A small local café with a great selection of food and drink. Bex are all about quality and care, which you rarely find with some of the larger, multi-chain cafés (i.e. Costa/Starbucks). I highly recommend you visit Bex and in such difficult times, show support for local business!

Got a small Breakfast which was a good portion size and very good value. The coffee was lovely too. Just note that it was cash or bank transfer only.

A group of 6 went for the first time today we were seated upstairs. We ordered vegetarian breakfast..I didn't want tomotoes or mushroom so was subsisted for an extra halloumi slice. Veg sausages were amazing! We all Enjoyed the food it was hot and delicious... only slight nighle would be 1 egg isn't enough definitely need 2! Also don't margarine the toast...butter please! Oat latte was delicious...the coffee definitely has flavour. We would definitely return..CASH ONLY or Bank transfer accepted!

Went here for a coffee and a meeting with a colleague. Really nice flat white, can't really comment on the food as didn't have anything but what I seen coming out to others looked really nice. Maybe next time I'll try some.

First timer and found the breakfast very filling as had to finish my daughter's aswell. Very friendly customer service.

Initially went for a coffee and noticed they do brekky until 2pm so stayed for breakfast. Very welcoming, we had our baby with us and they sorted a high chair and better seating for that. Ordered coffee and food, excellent service all round and good value for the price...only down side we couldn't pay by card!! 😳

They don’t take card. It’s cash or bank transfer only. There is no internet signal there so you have to use their Wi-Fi which actually doesn’t work!! Its 2023 I just want to enjoy a brew without this kind of hassle. Won’t return.

A cute lil cafe just outside Huddersfield. Unfortunately, at the time of this review, they don't yet take card payments, so its a cash only cafe. It's a little inconvenient if you don't happen to carry cash at the time. Fortunately, a cash machine is nearby. Cappuccinos are good!

Cheap grotesque brown sauce served in HP bottles! Scam. The sausages were cheap and didn't fill the bread cake- quarter of the sandwich just bread and margarine. Nasty tasting coffee. Will certainly not return. Despite this, staff were friendly.

Lovely little coffee and eating place. They roast their own coffee beans, which you can buy to take home. Coffee and food was delicious. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Obviously passionate about all the different sources and tastes of the beans too. Will definitely go back. BTW its cash only

Have lived near Bexs since 2018 and have never had a bad experience here. The coffee is great, breakfasts are spot on, and the cake is invariably delicious and served in huge portions!

Great little place, and the Fresh coffee is fantastic. They offer a huge selection of coffee beans. Reasonably priced as well.

1st visit to this recommended cafe and Good gosh! What a set of miserable girls ever. No atmosphere at all in the cafe! No small talk, nothing. Dont deserve customers!

Visited on 20th Sept 2022. Birthday brunch with the family for our youngest and tallest daughter. FABULOUS vegan breakfast! C'mon folks you've got to come and eat here!

Lovely bacon and sausage sandwich. My Americano was large, but it was weak and tasteless....I left most of it. All around the cafe is coffee grinding machines and sacks of coffee beans. So I thought the coffee would be top notch......I was very disappointed. To sum up.....Good food, poor coffee.

Food was good. Information is wrong on the Facebook website. Cards not accepted. The knife was greased and had finger prints on it. Next time I will try a different cafe...

Very very disappointed, overpriced average food purchased from Aldi down the road and they have the nerve to charge Costa prices!! Cakes are NOT home made but in a factory, very dishonest! We are in a recession, yet these lot are ripping off working class folk. I wish I had taken pictures of what I witnessed! Use tinned tomatoes which they microwave in front of your eyes, to make matters worse they refuse to take card payments, be warned. I had to rush to the cash machine to pay for my dinner, no better than average and cost £20 for 2 ppl!!! Highly disappointed as I like supporting local businesses. Would I come again, certainly not.

First visit and it was bustling, seems quite family orientated. A nice energy about the place. I may go back, coffee was nice. Passing breakfasts looked like a good plateful. A bit like breakfast in Hobbiton, where all the food got eaten and no plates got broken.

Would be a 0 star tbh Asked for a sausage and egg with ketchup.... So what is this 🤔 I cant even eat bacon They also got 2 other sandwiches wrong Avoid if you have dietary requirements...

Best coffee weve had in ages. One of the staff even showed kids a sack of raw coffee beans and explained the coffee making process which facinated the kids. Really friendly i would recommend the coffee of course generous size cups/mugs too and the cannolli after that your too full for anything else.

Beautiful little artisan cafe. Came in with a 2 year old and the team helped and we're attentive to cooler hot choc and having to distract with the phone. Gorgeous decor and great coffee. A Hudds hidden gem for some. Go and see for yourselves. The Bannermans. X

Great place and great people, breakfast was wonderful, they have a great selection of cakes as well, coffee was a little mild, so for me it isn't the best as I prefer bolder flavors. All in all a wonderful place and would recommend.

Really impressed. Nice cafe well decorated and clean - My full English was lovely - quality tasty food with nice presentation, one friend had the soup & toastie with hot drink deal and it looked amazing great value for money staff were welcoming. Other friend had the chicken flatbread which looked great. Can pay cash or bank transfer no card payments tho
