My husband and I are so glad we decided to celebrate our 10th anniversary with a quick getaway at Hamilton House. Everything about it was excellent. The Monet room was spacious and comfortable (the mattress was soooo comfy) with all the amenities we wanted. The covered porch was a nice place to sit was watch the much needed rain and have a glass of champagne. And the breakfast! It was delicious and so was the picnic lunch Gloria put together at our request. Gloria was a fantastic host and is a talented innkeeper. Thank you, Gloria, for a wonderful stay. We will be back!

We were incredibly impressed. When Gloria came out to see how we liked our breakfast, my wife and I both asked at the same time; "did you go to culinary school?". And yes, she did and it's just sO obvious. What an amazing experience. Thank you Gloria

This is the best B&B ever! The hostess was so friendly and welcoming. The house is beautiful. The bed was so comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious! We couldn’t have had a better stay at the Hamilton House.

My wife and I recently spent the weekend at Hamilton House for our anniversary. What a wonderful experience! We arrived Saturday evening, had a nice dinner and returned to the comfortable and cozy room. The next morning we enjoyed a terrific homemade breakfast. Gloria is a fantastic cook. That night we travelled a short distance to Fort Atkins for dinner and the play "Titanic, The Musical" at the Fireside. Excellent play, but I believe it's run is over. Anyway, we returned to Hamilton House for our second night. Before check out the next day, we had another great breakfast. The weekend could not have been any better. The room was wonderful, Gloria was a tremendous host, who provided the top notch breakfasts, and the town was so picturesque. We absolutely recommend the Hamilton House for a great weekend getaway. You will be very happy that you stayed there!!

I absolutely loved this B&B! It's beautiful, well-kept, and the food is amazing. (I'm normally not a fan of French Toast, but really enjoyed it!) The owner told us about the history of the house and clearly loves running the place. I hope we can stay again for longer!!!

My sweetheart and I were blessed to spend our first anniversary at Hamilton House B&B. From the moment we walked in, Gloria greeted is with a warm smile and amazing stories about the history of the house and surrounding area. The details of the house are breathtaking, and we also enjoyed a day of hiking and exploring. Thanks for taking good care of us, Gloria. We are happy to be repeat guests in the future!

This was the best stay I ever had ANYWHERE. The B&B is conveniently located and the rooms were really nice and comfortable and I have never felt so relaxed. When you enter the rooms, it is like you're transported back in time. I also had great conversations with the owner Gloria and her breakfasts were phenomenal! We will definitely be back again. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

To commemorate our twins’ graduations from UWW we stayed the weekend at the Hamilton House. What a great place! Walking distance to the downtown area. Pristine and comfortable suites & beds. Gloria’s breakfasts were phenomenal. She also welcome our sons for breakfast at a very reasonable fee and accommodated their diet restrictions. Won’t stay anywhere else when in Whitewater or the surrounding area.

I wish I could give Hamilton House more than 5 stars. It is outstanding. The owner, Gloria, could not have been more helpful and accommodating, going out of her way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The breakfasts were superb, even better than we had hoped for. We would highly recommend Hamilton House to anyone visiting the Whitewater area.

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and I wanted to make it special. I wanted to surprise him with a unique and wonderful experience. Gloria, the innkeeper and incredible chef, delivered in every way possible. The room was beautiful, the sheets were pristine and had the most beautiful smell. She gave a wonderful recommendation for dinner and set a beautiful table for us to eat at so we could celebrate our special day. The breakfast she made for us was the best breakfast we have ever had. The food was delicious and plated so beautifully. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. We will be coming back in the future. 100/10 recommend!

The house itself is beautiful! The amazing carved oak woodwork, marble fireplaces, arched doorways and etched glass door panels! Our room was exquisite and the breakfast was awesome!

My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night. Not only was the room cozy and warm, Gloria was the most accommodating host. The breakfast was phenomenal and we have nothing but amazing things to say about our stay. We will definitely come again.

I cannot rave about this place enough. Our room was fantastic and our host showed us her culinary skills with a breakfast that was fantastic! It was a weekday and not busy so she gave us a tour of the house. She had a lot of knowledge of the history and it was obvious she loved the structure. I would stay there again and would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat.

My husband and I were here for 2 nights to celebrate his birthday, including the Fireside to see Sound of Music (which was fantastic, by the way!) (The bed-and-breakfast we used to reserve when going to Fireside had permanently closed.) The reviews for Hamilton House were great, so we felt pretty confident booking here. Excited even. It did not disappoint!! This place is amazing!!! Like you’re stepping into the Victorian era—beautiful woodworking throughout (staircase is exquisite), paintings, stunning fireplaces, beautifully and authentically decorated…everywhere! A very serene and peaceful place…a wonderful ‘spirit’ (vibes) about the place. And, meticulously clean!!! We love the special touches like the soft, thick towels (placed everywhere you might need one), bathrobes, a place on either side of the bed for cellphones, plus outlets/extension cords thoughtfully placed, etc. As an added bonus, there’s a rich history to the place, complete with a link to the Underground Railroad (ongoing investigation underway—interesting!). Gloria (the owner) took time to share with us and even gave us a tour! To top off our great experience, the food was 5 star!!! Gloria is a very skilled, highly-trained gourmet chef. For starters, the crêpes were the absolute best either of us have ever tasted! We would highly, highly recommend this place! Looking forward to future stays!!

This home is on the National Historic Homes Registry. It is gorgeous. The innkeeper, Gloria, is amazing. Her attention to detail both in the decor and dining is impeccable. My husband and I came for an anniversary and plan on returning. We drove 4 and a half hours to hang glide. Due to weather complications we couldn’t do that but our stay at the Hamilton House made up for it. The bed, pillows, and linens were luxurious. We enjoyed a glass of wine on the porch. We walked a couple short blocks to an Italian restaurant. We plan on coming back!

I surprised my wife with a weekend here for our anniversary. She’s really into old Victorian homes like this and was blown away. We loved hearing the extensive history of the house from Gloria… you can tell she truly loves what she does! Breakfasts were amazing, room was immaculate. Can’t wait to come back again!

Fantastic food, service, lodging, beds, atmosphere, towels, toiletries, coffee, patio and painted lady coffee porch! Fascinating painted lady historic house, but with new amenities and plumbing! History and art of the house is so interesting and beautiful. Amazing host Gloria, who is a professional chef and superb cook! Generous food portions! Everything about our stay here in July 2022 was superb. Highly recommend! It is 15 minutes from beautiful Kettle Morraine State Park, hiking and mountain biking.
