Andeep is an amazing host! As he likes to describe himself - “A biker and a cook”, he’s bloody good at both! Top man, amazing food and an amazing ambiance defines an awesome evening!

Went to a party which was held in the function room. The party host had ordered several dishes including two types of rice basmati and another including nuts which I didn't try. The curry selection included chicken tikka pieces, lamb Rogan Josh a vegetable dish and a delicious dish called Everest chicken. The main restaurant is very eclectic with two large motorbikes as part of the decoration. I did like at the main door a display showing the ingredients so that allergens could be identified. Did visit the toilets and they certainly fit in with the decor theme as the ladies are bright red, but are clean. The staff were very polite friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The buffet lunch on Sunday appears very popular. Looking forward to going back to try the main menu.

I have visited with family today at Gurkha kitchen for dinner after long travel from Peak District. This is my probably third time . Never thought to write something about this place but today I should say few words about this awesome place . 1. Atmosphere around dinning area makes us happy that I can’t see like any other restaurant. Feels like I am some where in Nepal . Every time visit this restaurant I keep looking every corner and pics . They have put their heart in it . It makes me feels like I am in home . I am writing few words not only because of me . My mom dad and my wife they also amaze that they could find like this place very rarely. Let’s talk about food ,we have had chicken ,Lamb ,daal rice Naan and roti basic food normally we eat home but we have find that food has been made full of heart as home made does . I recommend this place for amazing food and classic atmosphere.

What a fantastic welcome & atmosphere. Absolutely stunning. The Owner is the head chef & a biker. His cooking skills are lovely the taste took me on the ride to Nepal. Absolutely loved it. Sekuwa & chilli king prawn starters were finger licking good. Lekali Chicken is my most fav dish now. I suggest you to go and try Andeep’s food. You won’t be disappointed.

Nice ambience. Nice food. We went for the Sunday buffet. Would definitely love to try the daily menu too. The naan was really yummy. My 2 year old liked it a lot. Different chicken dishes served in Indian restaurants usually tend to taste the same. Here there were 4 chicken dishes and all tasted different and good. I was wondering why I didn't hear about this place till now. Also, there is a lot of car parking space in that compound. I think this is a must try for people in Nottingham.

Pre-booked and had a spacious corner table reserved. Quirky restaurant with high ceilings and a mix of decorations, including traditional Nepali garments, Harley bikes and memorabilia etc. Service prompt and the buffet offered a variety of options. Always refilled, and staff were careful to keep area clean. The buffet was very tasty, with a variety of meat, mainly chicken, and one lamb, and several vegetarian options. The Dall was excellent as weee several of the Nepalese chicken dishes. Among the best naan bread and poppadoms we have tasted in a long time.

Lovely food in lovely restaurant. Our waitress was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu. A mix of Nepalese and the typical Indian food, I tried something Nepalese and loved it. I asked for it to be hot and it was a good heat. Owners are obviously motorbike and adventre fanatics as the decor houses lovely photos of their bike adventures over worldwide locations. Spoke with the chef and he was warm, welcoming and friendly. Delightful experience and highly recommended

We took our grandchildren to the Sunday buffet today. Staff are great and the food was wonderful. Due to unforeseen circumstances it's been a while since we visited and everything was just as good as it's always been. Can't wait to come again.

Due to a hospital appointment and having to stay overnight we picked Gurka Kitchen for our evening meal and are glad we did having travelled from the Mablethorpe area. The restaurant was clean, tidy and warm. We had the Sunday Buffet. Only a small selection but everything was hot, tasty and plentiful. Nothing on the buffet disappointed. The freshly prepared nan bread was lovely and soft. Lassi was our choice of refreshment and again well-prepared and tasty. If we lived in the area we would definitely eat here regularly.

Only ever been for the Sunday lunch but the buffet they have is always great. They handle large parties keep the food fresh and hot and cook ANY fresh naans for you for a bit extra.

Exceptional food and service. Amazing atmosphere and the whole restaurant truly reflects the Nepalese culture. The entry felt like entering a temple, the decoration represented the diversity of Nepalese culture and the Harley’s reflected the passion and dedication of Andeep and his success in representing Nepal in worldwide platform. Will never miss the opportunity to visit Gurkha kitchen when visiting Nottingham.

I've ordered here a few times and the chicken has always been perfect but i ordered a chicken bhuna last night and the chicken texture was horrible it was like biting into bacon fat, i literally couldn't eat it, i didn't know what to make of it so i gave it my mum to try and later that night she puked 4 times.

Nice decor, ambiance and all. Staff all seemed helpful and pretty efficient. We went for the buffet which seemed all of a good quality and was tasty.

Fabulous food. Not your average indian, the menu is different as it has the Napolese twist which made a nice change. Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere I would recommend.

So I’m assuming the overpriced food we all pay for goes towards listening to world war 3 for over 10 minutes on New Year’s Eve? Absolutely disgusting. I’m all for a good time but that is just beyond a joke. Get a grip and take people’s feelings and animals into consideration. Will not be coming to this place again
