Brutal service. I hear ownership is a real mess, and there's often an old leathery guy there who swears he owns a hockey team in canada but seems like he can barely afford his bar tab. Do not recommend.

Love berts! Great food items to try are the nachos..or.pizza for sure! You can build your own pizza as well, which i normally do....service is good. The restaurant is very relaxing and cool...there's outside seating or you can sit inside.

My #1 chill out spot... the food and drinks are consistant and affordable. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere...HIGHLY RECOMMEND...... love the staff.. Keisha the waitress is so patient and kind to us. When you go make sure you let Chris the bartender make your cocktails.. he is an absolute gem and is so humorous with it. Must never forget Jason the Assistant manager always ensuring our experience is superb. I can go here 100 times and never be tired.

Not a bad bar & restaurant on the south coast of the island...directly competing with Bubba's Sports Bar (just a few minutes walk along the same road). Though not as popular as Bubba's, Abbeville offers a similar menu, great service and comparable prices to most south coast restaurants. The option of outdoor seating is an added benefit along with gaming machines. It's worth the visit if you're in the area if you're looking for a somewhat quiet atmosphere to get a bite to eat or a drink. If you're looking for an immersive sports bar then Bubba's is a better option.

The waitress was okay, the wait for the food was an hour and a half. The pasta (only) lacked salt, the drink was not the best and in the end, I was unable to drink it. However, I will say that the protocols were being followed and the ambience was lovely. The presentation of the food/drink was also good. The starter dish was also lovely. Hopefully, it was just an off night and a better experience can be expected in future.

Staff are lovely. Watched the football here, plenty of screens, beer was $5 BBD, not sure how much the rum was, I had too many to care by that point. Stone bread and pizza okay, pizza quite small though

Definitely a hidden gem. Lovely dinning atmosphere, extensive menu and great cocktail list. Service was friendly at attentive with both our server and manager coming by to check on us while dining. Food was great, I had the grilled prawn Alfredo and my friend had one of their pizza/flat breads. Both were tasty and decent portion size. Will be sure to return.

The experience was nice, the protocols were followed and the staff are very polite and friendly. However, our waitress seemed to have forgotten about us and mixed up our orders with another table, the mix up happens. The starter was good however more sauce should be given if 12 fish cakes are ordered. The abbie's 1/2lb burgers we ordered were lacking flavor and the fries needed some salt or place salt as an option on the tables. On the other hand the drinks were delicious, they were well mixed

Excellent customer service. I've been here about 4 times so far and i'm never disappointed with the service. Pricing is affordable, food is nice. Absolutely love their daiquris and pizza! Also one of my go-to locations for fish cakes!

The service was great but only about 4 or 5 menu options due to an overhaul by new owners. I was so disappointed and then I had to send back a poorly made cocktail. The burger I ended up ordering was flawless but by then I was irritated as hell.

Honestly, the ambience wouldn't bring me back to where I was. I was with a large party, and the whole place seemed sad and completely empty. The staff seemed sad to be there, the food was poor based on what I had, which was a burger, fries and shake, and the shake tasted like just milk. It seems dated to be honest. The menu was fascinatingly limited, and it even though it operates based on a profit basis, it seems as though it would only be sensible to buy certain things. The place needs a rebrand, and remodel, hopefully things would improve from there.

As a church group we celebrated our 10th anniversary with dinner. There were 10 of us ladies. Each person chossed their food from the full items on the menu ,we shared a sumptuous meal and fun together. It was a very quiet night in our area of the restaurant. It's family friendly as you can have an area just for your family. It's well lit and breezy.

Service was great. Staff was attentive and made sure we were well.

The food was just ok but it took too long to come. Our table didn't receive two orders until we decide to leave. Those of us who did receive food had to wait over an hour for it. The wait staff did keep us informed about what was going on but it was still way too long for food. As kind as the waitress was I wouldn't recommend because either the kitchen needs help or more staff.

Stopped by looking for a place to watch the Super Bowl and have dinner. We were given a Reserved table, great service from Jason, Rochelle, and Charissa. Loved the pizza and drinks.

