Wow… some of the best Turkish food I’ve had in Sheffield/Chesterfield. Complimentary bread and olives which were so tasty. We asked for a starter selection of bread and dips and we were not disappointed. I opted for the Adana main which is a minced lamb kebab, with rice, bread and salad - it’s a big menu so if you’re stuck and you like Lamb.. go for it you won’t regret it! Attentive service, very friendly staff and the venue is good too. I will be back here. Worked out at £145 for four of us with starters, mains, a bottle of wine and a few beers so pretty good value.

Fantastic food and service, visited with the wife and son today and we all really enjoyed our meal. All the staff are really friendly and offer great service. I had the mixed grill personality and it was a lovely variety of meat. Tasty olives and bread brought to us as an appetiser while looking at the menu. Efes draught beer too washed the food down nicely.

Travelled quite far to visit this restaurant, much needed as missed breakfast so went for starters as well as the main. All food came very fresh and we'll prepared. Decent portion sizes and for the quality of the food very well priced. O like the restaurant playing authentic music to give the Turkish atmosphere. Parking out front along the street also. Choose pide for starter which came quite quickly and the bread was light and not gummy. Meat tasted fresh too. The iskender kebab was very tasty and the meat was full of flavour not always the case with Turkish restaurants.

Very nice food indeed, had around 8-10 take away from here and the consistency of the food here is next level. Always right on point. Recommend the mix grill and a mixture of the cold starters. Makes for a fantastic meal - Bravo! LOVE AFATS!!! 🇹🇷

It was an amazing surprise. The food is mind blowing. The plate was very colourful with lots of salad, tomatoes cooked in fire, chicken juicy and tender and has the smoky flavour of being cooked in fire. Words cannot describe the taste we had Must go restaurant. We are going back for sure again….

Very generous portion size, freshly prepared food, friendly staff and nice cosy atmosphere. Dish - Lamb Shish, cubes of tender lamb cooked over char grill, nice smokey BBQ flavour.

Popped in on a Tuesday evening with the missus for a meal and was very contented!! Two great plates of food, we shared the Afat Mixed Grill and the Spicy Chicken and enjoyed every morsel...crispy salads, perfectly grilled, succulent meat dishes and some authentic flavours! Will definitely visit again with the kids and the service was polite, attentive and a good compliment to a great meal.

After being recommended by work colleagues who had recently been here,it was decided to give Afats Grill a try for a Christmas meal outing .The lunch time booking was made by our company for our party group of 8.The restaurant inside seating area was very clean & spacious with a few tables outside on the narrow decking area at the front for when the weather is nice.The Staff on duty were very welcoming & pleasant throughout our visit.After viewing the extensive choices available on the menu,our drinks & main meal orders were taken (nobody went for a starter)..A couple of complementary olives/gherkins plates with warm bread slices in baskets were then kindly provided .The Main Meals came along which were very tasty huge portions which everyone enjoyed.The dessert menu was requested but It was a shame as I myself didn't have any room afterwards for a pudding,4 others in the group did & their choices looked very nice .In general everyone did enjoy the occasion.I would also recommend a visit, maybe its not the cheapest of places to dine out at & you can be over faced by the massive portions but the dishes were very delicious.Payments can be made by cash or card.

If you haven't eaten here yet you're missing out. Excellent food, and make sure to try the Turkish beer its very good!

we had a great experience here. Service was friendly and attentive, food is tasty and fresh and the portion is quite big. They also gave a free basket of bread on arrival which is nice. the restaurant is reasonably priced. The only thing I didn’t like is the menu as it looked quite old and weary which doesn’t make it very nice to touch and read. Other than that it was an overall good experience.

Food is absolutely amazing. The lower rating is really only due to the service (or lack of!). Had to keep going to the till to find the waiter. The waiters could really do with some more customer service skills - it's free and nice to smile and make your customers feel welcome.

Been here quite a few times now and the food is absolutely beautiful cooked perfectly and the staff are so friendly and lovely they can't do enough for you so I'd definitely give them 5/5* I highly recommend

Decided to eat here after reading an article in the Derbyshire times and wasn't disappointed. I had the Dana and the mince was so moist and tender. My husband had the spicy chicken and he said it was the best chicken he had eaten!

Called Wednesday evening, no table booked but there was plenty of availability. Service was good by friendly staff. Food was excellent, well presented and plenty of it. Can see why the reviews for this restaurant are so high. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again soon. Thankyou.

Fantastic food. Picked up a takeaway the first time and the plates coming out of the kitchen were all very tempting. Had a delivery tonight and it was stunning. Great service. Great food. Not cheap but not expensive, and great value. Gonna be a regular customer in future, for sure.

Went here for my nephews birthday. Food is fresh, delicious and very generous proportions. Service efficient, and great atmosphere. Very good value for money. 1st time here and won't be the last. 5 stars all round

Well worth a visit to this part of town for a meal at Afat's Grill. Went with my partner this evening. Wow, amazing gem of a place. Fantastic food, lovely staff, relaxed atmosphere, spotlessly clean. The best restaurant in the area, highly recommended.

Lunchtime delight. We had a great time eating out at Afat's Restaurant. The food was incredible, the service was discrete, friendly and professional. I had the Afat"s Grill which was for me an excellent choice, as each mouthful (and there were plenty of mouthfuls) was a delight. I will not need to eat for a week. Try the Ottoman coffee for a sweet treat if you are struggling (like I was), to eat a dessert. All I can say to the staff at Afat's Restaurant is thank you all for making our lunch so special.

FANTASTIC restaurant. Really friendly staff, really nice and clean. Free appetisers on arrival which was delicious, we had the a starter each and a main each they were both fantastic. We had spicy chicken and a afats mixed grill, the meats were fantastic and so tender. The rice and salad was also really really nice and plenty of food as well. You won't leave hungry, can't wait to return.

This is a fabulous Turkish restaurant with superb decor, lovely staff and AWESOME tasting dishes which are generously portioned.

Excellent restaurant. As a vegetarian the food quality was amazing. There is limited choice regarding the mains, however there are many many starters/sides which all taste delicious. Thumbs up 👍🏻

Afats for us in at short notice on xmas eve table for 20 the waitresses were lovely and friendly nothing was too much trouble the food was amazing as always thank you so much xx

Amazing food, tastes really smoky grilled and portion was too much for a person. Altogether, nice experience.
