So
I
ordered
two
curry
meat
platters
over
the
phone
with
a
side
of
curried
sweet
potato
and
a
chicken
roti
with
pumpkin
and
chickpeas.
When
I
received
the
delivery
there
was
no
curried
sweet
potato,
the
meat
portions
were
small
and
there
was
pumpkin
in
my
platter
instead
of
rice.
When
I
called
back,
the
clerk
apologized
first
and
then
had
me
to
speak
with
the
manager.
So
right
out
of
the
gate
I
was
stunned
by
the
clerks
apology
because
typically
when
reporting
an
issue
at
any
other
retailer
I
would
receive
immediate
attitude.
Carissa,
answered
and
after
explaining
the
situation
she
also
apologized
and
informed
me
that
the
sweet
potato
was
still
at
the
location.
She
then
told
me
that
there
were
supposed
to
be
2
scoops
of
meat
in
the
platter
but
since
she
didn’t
see
the
preparation
she
would
be
happy
to
replace
the
meal.
After
explaining
that
I
don’t
drive
and
ordered
the
food
for
delivery,
Carissa
asked
me
if
I
would
like
to
return
to
the
Welches
location
or
visit
one
closer
to
where
I
lived.
She
then
informed
me
that
she
would
call
ahead
and
confirm
the
closing
time
and
inform
the
manager
of
my
visit.
She
then
called
me
back
and
informed
me
that
they
would
be
closing
a
bit
earlier
than
expected
so
if
I
wanted
to
go
the
next
day
she
could
leave
my
name
and
I
could
have
it
freshly
made
again.
Carissa
has
renewed
my
faith
in
customer
service
in
Barbados.
Up
until
our
interaction
whenever
expressing
concerns
or
hell
even
asking
a
question
related
to
my
service,
products
or
experiences
with
retailers;
I
would
receive
attitude,
dismissal,
or
downright
arguing.
So
imagine
my
surprise
when
a
manager
would
be
kind
understanding
and
helpful.
Not
only
was
Carissa
helpful
she
went
above
and
beyond
to
make
sure
I
had
a
redemptive
experience
with
Chutneys.
She
also
followed
up
with
me
to
ensure
that
I
enjoyed
my
food.
Carissa
and
her
staff
really
demonstrate
what
superb
customer
service
looks
like.
The
bar
has
been
set
really
high,
other
fast
food
restaurants
better
take
note.
Customer
service
is
the
way
to
get
repeat
business.
Carissa
deserves
all
the
praise
and
dare
I
say
raise
or
at-least
some
form
of
acknowledgment.
