Tap & Bottles

Bar Pub Beer store

👍👍 Lovely little place, just had a double gray goose vodka and bottled coke and you can tell why it £38 a bottle to buy in shops. That is one gorgeous vodka. Very friendly staff, and a huge selection of beers and stuff in large bottles. There is also seating upstairs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Despite my following report, this is one of favourite bars in Southport, but only for the beers & juke box (some great tunes) The bar itself is a little dull & dingy with a touch of rough & readiness about it. Odd furniture, broken light fittings, ill fitting woodwork & generally unkempt feel to it. That said it probably has the best (non generic) real ale selection in the town. So if beer is your thing, then im sure you'll find something here to your liking. The toilets are upstairs and like the rest of the bar are due a much needed "make over" The place was tatty, the sink was hanging off the wall, there was no toilet paper or waste bin, so I hate to think what they're like on a busy Saturday night. The sad thing is, the beers were spot on, its just the rest the bar that is in desperate need of some TLC.

A quirky, cosy and unique craft beer bar tucked on a side street and well worth seeking out. A bewildering array of ales on taps or in refrigerators loaded with cans and bottles from a wide range of brewers and styles. Something for everyone! Many sold in halves or third pints due to strength or cost, but a handful of tap session ales too. Found the staff somewhat indifferent on our visit and overall the place needs some TLC especially the poor state of the toilets upstairs. But beer was excellent and would recommend.
