Beautiful clean beach and sea within walking distance of Bridgetown, quieter than beaches around St Lawrence with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby for cocktails and food.

Beautiful beach positioned centrally not far from the cruise port. A lot of bars and grills around. Interesting was the fact that despite its position in the centre of the town it is busy at all the time with loads of boats and people swimming and snorkelling and even so here can be spotted turtles swimming on the bay like on a virgin beach. Sand and water are great, the only inconvenience is the river which some times is flowing on to the sea through the beach and the water is not the best quality as it contains drainage water.

This beach is so beautiful. Water is so calm and perfect for entire family. Definitely a must go to beach.

Great beach with lots of local interaction opportunities. You can gaze at the sunrise/sunset. Run along the shore. Rent a chair and umbrella. Drink at a beach side bar or local rum shop. Eat, eat, and eat, or just lay still and do nothing.

Arguably the best beach in Barbados. Sand nice and golden and the water is great. Rent a chair and an umbrella and enjoy the wonderful sea sun and sand. Lifeguards along the beach as well with beach facilities

It’s a beautiful Carsile Bay beach. You can see turtles and a few shipwrecks. If you’re a strong swimmer you can come around 3pm and swim to where the tour catamarans are. They’ll feed the fish to attract turtles and show you exactly where the shipwrecks are.
