The Parliament Building and Museum is located in the heart or Bridgetown, Barbados. This historic structure obviously Modeled after a similar establishment in London, England (They are serious about the moniker of "Little England"). Within close proximity of the Lord Nelsons statue in Heroes Square and Independence Square.. This building stands out as an architectural masterpiece of a bygone era.. Parliament Building and Museum is an Icon of Barbados itself and is sometimes used in that role on various occasions and in several media forms. The actual building and structures are quite picturesque and demands to be photographed or captured in some way. I felt that it would be somewhat remiss of me not to record such magnificent historic structure which epitomizes the whole Barbadian (Bajan) ethos. I recommend visiting the Parliament Building and Museum for anyone in or around Bridgetown, Barbados.

Impressive building from outside. Understand there is a lot of history with this building. Unfortunately was not able to enter due to time constraints

A UNESCO heritage building, but to me, they seem to be very unassuming and just seem to be plonked down in the middle of the city.

Many older Bajans are very proud of their heritage - and this museum helps you understand it. Easy to navigate, doesn’t take a ton of time, air conditioned, inexpensive - and it taught me a lot about Barbadian history. Highly recommend.

I love that a part of our island's history is open for the public to see, even if for a small fee. Housed in beautiful coral stone buildings in the center of the city's capital, its a sight to see both inside and out.

What a great find. A short tour allowed us to go inside the main parliament halls, both upper and lower Chambers. Very ornate, original decor and construction. Our guide was very informative and attentive. I would really recommend a visit. Also right in the heart of old Bridgetown.

Great architecture, I wouldn't trade thise buildings for either of the newer buildings. Parking is not available on the premises but it can be found a few hundred yards (meters) away.
