Beautiful. Some busy spots and some more peaceful spots. Great for going for a swim or just laying under a tree. Great restaurants on site as well.

Be sure to talk to Charles for all your beach chairs and rental needs, he’s a great fellow located right off the beach near the parking lot. Like much of the Caribbean, the off season sees incoming seaweed that isn’t dangerous but does obscure the water - but during peak season, this isn’t an issue.

Gorgeous beach! My first time to Barbados and it was absolutely beautiful. Water is clean and sand was pinkish. Look forward to travel other beaches in Barbados!

Nice beach with near restaurants. Also really great that you can do auqatic activities (kayak, paddle, surf, snorkeling, etc.) for a really good price at Charles Watersports! Had a great time. I hate to Daddy's and it was really good. Cheaper than the places around.

Beautiful beach - often baby turtles erupt out of the nests here in the evening. The beach is not often busy a hidden gem if you like. It is clean as in very little rubbish found. Locals are friendly. Sun beds belong to the establishments. Palm trees for shade. In the evening you might be lucky and see the fire flies in them. We were lucky enough whilst swimming to have a school of turtles grazing

Absolutely gorgeous. I was there New Year's Day for a swim. Watch for Sea Turtles while you're there. I thought I saw a moving rock/shadow behind me, but then it came up for a breath and turned out to be a turtle. Outstanding!

So many turtles! The beach is not too big, but when we went there in the morning/noon it was never crowded. There are sooo many turtles! You can see them just be standing on the beach and looking for turtles in the raising waves or their head poking out of the water, it was really cool to see it! It’s likely the waves might be too big for swimming but then they are good for water sports like surfing - you can rent a board there.

Beautiful white sand beach which is also pretty quiet compared to somewhere like Carlisle bay. There are sunbeds available and a few cafe options on the beach. Great spot for beginner surfing, or if you fancy snorkelling you can see the turtles quite easily here in the shallows.

This beach is beautiful. Waves are nice some days then calm as the west coast on others. On a calm day it is better than some of the west coast beaches as it’s not swarmed with boats. Slight under current at times but still good for snorkelling on the reef at one end then the other end it was choppy but you can see turtles surfing the waves and floating around. Lovely small establishments set a little back from the beach. I would have rated 5 star but there are too many beach bums that need to stop trying to rip tourists off and stop trying to push drugs on us and get s real job- this annoys the locals who are working hard earning an honest living.

Beautiful white sand. Some days the waves can be surfed and others it's calm. Great for walks.

Stunning beach in Southern Barbados where you can swim with turtles! Some parts are very rocky under water so you might benefit from water shoes. The sea temperature is perfect but on windy days the waves can be quite strong and more for surfers than swimmers!

Charles' (himself) watersports was super amazing assisting me with my snorkelling gear for a great price of only $10US unlimited time. Johnny's restaurant was great, and the food was good. Amaretto sour was super. Beach was quiet enough, safe and all conveniences in walking distance

Spent the day at Dover Beach. Beautiful turquoise warm sea, but beware some large waves on certain areas of the beach. Also a reminder that the south coast can suffer from bad sargassum certain times of year. Great amenities, food stalls, drinks, toilets and showers all available for use. Christopher works hard putting sun loungers and umbrellas out, which we paid 30bbd for 2 people. Also water sports available at this beach for additional cost. I even spotted some turtles swimming nearby.

Swimming with turtles was probably one of the best moments of the holiday, friendly guys offering sunbeds ect. Several bars offering ice cold drinks

Nice beach with good beachfront hotels. Not many to no vendors on the beach (usually around on weekends when they know more people are out).

Gorgeous stretch of beach with sunbeds for hire and some great little beach bars nearby. Perfect place to spend the day, just be careful of the strength of the Sun! I managed to get sunburned despite wearing sunscreen.

I loved it here. Medium sized waves when I was there but I like those waves. Had lots of fun would really recommend.

Beautiful beach. It is not that big so can get a bit crowded but it's still great nonetheless. The abundance of seaweed however knock it down a notch for me.

My favourite beach in Barbados! Easy for swimming, lots of space to lay. The sea is calm. May be difficult to find it, you have to go all the way to the end of the beach. Lots of spaces for food and drink around too.

The beach is good, white sands easy access to the sea even with a few waves. Sun beds as well as umbrellas are available (not too expensive).

πŸ‘ Lovely beach, although beach beds a bit random, a bit scruffy. Two little bars, about a pound per beer if you buy 4. Shallow chest high bay, warm water, turtles swim there! Easy walk from The Gap.
