Next up on visiting the beaches on the Jersey Shore is Manasquan Beach. Manasquan has a mile long asphalt boardwalk, not the prettiest, but it is sturdy and has withstood many storms. You can run, walk or ride your bike. There are beautiful homes along the boardwalk, some of them are summer homes. There are places to eat along the boardwalk and there is also an arcade. It's a pretty long beach, nice and clean. There is a playground on the beach. There's a great surfing beach at the Manasquan Inlet. It gets very crowded during the summer and parking can be a challenge. It's very peaceful and relaxing sitting on the benches by the inlet watching the boats go in and out. It's beautiful, especially at sunrise or sunset. There are two popular restaurants at the Inlet, Carlson's Corner and the Riverside Café. There is a dog beach called Fisherman's Cove on 391 3rd Ave in Manasquan. All dogs must be on a leash. You can go fishing and there is a path for walking, but dogs are not permitted on this path. There is plenty of beach for the dogs anyway to enjoy. The only thing that I didn't like was the many pieces of broken glass along the shore line. I did find a scallop shell! I've never seen one this big!

I love this beach. I've gone here two years in a row on a weekend trip from upstate New York. The town is very quaint, quiet and clean. The beach is very well kept. Entrance to the beach is $9 per person age 12+. Kids 11 and younger are free. There is a first aid and restroom near the entrance at Main St. You may have to park a few blocks away on a residential street during the weekend. The beach is mostly lined by houses and only a few small businesses (an arcade, ice cream shop and restaurant). The only downside is that there are no changing rooms and the women's restroom only has 4 stalls. Since I had a 3+ hour drive home with three children, the kids and I took turns going into the restroom one at a time to change out of our swimsuits before the drive, while not hogging the few stalls. Completely worth it though. This beach is quiet, very clean and family friendly.

What's nicer than going to the beach in late October when it's 82 degrees and sunny?

We have only just recently discovered this beautiful beach. We got to Point Pleasant quite late and they wouldn’t let us onto that beach. We were lucky when someone informed us of Manasquan Beach. We googled it and drove just 10 minutes away. This beach is as beautiful as those found in Virginia Beach. It’s a hidden gem! Be prepared to park about a quarter mile away. This tiny village provides no parking, which keeps the traffic low at this beach. Use the bathroom at your hotel, take along your cooler and sunscreen, spend 2 glorious hours at this hidden cove...

Beautiful beach, so clean and the staff were so nice!! The waves 🌊🌊 at this place are insane!! There's a fee to enter the beach and you get a wrist band. Plenty of parking spots that you have to pay online. We had an amazing time!!

Friday, 8:30 am, beams of sunlight on the water, can only hear the sound of waves crashing and the seagulls. We were pleasantly surprised to see 3 dolphins swimming around 10 am, an unforgettable rare moment. Beautiful clean beach and boardwalk, dog park beach just around the corner. Parking is easy if you go early

We enjoy going around 5-6pm and it's pretty much the only beach that lets you in after hours. Gorgeous beach! 🏖️

Great beach area! Came all the way from New York in the end of the hot day. The ocean is warm, a lot of space with a little of people around. There is a place where you can wash your feet and body from the sand and salt. People are nice and friendly! I love it!

Great family beach. No rif raf. No loud boardwalk with unsavory types. Always a great time. Clean nice little town also. No smoking or drinking on the beach which is nice. If adults have a few cold ones and not getting crazy I am sure it is ok. The rules help to keep the literal and figurative trash out. Parking is a real challenge even if you pay. I suggest arriving early...the beach does get very crowded on optimal beach days but worth it to be around other nice families enjoying the water. They do have rules about "tents" also they have to be open for safety...not blocking view of water. Overall just a nice very small hidden gem of a beach ..neighboring sea girt and brille quaint and nice also.

This is the beach I grew up on this is the beach I will always love. Places to eat along the beach that are reasonably priced and an easy blacktop path to walk the length of the beach to the inlet. It's a wonderful place. 🌊

Terrific beach...except no one in any authority...like people taking your money for daily n seasonal beach badges knew anything...like how much a daily pass was for a disabled person...or a person who was 62..or 65..or 5.. price for all those different age and health of those people mentioned, are different prices.. might be a couple good things to know...then tell all the other people taking your money for badges .. just a suggestion.!!!

A beautiful beach town and not too touristy. One of the great beaches on the Jersey shore!

The sand on the beach is so soft with no seaweed or litter. There's pebbles at the shore line that are fun to collect and once past that foot of rubble, soft shallow sand awaits below the waves stretching out a couple yards! The beach is kept clean and the flags on the lifeguard posts show the conditions for safe swimming, boarding, etc. The bathrooms scattered along the path before the beach are nice and I like the shower system they have for rinsing the sand off.

Such a beautiful beach even in the Winter! My Son has brought my Mom and I back home here after moving to Florida 35 long year's ago! Although it was pretty chilly (for us) in Oct. we couldn't have been more excited to visit our beach and beautiful little town! We missed you Manasquan and my Son and I will certainly be back now every year and see if Mom can travel with us again too?!

Manasquan Beach must be one of the clearest ocean waters in New Jersey. No seaweed visible... Just clear & clean. There are public restrooms available, which were also super clean! Had lots of fun snapping pictures of the seagulls.

Such a beautiful quaint beach town! I drove over an hour to pick up vegan desserts for my daughter’s 37th birthday celebration. Papa Ganache is out of this world! I drove around this absolutely beautiful town and I didn’t want to leave. Love it more than the bigger more populated beach towns further south in Jersey. Five stars and more!!!! I’ll be back soon!!
