This eye test was my first experience of the store. The appointment was easy to arrange and the eye appointment was on time, efficient and wholly professional throughout. After thinking I had just slightly scratched my eye during some DIY, I decided to book an eye test appointment at Boots Opticians in Congleton to get a proper look at it. The eye test was all done perfectly, the staff were polite and kind. I then met Gill who had a look at my eye properly and found that there was something stuck in it quite deep. She did an amazing job with removing the substance from my eye without it hurting and she kept me very calm throughout the process. This saved me a trip to A&E! I’m so grateful for Gill’s help and also for booking a follow up appointment with me to check everything has healed ok. I will definitely be using this opticians from now on ☺️

Visited Boots Opticians in Congleton to day on an emergency , requiring a photo to be taken at the back of my eyes . A very lovely and caring young man Josh answered the phone , He put me at my ease and got me booked in straight away , All the staff are very welcoming and after Josh had taken the photos. Jill the optician discussed the results .Jill very quickly put my mind at rest ,nothing abnormal seen , I was so relieved. Josh then went on to help me choose a new pair of sunglasses , with the correct Lens for me . A very worrying day turned out OK. Thank you so much everyone , Jill , Josh ,and Boots Congleton. I’ve been coming here for the last few years for various things and every time I’ve been in it’s been an efficient and enjoyable experience Picked up new glasses earlier this week and Laura who served me was lovely to talk to. Very friendly and helped adjust the glasses to suit me better. I was in and out in the space of 10 minutes. All staff from previous appointments have been just as good too. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the surrounding area

CAMILA…. I live in the States and had an eye exam prior to leaving for a UK visit. There were significant changes in my vision and with my prescription, but not enough time to get new glasses prior to my departure. Camila was a tremendous help and made it a seamless process to get new glasses in UK. I picked up my glasses today and couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you Camila.

I usually go to the eye hospital for care, however due to backlogs I can’t get an appointment. I went to boots expecting the quick usual eye test. That’s not what happened. The optometrist spent 1 hour performing every single test on my eyes, in so much detail, with genuine interest and care. All the staff in boots opticians were fantastic. If you need an optician go here, the staff make this place. Seriously impressed!

I recently had appointments at Boots Opticians in congelton. The optician was very comprehensive in checking the health of my eyes with an onward follow up made at the eye clinic. There was an excellent range of glasses to choose from. I was looked after and guided in my choice of glasses by Camila, what an asset to the company she is! She was patient, provided just the right amount of advice and guidance and gave an outstanding experience. Thank you Camila!

Had my annual check with Boots Opticians in Congleton and found that not unexpectedly I needed new glasses. The service provided was excellent, the staff were most helpful and explained each procedure in detail from helping me with choosing new frames and explaining the various lenses. The optometrist was also very helpful and answered all my questions regarding reactive lenses and many more questions I was unsure of. One of the most unusual things she did was coming to the waiting area and introducing herself and escorting me to the examination room, what a nice gesture that was. Finally I am not a new customer, been coming here for many years, having tried the rest will stick with the best. Congratulations.

Gillian (optician) is great, quick and accurate eye test and will explain and show photos taken to assure all is well! A very professional and friendly opticians. The staff were helpful and Nicole was extremely helpful, especially when it came to choosing new frames. The equipment is very up to date and the shop is very clean.

It feels strange having to have the door unlocked to let you in, but there is a friendly welcome inside and it felt a safe and secure environment. Nikki did my initial assessment and retinal scan, explaining everything as she went along. I only had a short wait to see my optician, Farah. She was very professional and thorough in her assessment, even picking up the muscle weakness in one eye. She checked to make sure I understood the tests and what they were doing and explained the retinal scan images to me and what she could tell from it. With my new lens prescription I went to see Arifa who helped me choose frames to suit my face and chosen lenses. Nothing was too much trouble, even though the pile of frames to be cleaned soon mounted up. She explained the pricing clearly and made sure I was happy with the total cost before completing the order. Arifa even noticed that my Clubcard points hadn't been added automatically although she had put my Clubcard on the order. I am very happy with my experience yesterday and will certainly continue to go there.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Optometrist, Gillian was very professional, easy to talk to and thorough. Mark then gave me good advice about which glasses suited me and would work well with my new lenses. I am very happy with my new glasses. I would highly recommend this opticians.

Excellent service from start to finish. Broke my glasses they fitted me in for an eye test the following day. Farah the optician did a thorough eye test doing an extra examination on the mole on my eye. A lovely lady called Gail then helped me choose new glasses nothing was too much trouble. On top of that a text message this morning to say they were all ready for collection only 2 days after id been for my test. Fantastic team & service thank u so much. Fantastic and thorough eye test carried out today by Arifa. She put me at ease straight away. Fantastic service after by Camila who helped me to choose frames. She was very knowledgeable when explaining the difference varifocals,price and tints. Nothing was too much trouble in Congleton today. I called in with a pair of varifocals that I had purchased last year from Boots in Sandbach. My glasses needed adjusting as they kept falling down my nose and needed repositioning every time I looked down. That's a bit of nuisance for an undertaker, with some of the activities we have to do! I was greeted by friendly staff, who adjusted my spec's there and then. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes and with no charge! Great service, from a friendly team. I shall be back later in the year when my eyes need checking again. Many thanks.

As a new client at Congleton branch I found the team efficient from the outset . I had a comprehensive check on my eyes and I felt confident that when I received my new prescription it was going to be accurate . Beth was extremely helpful throughout, answering any questions that I had and assisting me with frame and lens choice and I received them within a week . Brilliant service .

I am posting for my wife, Emma Peake who doesn't have a smart phone. We visited Boots Opticians in Congleton yesterday and was given the most excellent service from the staff there, especially Beth. We have both been before, which is why we returned for an eyetest and new glasses. I personally have purchased several pairs of glasses there, and always been really happy to be looked after again by Beth. Indeed, we look no further than Boots Opticians in Congleton for anything optical from eyedrops, to lens wipes, and, of course, specticals!

Following a complete health anxiety meltdown, the staff were really approachable and helpful to settle my anxiety for what turned out to be a small scratch to one of my eyes. Gill was a wonderfully kind optician, who explained everything she was doing, looking for and explained follow up care for my injury. Camila was just as lovely able to change my appointment to a triage instead of an eye test which I booked online. She was really understanding and when anxious kindness like this is worth it's weight in gold. Thank you ladies, I appreciate the kindness, understanding and care given to me today.

Such helpful staff. I needed to order extra contact lens to get me through Christmas but had left it too late to order for delivery by then. Staff very kindly gave me a fee trial pack of my prescription to see me through until delivery date. Thank you so much. Hope you all have a great Christmas

I had a problem with my eye and wanted to get it checked. I just walked into my local Boots optician and they were great, they had me booked in the next available slot an hour later and the optician was so lovely and took a lot of time taking the history and checking my eyes and made me the appropriate referral AND it was all covered under the NHS because it was a health issue. So pleased and relieved!

With just days to go until my holiday, the arm on my sunglasses started to wobble. Vinay was absolutely brilliant. In just five minutes, my glasses were fixed FREE of charge! What a superb store and colleague.

Fantastic service today. Firstly I had damaged my glasses which were under insurance and so they are being replaced at no cost to me. Secondly, I mentioned that I was having problems driving at night when I see double sets of headlights. I was immediately seen by an optician who checked my eye health and prescription. Both members of staff were very helpful and reassuring. Thank you.
