I have lived in Barbados and visited many times and Accra is my favorite. The water is gorgeous, clear and the beach is beautiful. It's also where the beautiful people beach It's see and be seen. Plus the boardwalk takes you down to Hastings, restaurants and more. And you have a Cheffette across the street one of my fav places for shakes. Best beach ever!

Beautiful! Also, the west part is technically the start of the boardwalk that eventually has art on it. Just an FYI to people wanting to do the whole thing!

The best beach to visit on the island. We drove around the island and visited so many beaches but ended up coming back to Rockley also known as Accra beach. If your staying in private accommodation definitely the best choice. Amazing beach for swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing. The water is turquoise and clean and the sand is white. Chairs and umbrella available to rent at the beach for a reasonable price. There's a car park and many places to eat around so literally you can spend the day at Rockley beach. Locals are very friendly always ready to help and if you're lucky you'll meet Becky, a green monkey which comes to beach every day with her owner. If one day I'll be coming back to Barbados this beach will be one of the reasons.

The beaches in Barbados are some of the most beautiful i have ever seen. The water is crystal clear and unbelieveably warm. Like mid 80s in December!!! And no rocks or shells to cut your feet on. Just pure white sand.

The best beach ever. Me and my sons loved it to bits. Nice smooth sandy , wavy, good to play in the waves and in the sand. You have all favilities you need. A little bar and restaurant area, nice and clean toilet shower and changing room, beach souvenire shops, beautiful shore and a wooden walk path on the shore with pubs and clubs.

The beach was 35 min drive on taxi from the pier. The water colors are wonderful but that’s it. If you will go as sardine in mini bus- car with other 10 people you will pay for 2 - 20 dollars. Back we took normal taxi and payed 25 dollars in total. About the beach - nice view but very rough sea, I could not swim there at all, big waves. For 2 lounge chairs and umbrella you will pay 15 dollars but: 1) be careful from whom you will take those, women pointed us to wrong men who tried to take advantage of us and asked 30 dollars and as turned out they did not even worked there 2) the loungers and a umbrella in a very poor state and dirty 3) I did not feel safe at this beach at all - behind us were many groups (gangs) of local young men drinking and looking at all people who were in the beach. I did not like Barbados at all.

An absolutely perfect beach! The water is calmn, clean and exquisitely blue. This is the kind of beach that will make you marvel at how beautiful this earth is. Two chairs and umbrellas are available for rent for USD$15. There are several areas on the beach to get food and drinks. Possibly my favorite beach in Barbados!

This beach in Barbados is really pretty. It's right in front of our hotel, so it's easy to get to. The water is a lovely blue color, especially in the evening, but in the morning, there might be some seaweed. It's not too crowded, so you can have a nice time here. You can rent beach chairs and umbrellas from two different companies. There are bathrooms right on the beach. We even saw some baby tortoises, which was a fun surprise.

My family and I had a get time here in Barbados. Beautiful white sand beach with wave after wave of mild currents. Had a great time swimming and relaxing on the beach. Bars and restaurants are nearby. Chairs and umbrellas are available.

Beautiful beach. Clear water. Waves can get a bit strong - be cautious! Right in walking distance of shops, restaurants, bars. Right beside Accra Hotel/Accra Beach. Very busy tourist beach. Some locals trying to sell you things. Just kindly say no thanks and they will leave you alone. You have to pay for chairs and umbrellas here. $15 US a day for 2 chairs and an umbrella.

Gorgeous beach that is always welcoming to tourists. There's chairs with umbrellas along the beach that you can pay for. If you order food, you can eat it on the beach chairs or at the tables near the restaurants like Chicken George. You'll see a few animals like birds and crabs if you're lucky. Across the street are other restaurants, gift shops, an electronics store, and more. And if it's too hot to play at the playground nearby, there's one in the Chefette's across the street. If you come when there's a lot of seaweed in the water, just wait a couple of days and it should be cleared.

The rockley beach in Barbados is a mesmerizing marvel, boasting white sand and pristine blue waters. The picturesque rocks that surround it only enhance its allure. Strolling along the boardwalk is a delightful experience, but the true magic lies in the sunsets that grace this paradise. Barbados is renowned for its breathtaking sunsets, painting the sky in a palette of vibrant hues. A visit to this beach is an absolute must for those seeking to witness the unmatched beauty of Barbadian sunsets.

It's a really pretty, clean beach. The water is so beautiful. There are two places you can rent chairs from. The first is from the restaurant which includes beers and access to their amenities. And then there are other chairs that are cheaper which include loungers, umbrellas, and water. It's never too crowded. It's a great beach!

Beautiful white sand beach. Great to visit in the mornings on weekdays, because mostly empty. They have beach chairs and umbrellas for rent. Lifeguard on site. Lots of vendors to purchase food and drinks from.

I am biased as we always stay on Rockley Beach when we visit. You cannot beat the soft sand and great views.

Beautiful beach with penalty of shops nearby by. However, if your a single female you will be cat called and harassed by locals. If you walk down the boardwalk you'll come across some quiet spots ☺️ Also, the beach chairs and tables are $10 Bajan each to rent.

We have been to Rockley many times, and it is one of the best beaches in Barbados. However, sometimes in 2023, there is a lot of seaweed so check online before going.

Very nice beach with everything included. Clear water, nice soft sand, facilities, even a small coral reef (although almost destroyed). Sunset views included! However, there is common waste problem here as well. Rubbish piles on the back are awful.

One of the nicer beaches of Barbados! It is shallow water up until the rocks further out, where it starts getting deeper. Turquoise clear waters with changing fades or blue the further you go out

Great Beach, so much fun for older children. Bring the boogie boards. You can grab some great chairs here. And no need to pack lunch, has there are so many choices close by.

πŸ‘ Lovely beach, although beach beds a bit random, a bit scruffy. Two little bars, about a pound per beer if you buy 4. Shallow chest high bay, warm water, turtles swim there! Easy walk from The Gap.
