I really don’t understand why some reviewers call this ‘private’? All beaches in Barbados are public! Small beach that can feel even smaller during high season as this is the Royal Westmoreland beach for the residents in the complex. Plenty of chairs, gets quite busy in season. Depending on the tide it can get quite rocky and wavy, so all in all- decent beach, but there are better, quieter options out there if you’re looking for a quaint, peaceful beach for a quiet afternoon.

Don't know about the local guide who said this was an exclusive beach. It's a public beach very busy nice vibe about it but definitely not exclusive. Pretty crowded.

Lots of stones and rocks, water not clear, broken glass on the beach, and manchineel trees.

Beautiful place, incredible beach with generally great people and local individuals who supply food, help, advice, jetskii and more. If you ever get to go, even once in your life....its worth it

Sadly I used to love this beach but a few months ago they reopened the beach bar as a private members club. So even though the beach is public the Westmorland beach club has taken over part of it. For some reason they believe they can put their chairs on the public beach area to stop the public using it. Come on Barbardos authorities you have destroyed the lovely beach Mullins was to allow only a few to be able to to enjoy it. I heard so many people staying in the area who were feeling very disappointed and also the locals must be loosing money from lack of visitors. I wouldn't return again to be told I was not allowed to sit on part of the public beach because I wasn't a member of the clubhouse. However saying all that Adrians bar at the end is fab - great music and drinks and comfy beach chairs - go there and support the local community if you visit mullins.

Spent the week in an apartment close to the beach and visited Mullins Beach everyday. Plenty to do from jet skis to water skiing to snorkling. Adrian's shack has great rum punches and snacks.

Stunning beach. Staff helpful if you are part of Westmoreland. My experience was very positive. Food in the bar is nice too. Slightly difficult with having food via the bed service & being able to use an extra towel is impossible.

Deducting 2 stars - a lot of rocks and uneven grounds as you enter the water lasting for roughly 1-2 meters. Takes the joy out as you spend at least 5 minutes carefully stepping around them. Other than that great little beach - public, great views, and you can rent sun-loungers from friendly local crew (they have the best view/position in my opinion).

Lovely beach... lot's of watersports to choose from. Not the most spacious beach... but you can easily access bars, restaurants and the beach club that are all just a few steps away.

Calm beach with few people around. Ideal for a relaxing bath and small bites with cold drinks in one of the beach clubs

As beautiful as this beach is, it is all but disappeared. Climate change is quickly eroding it. Enjoy it while you can.

Simply beautiful. The water was so calm and clear it felt like a dream. The only thing that wasn't perfect was there are large smooth rocks in the water so it makes it a little challenging to walk in the water if you're injured or holding a baby. Not an exclusive beach at all. All beaches in Barbados are public.

This beach was my daughter and my favorite beach during our stay. It’s a fairly small beach that is somewhat protected with a semicircle bay. The waves can get pretty high closer to sunset. There are some rocky patches to watch out for but mostly a very calm and relaxing ride. There are water sports vendors that will sometimes be at the beach. We enjoyed a two person seated tube ride that took us up and down the shore line. Had a great time. Highly recommend this beach. Restaurants with beach seating too.
