Great staff who know what customer service is about. They create the atmosphere and it’s clear there are many regulars (which now includes me.) Lovely coffee and cakes that are a mix of old and new flavours. The first time I have ever been asked to try a small piece of a couple of cakes to see what I think. Lovely concise menu and good pricing. They also understand portion control; not too much on the plate, just right. Oh… and did I mention the Bakewell Tart? 😇👍. UPDATE 6th September 2023… still as good as when I first went a couple of years back. Consistently good food and sensible prices. Customer service is excellent without being overbearing. Always recommended. 👍

Lovely cafe from the outside with seating. Plenty of seats inside, very well decorated, good menu choices, very friendly staff. The first time visited, but we'll be worth another visit.

Had breakfast there with my wife this morning. How did I not know this place was on my doorstep! Superb breakfast! Great coffee! Great prices! Excellent service! Very nice inside, a lot of thought and consideration has gone into the layout and interior and exterior. You don't feel like you are on top of each other like some places. There is also seating outside the front and back for when the weather is just right! This has now gone to the top of my list for cafés! 100% will be back!

Went for afternoon tea. Omg amazing. Food was beautifully presented and very filling. Had another to go as they couldn't come so took one out and again couldnt believe how it was presented. Staff are so friendly very attentive. Love this place . Would definatley advise a visit.

Really lovely and friendly café. Me and my son had hot drinks and cake and they were delicious. Only popped in as we were collecting school uniform a couple of doors down,but we'll definitely be back again. Next time I'm going to try breakfast as I wasn't aware they did hot food as we just walked in and saw the counter full of delicious looking cakes.

I ordered 2 afternoon tea’s for Saturday as an anniversary gift. On collection they were boxed carefully and the staff were careful to tell me how they had been packed . The savoury and sweet selection was beautiful. Fresh and tasted great. Plenty in each box and I was really pleased with them. I already visit for coffee and cake and would now also highly recommend the afternoon tea’s. Thank you for your brilliant service and attention to detail. Will definitely be ordering them again. Absolutely lovely coffee shop 😍 food and drinks are delicious. We have been twice now and we'll be coming back. Staff are so friendly and the coffee shop has a lovely cosy feel to it.

Such a nice place I would recommend to anyone wanting to have a good time. Great atmosphere and lovely ppl. Great staff always friendly and polite and the price is good too and the food is 12/10. I went in the other day and asked for my tea to be warmed up so they offered me a new pot of tea on the house. Then the owner offered my daughter a new drink too. Never disappointed here ☺️

One of my favourite cafes, staff are welcoming. Great choice of drinks and a delicious range of cakes. Yes, I think I've tried them all at one point. Nice area to sit outside in the warm weather too. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

We came to Evoke for the quiz night and had an absolutely wonderful time. Came dead last but had such a laugh. We will definitely be coming again if you do it again. We had the 3 plates of food for £12 and the whole lot was demolished, very enjoyable, great value for money. would definitely recommend. We also had a range of drinks from alcoholic, frappes and ofc coffees (cause some of us were driving) all very lovely and again all good value for money. Thank you to all of the staff that were working last night, with special mentions to Ann marie, Tess and Nikki who all did a fantastic job in making the evening run so smoothly I.m.o.

Blessed to have this on our doorstep here in Wolverhampton 🙏🏻 It is such a friendly, welcoming and cosy eatery. There is a wonderful covered courtyard area out back, that is lovely to sit out in all seasons and a sectioned off seated area at the front which is lovely to make use of during milder weather. The staff are all wonderful, even when you dash in five minutes before the kitchen closes of Christmas Eve desperately wanting/needing your favourite tuna, cheese melt panini 😋🙏🏻 Their cakes are homemade and simply to die for ❣️ Twinkle lights adorn the place and I love the quirky phrases in the form of pictures etc. just a wonderful place to eat with friends or alone and watch the world go by for awhile!

A quaint little tea house with beautiful china cups plates and teapots. The sandwiches are good variety, cakes soft and tasty and scones are filled with jam and yummy cream. We four aged ladies enjoyed our catch up and will return.

Nice for an evening private hire venue (minus food) with comfy courtyard area out the back. Lovely, clean and cosy venue for a small family party. Staff were friendly and helpful through the event too.

Weekly spot for work catch up, mid morning or lunch. Eggs royal are the best, cake selection will blow your mind. Super friendly staff, excellent coffee selection and alternative milks, loyalty card for drinks. Fabulous gem of an independent coffee shop.

Mouth watering cake, amazing choices for savoury food. I had the chicken and bacon panini, but the poached eggs looked amazing, the bounty milkshake was so heavenly and they even added espresso for this caffeine addict to get me through the afternoon work slog after leaving their lovely outside area where I could have stayed all afternoon!

Had a lovely lunch with friends today to celebrate my friends 60th. Food was beautiful. Lots of yummy cake. And cater for gluten free too! Will definitely be going there again. Reasonable prices too! Staff are lovely

Really nice place, staff were friendly and welcoming as soon as we walked in and the coffee and food was brought to us really quick as well. It's bigger than you think as there's seating out the back as well as in front and inside but even though we got there not long after opening by the time we was leaving the place had started to fill up and it was easy to see why. We can't wait to go back again soon maybe a good excuse to walk the dog that way 👍☕

Came here for brunch with a friend and it was lovely. Great coffee and cake. The staff were really nice and it had such a good atmosphere. If I lived closer, I would certainly come here more often. It was quite busy when we came (midweek, late morning), so next time I'd reserve a table just to make sure I didn't miss out.

A wonderful assortment of hot and cold drinks as well as lovely sweet cakes and pastries. I can especially recommend the frappuccinos and milkshakes, delicious!

Fun, local coffee/ tea shop with breakfast, lunch and cakes. Great decor and even a sheltered, outdoor space in the back. Friendly and helpful staff! It's been recommended to us by several friends and now we know why. Liked the way they separated the front, outdoor eating space from the regular pedestrians... clever and upcycling!

Whilst the aesthetics are nice and the staff are friendly, unfortunately the food was not that exciting. I had the eggs royale, there just was not much to it and the muffins were dry, my egg had shells in it and the salmon was also dry and there was very little of it. I asked for my hollandaise sauce separately which was a good idea as it had too much vinegar and would have possibly ruined my food. I had some extra sausages which were pretty standard. I did however like my caramel frappucino, save for the cream on top which tasted a bit odd. My family had the breakfast, but they were also not very impressed. There cakes did look very good, but I did not get one on this trip. I think if I was to visit again it would be for a cake and a drink.

Prettily decorated tea room/coffee shop. Large range of brunch items on the menu. There is outdoor seating at the front for good weather and a covered and heated outdoor seating area at the back. Afternoon tea parties can be booked. Food is good. Service is very good.

Staff very helpful and friendly. The coffee was excellent. The cake looked and tasted delicious. I didn't partake but some full English came out and looked brilliant

Visited Evoke for the first time last week and was not disappointed! I went for the Eggs Benedict and it was perfectly cooked and well presented. My husband can highly recommend the pancakes with bacon & Maple syrup which he said were delicious. Our tea & Latte were piping hot and we could not fault the staff who were friendly and very welcoming. I enjoyed it so much that i have visited again for coffee and cake :) Definitely one of my go to cafes now.

It's about time I posted a review as we are local and visit as often as we can. We are so fortunate to have such a super place on our doorstep, just a short walk away. I cannot fault it, every time we come, the staff are efficient, food consistently excellent, menu varied, cakes delicious.
