I cannot believe my plate. I waited patiently in line for my food. I drove all the way home and was prepared for a delicious meal, like in the photos on the menus. Instead of getting sliced meat, I got diced meat and not a lot of it. I will say it tastes great, but for the small portions, I may not go back.

Hole in the wall type of place with delicious chicken and lamb shawarma sandwiches. My husband and I were very content with the sandwich, good price, and were generous with the meat. Loved the atmosphere. Definitely highly recommend for a quick bite to eat!

ALL their food is delicious ,hot, n freshly made .Staff is friendly as can be and always seem to be in a great mood!! Especially Love the falafel and Combo Dinners!!

I've been to The Best Shawarma several times, and throughout that time, I've tried other places, but none can compete or come close to the deliciousness of the shawarma, the generosity of the owner who makes the shawarmas himself, the amount of meat and chicken he puts is incredible, the cleanliness of the place and the affordable prices. I love shawarma and I've tried them not only in Illinois, but also in Texas and California, and this place is by far the best I've eaten at, the closest one to the shawarma in Jordan. Extremely recommend it to anyone who wants a good delicious meal to eat, once you decide to go there, make sure you are hungry, and don't forget to try the french fries and falafels too. Enjoy!!

Food was very delicious, they just added new food to their menu (all halal)I loved the chicken tikka and the burgers were great!! Definitely recommend, going back for sure.

I went to this place with high hopes. I should've read all reviews. The customer service is bad. It is also a cash only spot. We were ignored for the first 5-8 mins of standing there. He completely looked over us until we finally said something. He didn't even speak. That should've been our first sign to leave. The food was dry and had little to no flavor. We love middle eastern food and were very disappointed in the lack of seasoning and over cooked meats. It was an extremely long wait and it was not worth it at all. The hummus was the best thing about this place.Next time we will stick to Hakuna Matata and/or Albawadi where you get great service and delicious food.

Worst shawarma ever . Shame on you . Few small pieces of meat one tomato slice and one onion slice in small peace of bread .will never return even if I'm starving. You may see the whole bread is stuffed but it's tricky how they do it .small part of the bread is stuffed and the rest is only Plain bread .cash only so no proof if something happened to you. not recommended even for pets food .

Let me start off by saying it kills me leaving a 3 star review for this place. The guys in here are the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. We usually order chicken schwarma sandwich meat sandwich and a large rice. I believe it might be the best schwarma and rice around. I consider myself a foodie!! This is where I’m a little uneasy especially having my family been in the restaurant buisness for over 60 years. I understand prices go up. Totally understand that but $9 for rice is absolutely absurd. I couldn’t believe me when he said $9 for the rice. What!! That is price gouging at its best and the tin wasn’t even full not even close. We’re talking rice here folks not meat but rice. Now I’m as honest as they come and I roll tell you I didn’t have enough money because it was usually like $11-$12 for a sandwich and rice. The awesome guy says take it. I hate leaving a 3 star review for such a great place with great people but unfortunately we probably won’t be back just because of the pricing. I will go back to give him what I owe him because I want a small place like this to stay opened. Best of luck!!

We chose this place because of the high reviews but found the food extremely bland and tasteless. Ordered the Jerusalem salad which came in liquid form (I'm not kidding!) and Baba Ghanouj which had no flavor. All I could feel was the sensation of cold food going down my throat. This restaurant is only take-out. They have some tables outside but they're not very clean. Extremely polite service - that's the only positive.

These people are very nice and the food was really delicious! I walked in tired, ate, and left HAPPY! Really enjoyed the mixed Shawarma! Thank YOU so very much. 🙂

Delicious shawarma like an original Ramallah one.

FIRST TIME HERE AND IT WILL NOT BE THE LAST!!! The food was amazing!! The shawrma sandwiches are great for kids it came with a free drink too for less than 10 bucks! the bread did tear a little but no an issue they provided many napkins. The customer service was excellent for a hole in the wall type of business. The kid behind the register was very polite and told me to come back if I needed anything else. Thats the first time i heard that at a arabic place I have no issue with this place.

Strictly a carry out restaurant. Only had a Arabic salad. No lettuce...just sauce tomatoes onions and cucumbers. Reminds me of a side dish like potatoe salad or macaroni salad. I plan to go back and try another item from the menu.

The food is always very good,however, I had a bad experience a couple days ago. I ordered 3 sandwiches and a small order of fries. I waited more than 30 mins and two men who walked in after me received their food before me, they didn't order ahead because I heard them place their order while at the counter. One guy wasn't even charged for his food so I guess he knows the owner. My total came out to about $34 which seemed a bit high for 2 shawarma sandwiches and a falafel sandwich, I didn't get my fries either. I'm not sure if I will return after this experience, I truly believe I was overcharged and for 2 men to get their food before me after I had already been waiting for almost a half hour is unacceptable.

Personell barely speaks english. Ordered 3 shawarma dinners and paid. Turned out they thought it's 3 sandwiches. Had to use the atm when picking up to pay more cash for the dinners (they don't take credit cards). Overall food was pretty good and the portion was huge

Have been coming here for years, and this place has been an absolute banger every single time. Don’t hesitate! You will not find a better shawarma sandwich in the area. I would give 6 stars if I could.

My friend showed me this place a while back & even though I live in Orland Park I would drive for the shawarma sandwich. Truly a quality place! I try to leave an extra tip because they really make sure your food is fresh to order. *Chefs kiss*
