Very
small
open
air
airport.
Areas
which
are
not
air
conditioned.
Limited
food
and
drink
option.
Decent
shopping.
For
a
country
which
heavily
relies
on
tourism
it
is
surprising
that
the
airport
doesn't
match
the
otherwise
fantastic
island.
We
found
airport
staff
to
be
rude,
specifically
and
incident
where
airport
security
repeatedly
shouted
at
an
elderly
gentleman
for
not
taking
his
shoes
off
and
loading
his
bags
incorrectly
(no
signs
were
displayed
to
tell
travellers
what
was
expected
at
security).
I
also
dropped
off
customs
forms
and
the
staff
were
rude
and
laughed
in
my
face
when
I
asked
what
the
process
was
,
their
response
was
"it'll
get
sorted
when
it
gets
sorted".
There
was
plenty
of
helpful
staff
and
please
don't
let
this
review
put
you
off
Barbados
as
a
whole,
which
is
a
beautiful
place
to
visit,
but
the
hospitality
and
kindness
we
received
on
the
island
was
unfortunately
unmatched
at
their
port
of
exit.
