The best place for a cost-effective Barbados vacation. The location is great, the best beach is just 5 meters away. A lagoon with white, fine powdered sugar sand in combination with a wonderfully warm Caribbean, turquoise-blue sea. Swimming (snorkeling) with sea turtles from morning to evening does not require an expensive excursion. Nothing is missing at Cleverdale Beach Guesthouse. Clean and functionally furnished with wonderful sea views from the veranda. Not luxury but very comfortable with lots of privacy. Brigitte, the landlady, is a treasure! She takes care of everything, always has an open ear for her guests and her tips are worth their weight in gold. The Cleverdale is very quiet, although there are restaurants, street food around the corner, as well as supermarkets, night life and the bus stop. That's the "must have done" in Barbados anyway... use the bus services! No matter whether short or long distances... each trip only costs 2 Barbados dollars (1 USD). You can explore the entire island and move around completely freely. All beaches are public. It takes less than 15 minutes by bus to Bridgetown, from there you can go in all directions to the rest of the island. Barbara and Rudi keep the house clean and in order, together with Brigitte they are an unbeatable team. The first time that I booked another holiday directly on site. See you again next year. :-)

Great guesthouse. It's just a few steps to the beach/sea. The guesthouse consists of two apartments and three rooms. Two of the rooms have an adjacent bathroom. The other room has a bathroom on the opposite side.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Brigitte Taylor's guest house. To wake up with the beach right at your feet and turquoise ocean in your view is really breath taking from the porch of this simple self serving studio size apartment. It's walking distance to the grocery stores bar restaurants, fast food places and just a five minute walk from St. Lawrence Gap for more restaurants, bars and dancing. It's also a quick taxi or bus ride to Oistins Fish Market and Bridgetown. We were able to rescue under 100 baby turtles as well as swim with the bigger turtles each day for the week that we were there. For all this, the price is right ! Brigitte is very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. We highly recommend Brigitte's Cleverdale Beach house when you decide to vacation in Barbados. Thanks so much Brigit

Excellent place to spend your holidays, your host is very friendly and with good communication. The beach in front of the apartment is divine and with many businesses nearby to shop and explore.

Love it. Location, location, location. Only problem, thin walls between rooms. A home away from home. Will definitely stay here again.

Hello. I was in Barbados with my boyfriend in June 2015. Friends recommended the Cleverdale beach house to me. I booked directly through their English website because my friends said it would be cheaper. This saved us a lot of money. We also booked a cheap flight with Condor. The house is in a great location. The studios were very nicely furnished as in the pictures, everything you needed was there and it was very clean. Everything we wanted for our vacation was just a few minutes walk away. Great view of the beach with one of the best beaches in Barbados. In the evenings we sat on the veranda and listened to the sea or walked a few minutes to the tourist area of ​​Saint Lawrence Gap. There you can drink cheap cocktails or dance in the discos (some with live music). There were also many local stalls and small bars there. Barbados and the people of the island gave us such a warm welcome that we can only recommend the island and the Cleverdale beach house. We will recommend not only the apartments but also the island to all our friends.

We stayed at cleverdale beachhouse in 2020 for first planned two weeks. Due to covid we stayed longer instead of two weeks - four weeks. Despite all the circumstances we had a wonderful time. The guesthouse is a great place to rest. Everything is near the house, you can walk to every store. The beach is just a few steps away. We are so excited to see everyone again. We sat always outside, especially in the evening and played cards. The garden is small, but beautiful. Everyone was really nice to us. Thanks for everything. We had a great time with you guys. Thanks for our personal road trip with Stephanie. Thanks to her lovely Mom Gaby and her husband Andrew, you both are amazing. The house was always super clean and everything was really comfortable for us. We really hope, we can visit you this year again, after alle the trouble with covid. Stay safe guys, we miss you. I stayed in the rooms of guesthouse & apartments Cleverdale many times over years with my boyfriend. The house and the apartments are located on the south-west coast of Barbados. The 3 bedrooms are matching decorated and have good beds. All rooms have their own bathroom. They share a complete kitchen, living-dining room and a large ocean view veranda. We have relaxed in the evening on the veranda to listen to the sea. The location is perfect, just 5 minutes walk to hotels, restaurants, nigt life and shops of the favorite Saint Lawrence Gap. Bus stop to many places on the Island is just 100 yards away from the house. I can recommend the guest-house rooms and apartments which are clean and in a very good location at beach guesthouse Clverdale in Barbados. Really value for money. My boyfriend and I have stayed at the Cleverdale beach house many times over the last few years. The guesthouse has rooms and holiday apartments (studios). This holiday property is located on the south-west coast of Barbados. The rooms are suitably nicely decorated and simply furnished with very good mattresses. The 3 holiday rooms, each with its own bathroom, have a large shared kitchen, a living-dining room and a veranda with a sea view of the beach opposite. The popular Saint Lawrence Gap (developed for tourism) with hotels, restaurants, bars, beach bars and discos is only a 5-minute walk away. The bus stop is only 100 meters away. You can take buses to almost all parts of the island. I can recommend the holiday accommodation 100%. Simple, clean and great location. The price-performance ratio is right here.
