Love village chip shop, it’s the best chip shop by miles and the food is to die for. I highly recommend this chippy and specifically Carlene for the best customer service!

Busy shop thses guys worked well under pressure Friday keep smiling the staff made me laugh good team work well done food was worth the wait quality seeing how you handle pressure keep it up I would of pulled the shutter down fair play see you next Friday plenty meat on me kebab same time next week village

Visited this evening OMG what’s happened it was crazy no control who was being served and who wasn’t !!! But it seems the telephone orders take priority. Walked out went elsewhere what a shame always had our fish n chips from here. Seems like they have staffing issues young girl like a fish out of water excuse the punn

We had an amazing dinner from The Village yesterday. I made a large order as my family were coming round to open their fast as its Ramadan. Every single item delivered tasted great and was cooked to perfection!! My family (who are fussy) said it was the best fish they had tasted in years! The kebabs were also very well presented and they were plentiful! The staff are so friendly too which was the icing on the cake! So good to have a great chip shop in our village!

Very good to see a range of tasty vegan options - both fish alternatives and vegan pies. I would recommend more vegan/plant-based items, and to remove some of the non-vegan items - society has to transition so let's be proactive about it. Tasty chips!

ordered a kebab and chips. the chips were dry and unseasoned, should probably change the oil and the kebabs had a plasticity taste. disappointed overall

Very pleasant staff with a nice open and cleanly looking kitchen. Great tasting vegan options which is a rarity from chip shops! I appreciate how it was stated many times to other staff members that I ordered the vegan option as they were more cautious regarding contamination.

1st time using village in wall heath. Good portion sizes, quality of food good. Very friendly staff and plenty of locals in there which is always a good sign. Would go back again.

Travelled from Enville, wasn't disappointed. Friendly hardworking staff, great vibe. 1 cod and chips and 1 x masala cod salad and minted sauce. Food excellent.

Took the money , half an hour wait for a battered sausage and a scollop , had full refund . Terrible service will not use again . 2nd visit in total and have waited a long time both visits.

The food was wonderful, fresh, tasty and still hot when delivered by Just Eat. Only downside was it was delayed, but it is a Friday evening so maybe be another night would arrive when they first say? Would definitely use them again when in the area.

Bit of a slight mix up on a delivery order which was dealt with promptly and professionally by Carlene,she is a credit to the chip shop and works wonders on front of shop!! Beautiful food and always spot on!! Defo worth a visit

Just placed an order via uber eats, I wouldn't order again. I had cod and the batter was soggy, nothing crispy about it. Also ordered chicken tikka and chips. The chicken was really oily which went all over the chips. Some of the chips were not cooked so hard. Expensive too £25 with delivery for cod and chip special and chicken meat and chip special. Ordered in error but won't do it again.

Gave it four star's because the food is good,but o my god the service as no organisation at all ,take Ur order then wait around for ages don't know who's next to be served, would have gave it five Star's but for the service sorry.

Order cancelled in the window for delivery between 9:35-9:55 when it had been confirmed before that. If you don't want to take an order why accept it if you will just cancel it when the customer is expecting it for delivery? If you'd had cancelled earlier knowing you wouldn't have fulfilled the order anyway we would've been able to get a chippy from somewhere else but now we can't. If you don't want the custom don't have just eat on?

What a shame!! We used to get really hot, tasty fish and chips from this establishment, but recently (and 'no' I dont think we can blame Covid or Brexit anymore) the produce has been undercooked, tepid and tasteless! We'll be going somewhere else in future!

I always come here, I travel past other chip shops as usually they are top notch , but tonight I was disappointed I ordered a Haddock ( which was freshly cooked) and a portion of curry sauce . However when I got home, the Haddock was a lot smaller than usual , usually it's huge , it had no skin on it like usual the batter was pale , soggy, and had 5 bones in it, one of which I swallowed, and when I opened my curry sauce it was mushy peas, .. not sure if you have changed your Haddock supplier , but certainly not of the usual standard 🤔.. hope you see this as positive feedback, as usually its perfect 👌

Best fish and chips in the local area. Everything is fresh and good sized portions. Friendly staff always make it a pleasure to go collect. Always 10/10 service and food.

My very first visit for some what I must say were very tasty fish 'n' chips, I can only compliment the politeness of the staff, and how very clean the place was. I couldn't award it five stars sadly as much as I'd love to, as the fish which was standing for a while, wasn't as hot as it should have been, but the value was reasonable for the local area. Would be great if they had an online menu that was up to date for both items and prices, on Google or their own website even.

Lovely food! Only downside is the prices keep going up.

I have been using Village Fish & Chips in Wall Heath since they opened and never had a bad meal or ever made a complaint. The food has always been well priced, hot and delicious. The owner and staff members always serve you with a smile and take a real interest in how you're doing. Thanks to you all.

I've ordered on ubereats a few times and I'm yet to be disappointed. I highly recommend the vegan kebab, either as a wrap or in a naan bread. It's exceptional. Salad is super fresh, the vegan meat is delicious. Can't wait to order again!
