I
put
a
refundable
deposit
down
on
a
Shed
on
2nd
of
June
with
a
delivery
and
installation
date
of
the
13th
October.
On
the
13th
of
June
I
discovered
that
I
would
actually
need
planning
permission
as
I
live
in
a
maisonette
rather
than
a
house,
so
traditional
'permitted
development'
doesn't
apply.
I
immediately
contacted
MSS
on
the
14th
June
to
apologise
for
my
mistake
and
ask
for
my
refund,
considering
that
the
shed
wasn't
due
to
be
installed
until
October.
They
agreed,
but
I
have
yet
to
receive
the
refund
over
2
weeks
later.
I
keep
getting
the
response
'Ben
isn't
in,
it
will
be
tomorrow'.
Each
time
I
am
promised
it
will
be
today
or
tomorrow
but
it
never
is.
I
am
giving
them
one
more
week
(in
which
I
will
be
leaving
this
review
everywhere
I
can),
and
if
it
still
isn't
refunded
I
will
then
be
contacting
trading
standards
and
placing
a
claim
in
small
claims
court.
It
shouldn't
have
to
come
to
this.
Oh
and
for
anyone
not
bothered
about
this,
the
actual
process
of
designing
and
paying
for
the
shed
wasn't
very
pleasant
either.
I
had
to
beg
for
an
invoice/quote/document
showing
the
design
so
I
had
it
on
paper.
When
they
finally
obliged
they
had
the
shed
oriented
the
wrong
way
around,
and
didn't
include
some
of
the
extra
options
I
had
requested
(EPDM
Roof,
extra
height).
Communication
was
patchy
and
information
wasn't
very
forthcoming.
So
I
already
wasn't
overly
confident
with
them
even
before
I
cancelled
my
order.
UPDATE
15/07/2021:
I
received
a
call
from
Ben
today.
Pleasant
chap
I
must
say.
He
started
the
call
by
asking
why
I
had
left
a
negative
review.
I
replied
because
I
had
a
negative
experience
and
had
to
chase
the
company
for
a
refund
for
weeks.
He
rightly
pointed
out
that
I
have
received
a
refund
now,
so
I
agreed
that
was
true
and
I
should
update
the
review
to
reflect
that.
So
UPDATE:
I
have
now
received
a
refund
after
a
few
weeks
of
chasing.
However
I
refused
to
remove
the
review
in
it's
entirety
despite
numerous
requests
from
Ben
to
do
so.
Everything
in
my
review
is
truthful
and
represents
my
real
experience,
so
why
would
I
remove
it?
He
went
on
to
say
that
the
reason
I
didn't
get
a
refund
was
because
he
was
ill
and
was
not
in
the
office.
I
find
this
hard
to
believe
because
several
times
I
called
the
office
and
the
receptionist
said
he's
in
today,
I'll
talk
to
him
today
and
we'll
get
the
refund
processed.
As
you
can
tell
by
the
original
review
this
never
happened.
And
even
if
it
was
true,
he
should
have
authorised
someone
else
to
make
the
refund.
Your
business
can't
just
grind
to
a
halt
because
you
are
ill.
He
then
went
on
to
say
he
would
get
his
lawyers
involved
if
I
don't
remove
the
review,
at
which
point
I
said
to
not
blackmail
me.
The
call
ended
with
him
saying
he
would
smash
my
face
in
and
that
he
knows
where
I
live.
I
thought
the
company
was
bad
before
but
you
can
imagine
what
I
think
now.