Good parking, food was ok and the drinks were good. However the service needs improvement. Orders took long although the place wasn't full. There seemed a lack of confidence with taking my order as items were forgotten. Observed other patrons seemingly frustrated with said slow service. Hopefully with improved service I would return.

On Monday I took a friend to lunch there to try somewhere new to them. I ordered their meat beast pizza and was given a pizza. As I sat eating I found it strange that I couldn't taste nor see ingredients advertised for the type of pizza I ordered so I inquired with the waiter if it was indeed the meat beast to which he said yes. I asked to see the menu again then pointed out that it didn't match the description. After carrying it to the kitchen the manager returned and told me they did indeed get my order wrong but as I had taken a few bites, not knowing mind you what the order was supposed to look like, I would need to pay extra to get the correct order. I was extremely disappointed and off put by this as well as implications that I MAY have known it was the wrong order. I paid my bill and left immediately and discarded the left over pizza as it was NOT WHAT I ORDERED! This as the absolute highest of poor customer service and quality relations and has left me disgusted with this establishment.

Go look at my other reviews, none are below 3 stars I try and support places rather than look for a medium to complain. -great TV set up -awful service -if you remember this place as Burt's, go to Bubba's down the road I walked in with a party of 5 and a person I met while watching an (American) football game the week before gestured for me to join his table. We mentioned we might see him at Abbeville the next week. We went over to sit before checking with the staff and before we were seated we were berated by a manager about bringing 5 when it was supposed to be 4. I understand we can't just sit where we pleased so I went to ask where we could sit (more empty seats than occupied) and to explain we didn't need to sit together. The manager just started going off on me for mine and my "fathers" arrogance, I have honestly never experienced anything like that in my life. The TV set up is honestly the best around so it's not a bad place to make a reservation but don't just show up and expect any service whatsoever. I started the interaction with a polite " excuse me sir" and he just went off on me for a solid 2 minutes lol, not even my dad, I was just asking to take one of the many empty tables for my party of 5 and he embarrassed the poor man who asked if I would join his table. Bubba Rays in less than 5 minutes down the road toward Bridgetown across from Acra/Rockley beach, I was greeted with a smile.

The wait for food was kind of long but the food and service was good. I'd go back.

Good sports bar, cool enough inside to relax and watch the footy, good pizza and service. Bucket of beer and the football ticks the boxes for me!

Omg ! Everything was soo good! And the service was excellent and so kind. We had the fish cakes, flying fish, snapper, salad and the macaroni pie was the best ever, something so special about it. Our rum punches were strong and yummy and presentation was A+ and no I’m not related to anyone at this establishment in any way shape or form! We are already planning and drooling about our next dinner here! Did not disappoint and more excellant employees that went above and beyond then I can list. We loved it!!!!

Drinks were horrible , didn't even bother to order food . Service was just below subpar .

Fabulous food from the bbq menu!

Went there for the first time last night and it was great! the food, the atmosphere and the staff made me feel welcomed! Definitely will be going again.

Went for lunch after a drive up the coast. 2 people, ordered 2 cutters...1 hour later, we finally got lunch! Plain sandwich with lettuce and slice of tomato...no condiments on the table or offered...had to ask for everything! A flying fish cutter (marked MP on menu) turned out to be 30.00! Pretty expensive!! Sorry, won't be going back...at least not to eat!

Drinks were not good. The food was ok. It came out hot and fresh which was great but it wasn't seasoned enough for me. The service and the atmosphere were the best part. I'd go back just because of that.

Since becoming "Abbeville" (formerly "Bert's") the atmosphere in this place has lifted. Pleasant, attentive staff, happier dispositions all round. Responsive to requests to view rugby matches too! Excellent cocktails, good food selection, reasonable prices, rugby on the screens - what more could you want?

I used to rate this place 4 stars or above. Unfortunately since reopening since having a facelift the menu is limited to pizza only. The staff is great tho

Very happy Bert's is OPEN again but with only pizza on the menu I'm missing my usual Chicken Philly :) Staff is very friendly as always. Pizza was yummy.

A family friendly sports bar. Their hours are influenced by big sports events -- and is the go-to source for ice hockey. I am told the pizza is really good, will have to try next time.

I would recommend the shrimp pasta and pizza, always served hot and tasty . Some severs tend to be a bit slow with order taking .
