Lots of sargasum around which had thousands of flys BUT you can't beat the beauty of the beach and the natural rocks. The Beach is pink which was lovely.

Beautiful beach not to be missed if you travel to Barbados! We stayed at the Crane Resort but this beach is accessible even if you don’t stay here.

We arrived at high tide, and there was very little beach to see. What wasn’t covered by water was buried by seaweed. However, there was a tractor removing the seaweed and I’m sure once the tide goes out the beach is beautiful. It was a very cool setting. We decided to stay, walk around and purchased coconut cocktails made fresh beachside by Ray Ray. They were delicious and we would return just for the drinks alone!! No joke. Not a lot of parking, but I guess that helps keep the beach population down, which is nice.

Beautiful beach, albeit with rough waves. We visited during covid so extremely quiet, but absolutely beautiful sand and views. Few loungers available for hotel guests, and beach access is through the Crane Hotel. They currently do not offer day passes but will let you through the hotel to get to the beach via elevator and stairs.

I feel like it’s over rated, there are better ones in area. There is no natural shadow and there are lots of seaweeds around

Beautiful beach, great scenery, very peaceful. The cliffs by the ocean is very scenic.

Ocean is rough, beach is in front of overlooking Crane resort. There are nicer beaches without services to the East.

A really lovely beach overlooked from the clifftops at one end by The Crane Resort. We spent the afternoon on the white sands, hiring two sunbeds and an umbrella for $40 (Barbadian dollars). Cooling Atlantic breeze. Lots of good waves which are a little less powerful than the ones experienced at Bottom Bay just up the coast. Reminded us of a beach in Cornwall!

Breath taking view of the coast on the east side of the island. There is a decent amount of seaweed but that did not bother me. Sand is incredibly smooth, waves can be tough seeing that it's facing the Atlantic but there are calm days when the water is perfect for swimming.

Great ocean views, nice sun bath chairs available at reasonable price. Small outdoor restaurant nearby.

One of Barbados, if not the Caribbean’s most outstanding beaches. Here you will find dramatic cliffs, abundant sub tropical vegetation, the softest white hint of pink sand, azure waters gently lapping onto the shore, and a coral reef that creates a natural harbor providing a safe swimming area.

Nice big beach with beautiful pink sand. Beach chairs and umbrellas availble to rent on the beach. A bit complicated to get to the beach and the water isn't always swimable due to strong currents. Wouldnt recommend for those who arent strong swimmers but tons of fun if you are.

What a beautiful beach. The water is not quiet, it has a lot of waves. Some are stronger than others. However it is a pleasure to play with those waves. The sunchairs and umbrellas are free and the people are very friendly. You can also get towels if you have a card for it. Always will come back to enjoy this beach again. Highly recommanded.

Definitely not the time to go to this beach right now. The seaweed is so bad, and they had a tractor burning exhaust and just pulling the seaweed back and forth along the beach and dropping it back where he pulled it from to begin with. He did this for 2 hours before we finally had to get out of there. Previous years this beach has proven to be world class, hopefully the situation gets better. Stick to west coast beaches and resorts for now.

Lots of seaweed washed up on the beach, it wasn’t the nicest and full of flies. Quite disappointed. The pink sand was nice, but very not a chill experience

Crane Beach is a beautiful beach but it is very rough as it is on the Atlantic coast of Barbados. I used to belly surf here when I was a young teenager in boarding school close by at Mapps College. You have to be careful here though. There is some algae now as everybody knows the Sargasus seaweed has been a problem all over the Caribbean and Florida. Fortunately the West Coast of Barbados does not have this issue with the seaweed.

Nice , I would say a bit wild beach on east coast in comparison with south beaches. Pink sand. But you need a car to get there if you don't live somewhere close

Worth the visit. Very high waves. More for lounging and walking into the surf. Not really family oriented but what a gorgeous beach! We walked down the stairs from the cliff above and someone was making fresh coconut drinks! Amazing!!!

A must visit beach in Barbados. Pinky sands but lots of seaweed. The guys selling coconut drinks are a bit annoying and loud.

Seaweed was very bad and only 1 day did I see a tractor picking it up and letting it go to the side. It is very small and not very clean. You will need to get a taxi for $25 or more to take you to another beach. I will not be back to the Crane. Air Conditioning does not work!!! They charge you for everything!!! Be aware.
