It is definitely a great place to eat, the flying fish cutters are simply amazing … just one downside is that this place is expensive and there is better value for money for these cutters on the island.

Cutters was the last stop for our week vacation in Barbados. On the way to the airport me and my travel partner found this deli on Google. After reading the reviews we said let's go and we were hungry. Upon entry, this restaurant has unique style and the set up has a home feeling. At first when we saw I miniature menu on the table the options were limited. I felt disappointed but then the very nice waiter came and brought over another paper and advised us scan the bar code. And there came all the food choices. We opted for the fish cakes which to my very pleasant surprise was extremely delicious. Fresh, hot and flavorful. Then we had the chicken quesadilla. That was as equally yummy. The salsa that came with it was so good. The chicken was fresh and tender. Our server was very friendly and engaging. If I come back to barbados I am going to try the ham. But I do recommend and would come back.

Well done! Everything about this place screams “The Best of”! Go here for the food, the service and quaint atmosphere. You will not be disappointed Rum Punch is a must have. The best on the island. Took home two bottles to share with my best friends.

Service is exceptional and polite. The cutter sandwiches are very good, the soup is delicious, the fries are "light" and the rum punch is very tasty. Definitely worth the walk from The Crane and I'd make a detour if I was passing by.

Cutters is amazing! So good, we went back the next day. Their rum punch is the best we had on the island, perfectly balanced with fresh grated nutmeg on top. They take so much care in the food they make, and it shows. On top of it all, the service is friendly and warm, and Roger was there bringing samples of Thanksgiving turkey out to us. Can't wait to get back.

This location is beautiful, in the countryside. Colonial feel, excellent service ( Thank you Harry) and great food! They will deliver you food to the Crane Beach if you order by telephone or ahead of time! The small hut on the Crane beach no longer serves food. Alcohol is also not served by the hut either unless you are a guest at the Hotel. Call Cutters and they will sort you out !

Great staff and incredible Rum Punch! The flying fish sandwich was kind of skimpy on the meat, but the fritters are something I can truly stand behind.

Wonderful small little joint. Stopped by after Foursquare rum tasting because we heard about their rum Punch. It was a good punch with a nice ice tea flavor but I think there are better ones I tasted. The fly sandwich we got were really yum! Very relax small hut feeling. Love the hot sauce too!

Food quality and service was good, but very expensive and touristy. Expect BD$55/head for breakfast with coffee, and up to BD$100/head for lunch with alcohol. Great in a pinch if you’re staying nearby but not worth a trek.

To be honest I am very shocked by some of the reviews about the Cutters... the flying fish was completely basic and the roasted chicken was incredibly dry. There was really no flavor to these cutters and the price does not match the quality at all. The rum punch is quite good though and I appreciated the fresh shaved nutmeg.

The food was fine . The rum punch was good too. But honestly both were not the best on the island. The service by the waitress was very good. The live band was exceptional however the bartender's service left much to be desired. He should consider treating tourist and locals of all cultures with respect. Especially how he seats guest and serves his drinks. It's costly but expected more respect.

I just love this place. Had a flying fish cutter, coleslaw and two rum punches (one more than I should have!!). The cutter had a double portion of fish, the slaw was totally fresh and both were delicious. The rum punch, made will all real and fresh ingredients, was easily the best I've had. Roger and his staff are friendly and efficient, which just rounds out an already positive experience. Come over to St Philip and give it a try.

Way better than expected. The flying fish sandwich was excellent. The Mac and cheese was different with red pepper but good taste. The split peas soup made with ham bone broth was excellent. Coffee was excellent, aromatic and strong. Arguably the best rum punch. If you are in Barbados you definitely need to try this place

We've been coming to Cutters for over 10 years and it's our first go to place when arriving in Barbados. The rum punch is the best ever and we always take a few bottles home to enjoy! The guys at Cutters are great too !!

Some say that the best rum punch and cutters are to be found at Cutters... and I have to say I agree! Called in on a Monday afternoon to enjoy the above, as well as macaroni pie. Staff are soooo friendly and the food and drink was spot on. Lovely chilled atmosphere sat out front, with 80s tunes helping me feel right at home. A must for anyone staying at the nearby Crane, and well worth a stop if you're out and about that way.

The breakfasts were so good we had to go back again before we left for the airport. Our favorite was the breakfast burrito. Make sure to use the hot sauce. Also had to bring home a liter of their rum punch. Best we had anywhere on the island during our week long stay.

Rum punch was powerful stuff, pretty tasty as well. Fish cutters were pretty average compared to others that we've tried on the island, with pricing being much higher when compared to others. If you are flowing with cash, then stop by. If you care a little more about the balance of quality and value, give others a shot.

The server was very patient with my mum and I. She listened to our interesting questions. And gave information where to get the bus. Asked if I would like any more condiments for my fish, which won me over. While it may not be the cheapest it certainly is in a prime location for the area and again service won us over.

Overated, the cutters where tiny but tasted good but Way over priced. For the price of the cutters one would expect flying fish cooked in gold..... As for the tortilla chips with salsa, the owner needs to revisit the menu and re evaluate what is being served and figure out if they are offering value and quality. Lemonade was good but again, the price paid for sugar water is not acceptable unless the limes where grown on some top organic farm and the lime trees where hybrid. However the staff where lovely and approachable. that's the only thing that saved this review. Cutters you have the opportunity to be great, make it right!

Some of the best Rum Punch on the Island. Ostinins is know for their fresh fish and Cutters is known for their fresh rum punch. A must have if you're near the Crane resort. Thank you Latoya....

Very friendly staff and good service. Food was 3/4 meals well made. Pancakes came raw on inside. Best rum punch so far, tho!

What a cool place. Patrons pick up a guitar and play Beatles tunes while we dine. Colorful items string across the walls. So fun and authentic. We met Roger the owner who brought us our egg plates. The kitchen accommodated us during lunch to serve out the breakfast menu… And we loved it 👍🏻🇧🇧❤️🙏🏻

Wonderful food! Best rum punch you will get in Barbados (or anywhere)! Plus amazing service. Roger and the staff takes great care of his customers. We same back 2 days in a row - We had the king fish cutter, the flying fish cutter, ham and roast beef cutter - all amazing! The fries are also so good!

Every time we come to the island we make sure and eat here at least twice. It’s a home cooked meal and is done to your specifics when you order. Great engagement with the staff and the owner is great to talk to.

Cutters is a FIND! Great food. Amazing ambience. Roger and Amy the owners are lovely. The staff is really nice and of course Barbados #1 Rum Punch!!! Flying fish and coke slaw and rum cake were soooo good. My daughter played guitar with the very welcoming locals on the porch. Don’t miss out on this sweet low key easy going cafe style spot!

Have been back multiple times for this great fish cutter and definitely for the best rum punch on the island! The owner, staff and locals all very friendly and welcoming. Great place, be sure to check our Cutters of Barbados if your visiting. You won’t be disappointed! :)

We did the private rum punch class to make their famous rum punch on your own. Amazing! Outside in a nice shaded garden, with the owner who is a wealth of knowledge about the island, rum, and so much more. It included lunch and two batches of our homemade rum punch to bring home. If there was a 6th bonus star for the review, we’d give it.

👍 We enjoyed dishes like mahi-mahi and shrimp for starters, along with a delightful shrimp Risotto. The flavors were delicious, and both the ambience and service were outstanding. Perhaps there could be a bit more food for the price paid. The atmosphere was excellent with a comfortable seating area.
