Very quaint. The staff is attentive and the ambiance is soothing, I would definitely recommend this place to solo patrons, couples and small groups. The drinks are divine and there is live music on Sundays.

This is a marvelous spot for wonderful drinks and blazing amazing delicious food. If you miss this spot on your trip to Barbados, you only have yourself to blame. The pork belly bites are a MUST. The shrimp and mushroom risotto is divine! There's no going wrong with the Jack Daniel's ribs. The staff is simply incredible and deserve all the kudos I could write here for them. ❤️❤️❤️ EAT & DRINK HERE. You owe it to yourself.

Love this place. Nowhere else like it in Barbados. Got a real New York cocktail bar vibe and both the drinks and food are wonderful (especially the steak sliders). The owners couldn't be more welcoming and make you feel instantly at home.

Had a fabulous meal here last night with my mom. We sat inside and it has a super cool vibe and decor and powerful air con! They have beer on draught which was a novelty. We both ordered the catch of the day (marlin); I had rice and my mom had macaroni pie with it and we shared a side of fries. The fish was incredible and the best we’ve eaten here so far - even beating out Oistin’s Friday fish fry! We shared a bottle of wine and then I had a mojito and she had a G&T. The service was impeccable and so friendly. All in all this is a must visit, whether for cocktails (the mojito was delicious) or a slap up dinner.

A lovely evening out for cocktails and light bites. When we spoke to the restaurant we were told vegan options were available and upon arrival were told they were not. However, the owners were apologetic and lovely and surprised our friends with a cake to celebrate their wedding. Would definitely return.

Gem of a place ,inside this easy to miss pink building sits a sophisticated bar .We had drinks at the bar and received a warm welcome by the manager.We moved to a high table to eat our meal ,where we had a delicious 2 course meal .The service and presentation of the food and drinks were of a high standard .We enjoyed the music from the DJ and especially when he played a request of ours UB 40 “Red ,Red wine 🍷 “…We will be back to try the red wine .Thank you for a wonderful night .

Beautifully renovated bar, very friendly and polite service, good cocktails. Food is hit and miss : very tough meatballs but excellent ribs. High prices.

What a lucky find for us! The Sipping Room was one of our favourite spots in Barbados. We liked it so much we went back a few days later. Cocktails were great - try their famous Spiced Old Fashion or the Rum Sour. The food was a very good portion and delicious. The bar bites are also very well sized and tasty. The service was very good. Staff were friendly and attentive. They have an amazing selection of FourSquare Rum I have not seen anywhere else. We will definitely go back next time we are in Barbados. Highly recommend.

The happy hour is true happiness, Try the whisky sour for extra joy. Their food is some of the best I've had in Barbados

Really great quiet little bar with top shelf cocktails and delicious bites. Wonderful staff and service. Very good liquor selection Parking as always in Bridgetown is a bit dicey, but there is a bank building parking lot around the corner. Will come again.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was good, the drinks were great. I would recommend the rum/whiskey/amaretto sours. The atmosphere has a more intimate feel and is very relaxed. Great place to chill with friends for drinks.

Kept seeing this place as I passed on the road and finally decided to go. Called before to make a reservation which was really easy. Walked there so we could both drink and not have to worry about driving. Interior was lovely and air conditioned, which was very welcome with the hot weather we have been having. Staff all very welcoming and friendly. Gave us our choice of where to sit so we chose a high top overlooking the road. Had some cocktails to start, which were quite good. Nice variety of options for dinner. Food was very good and prices, though a little high, were not unreasonable for the quality and quantity. Only mistake I made was having a beer with my Nachos as it left me bloated. Totally my fault. Glad we chose to try them and hope to do it again before the end of the year.

Fantastic spot! The mixologist is un-contested on the island. Chanté is chef and the whole team is ready to serve unsurpassed food and drinks!

The drinks here are amazing. Especially my favorite, the espresso martini. The service is great, and the atmosphere was very tastefully done. You must check it out.

The ambiance from the time I entered the building gave me a cozy kind of couple vibe. Its a great place to hang out as a couple on the inside. However there's also space on the outside if you want to patronise as a group.

Such a nice discovery, all the friendliness of a rum shack combined with the class of an upmarket bar in any capital city. Very reasonable prices too.

This is such a nice spot. The atmosphere is so cool. The food is delicious. Try the plantain starter! The service is absolutely excellent.

Started with the Sipping Room salad then the Pulled Pork fries ( think amazing ribs pulled over fries). They told me it was a big portion which it was but challenge accepted! Too delicious to stop!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Service was very good However there was a few things not available on the menu when we visited. This was told to us but not until we already spent time looking at the menu. The person was very apologetic which was nice and was no fault of their own, but a little disappointing. The food was very tasty and service was fast considering its a restaurant. Good selection of drinks, also very tasty

There are not many (if any) spots like The Sipping Room on the island. The fact that it is so inconspicuous only adds to the whole experience. Classy and sophisticated, great drinks, tasty food and down to earth, friendly owners. If you're in Barbados and you're looking for a classy lounge, this is the spot. I stumbled upon it and was totally wowed by the experience. This is an absolute must whether you live in Barbados or are on holiday. Amazing concept guys and thank you for the great hospitality.

The service was excellent. The strict covid guidelines were followed, this didn't hinder us from enjoying good tasting bar bites especially the spicy shrimp salad served on a cucumber and some well mixed rum sours the rum used was black barrel. The Sipping room is definitely recommended for all person to go and enjoy all they have to offer.

The best pulled pork sandwich I have ever tasted! Plus the prices are really affordable - I didn’t feel guilty about adding extra mushrooms at all lol. It’s a really great place to hang out and feels welcoming just like home. Can’t wait to head back :)

I moved to Barbados 6 months ago and I have never been to a lounge and restaurant combination that compares. I've lived in NYC and LA and I know Barbados. Thank goodness this spot opened (in the middle of pandemic!). Let's take The Sipping Room as a bar first. The drinks and service are top notch. The atmosphere is subdued enough so you can chat and hang. If you want to eat they have fantastic apps and I had the Catch of the Day last night for dinner (only $40 BDS) and I was stunned. I'm coming back to taste how this kitchen does steak & lobster ($90-100 BDS)! They have an intimate, lovely indoor space and outdoor spaces too—both picnic benches for groups and more intimate tables. Special shout out to Jamario behind the bar and the rest of the bar staff. They know what they are doing. Imagine there was the perfect spot exactly between the big hotels of the Saint Michael coast and wild party scene St. Lawrence Gap. It's an ideal location. Be aware that parking is limited, so plan on that. Overall when you factor in price-point and class—remember this is an NYCer speaking: A+. Please support a new venture like The Sipping Room (not even a year old). The perfect concept has arrived in paradise.
