The
staff
need
to
be
re-trained
by
either
Rebecca
or
Josh,
as
their
friendliness
and
professionalism
were
exceptional.
Sadly,
the
rest
of
the
staff
were
either
too
busy
on
their
phones
to
even
acknowledge
us,
or
they
walked
around
looking
very
grumpy
and
unhappy.
The
hotel
is
in
a
great
location
with
spectacular
views
but
this
pales
into
insignificance
when
you
get
inside
the
rooms.
I
stayed
in
room
18
which
contained
a
lot
of
shabby,
dark-stained
furniture.
The
walls
were
painted
a
very
depressing
shade
of
brown
and
large
chunks
of
plaster
were
knocked
off
the
wall.
The
sealant
around
the
bath
were
covered
in
what
looked
like
black
mould.
Out
of
the
three
windows
in
the
room,
only
one
opened
which
meant
it
was
unbearably
stuffy
and
very
uncomfortable
to
sleep
in.
The
mattress
is
well
past
its
sell
by
date
and
sagged
badly,
giving
very
little
support
and
was
very
uncomfortable.
Due
to
the
total
lack
of
chairs
in
the
room,
guests
are
forced
to
sit
on
the
bed
which
isn't
ideal.
On
the
plus
side,
the
room
was
clean
and
reasonably
spacious.
The
breakfast
was
excellent
and
plentiful
with
a
variety
of
choice,
served
in
the
dining
room
which
had
great
views
over
the
countryside.
Plenty
of
parking
with
designated
disabled
spaces
and
a
few
electric
vehicle
charging
points
-
it
even
has
a
helicopter
landing
place!
Disregarding
the
shabby
room
and
the
decor,
I
had
a
very
enjoyable
experience
which
was
vastly
improved
by
Rebecca
who
was
exceptionally
friendly,
helpful
and
professional
throughout.
Thanks
very
much
Rebecca
