Saw
a
previous
review
that
mentioned
how
wet
the
wings
are,
I
didn't
quite
understand
it,
but
now
that
I've
eaten
here,
I
get
it.
I
had
wings
with
the
maple
and
horseradish
sauce,
and
tamarind
and
caramel.
The
maple
and
horseradish
was
sickly
sweet,
and
I
couldn't
taste
the
horseradish,
there
was
so
much
sauce
that
the
crispy
coating
on
the
wings
was
soggy.
The
wings
themselves
are
huge,
which
I'd
hope
for
the
price,
but
don't
seem
to
taste
of
anything,
and
they
were
really
wet,
-
and
not
in
a
juicy
way.
Perhaps
they
brined
the
wings
before
frying
but
forgot
to
add
enough
salt?
I
enjoyed
the
tamarind
caramel
wings
more,
as
there
was
less
sauce
which
kept
the
wing
coating
in
tact.
My
guest
had
a
chicken
burger,
which
came
with
a
pretzel
bun
which
had
no
chew
to
it
-
tasted
as
if
it
came
from
the
bakery
at
Sainsburys,
and
wasn't
comparable
to
a
pretzel
at
all.
The
smacked
spuds
were
not
enjoyable.
The
cheese
sauce
was
congealed,
the
addition
of
cheese
and
onion
crisps
was
completely
unnecessary,
and
just
made
everything
taste
like
cheese
and
onion
crisps!
I
think
these
were
fried
but
lacked
a
crisp
exterior.
Perhaps
they
were
having
an
off
night
when
I
visited,
but
I'm
not
in
a
hurry
to
return.
