical place. There is shower and changing room, also nice and bubly entry with nice music and welcome drink if you are booked for some occasion. The guys with the ship wreck glass bottom boat are awsome.

Nice beach. Lots of activities to engage in. I wanted to get on a boat ride but i unfortunately couldnโ€™t due to time and some other factors. You get too see local around you can have chats with and ask for directions. Water is crystal clear too!

Probably one of the best beach places to be on Barbados. Not to crowded in the middle. There you should also go. Don't go on right or left side. Beach lounger incl an umbrella was 15$. So fair pricing. Do not pay 5$ for one coconut but say you want two. Guys might walk away but will come back. 5$ is way to much and they know it๐Ÿ™‚

We had not any booked turtle snorkeling tour online and though of booking it at the beach. What we went on was not a turtle snorkeling tour for sure. First of all, we paid 35$ USD per person for the tour when some people had paid as low as 18$, needless to say we got ripped off. Second of all, the music was so damn loud for the entire hour that it was enough to scare all the turtles away from the area. While other companies take you to feed the turtles in the ocean, we were told to go join some other group cuz the guide thought that the turtles might be there. We spotted only a single turtle on the entire tour, that too because another passenger pointed it out. The glass bottomed boat is another scam , the glass bottom is only a feet length and the rest of it is regular boat. My advice is book your turtle snorkeling tour online from a company which has good reviews for a couple more dollars, instead of getting scammed at Carlisle Bay. Apart from that, it's a beautiful beach for sure.

Beautiful white sand bay with crystal clear calm water which was perfect for the kids to swim and snorkel. We were approached by one of the beach vendors who was keen for us to go on his boat to see the turtles and ship wreck, he was friendly and not pushy about it, so we went and had a fabulous time - saw three turtles and snorkelling over the wrecks was amazing - so many beautiful fish, and the wrecks are so shallow you can see so much. They provided the snorkels. Most places along the beach if you pay for a sun lounger will also have wifi available which was also helpful for us.

Iโ€™d rate this 5 star if there werenโ€™t so many boats. Beautiful calm bay with clear turquoise water and safe to swim out. Snorkelled around 50 meters out from the white sandy beach and saw sting ray, lots of turtles, bat fish, star fish an octopus and lots of bright coloured fish. Snorkel trip I did to the shipwreck was nice but far too many people in one place that it didnโ€™t feel safe so we opted to spend a day snorkelling on our own after that.

Magical places to see the horses. I got there for 6:30AM so would recommend that time, if not earlier. Heads up, a bit of a crowd still at that time.

Went out into the bay on a snorkeling trip. Some great sights in the clear water, including some turtle sightings over some of the ship wrecks which were themselves an interesting sight. Would have loved to spend more time here.

An absolutely beautiful beach to relax and enjoy for a day. There is also a great little rum shop across the street with great rotis.
