I found Iain on a google search. I was hoping to remodel a few pieces which I didn’t wear anymore but had sentimental value to me. I wanted to create a special piece I could be proud of and wear with pride. From the first visit, where we talked and drew designs, through continuous updates and virtual images sent to me, regular updates, I was very impressed with the overall process. Iain even sourced a new central sapphire as the existing one from an old piece unfortunately had a crack in from the original inset work many years ago. I then had a message that the ring was ready for collection! I couldn’t wait to collect my new piece. Being overwhelmed and quite emotional is not an exaggeration as my new ring exceeded all my expectations. Iain’s professionalism and customer service is top star and I am very happy to recommend him to all my friends and colleagues. I will most definitely be back for more work as the opportunity arises. Really easy, great service and a fantastic end product from Iain. I was set on particular materials and after an initial chat on design and the implications of using said materials we agreed on a design. Logistically especially with the pandemic it wasn't possible to visit Iain but it made no difference we shared pictures via whatsapp before agreeing on the design and then 5/6 weeks later it arrived! Couldn't be happier with hte ring. I would highly recommend.

I found a wedding ring I liked on the high street however they didn’t stock my size. Iain was recommended to me by a friend and he created a far better version of the wedding ring I’d seen, in terms of quality and appearance. Ian made an absolutely gorgeous job of remodelling a gold band (my dad's wedding band) together with some emeralds from my Nana's engagement ring, into a beautiful and unique ring, which fits perfectly with my wedding ring. Iain helped to rectify some issues with my engagement ring after I put my trust in the wrong local jeweller! When I initially had it resized it didn’t fit, so after managing for nearly a year I decided to get it sorted. Iain had been recommended by some friends locally and I’m so glad I went! He really took the time to explain the issues with the ring, showing me close up so I could see what he was referring to. He actually helped me deciding on size rather than leaving me to it, and was so transparent about how long it would take. He’s so knowledgeable you couldn’t not trust him! It's an absolute dream to finally be able to wear the rings Iain designed and made for us years ago, originally for our 2020 wedding! Absolutely over the moon with my gorgeous engagement ring remodel! Thank you IHD! Unfortunately I had nothing but trouble with my original ring. My shank was bent and very thin after being incorrectly resized twice, the diamonds on my shoulders were very exposed due to how thin the metal was, meaning my diamonds were at great risk of falling out. Keeping the design the same, Iain and the team re-made my beautiful engagement ring, making sure all my diamonds were protected correctly and also made the design wed-fit which my previous ring wasn't. This means I can now have my wedding sit beautifully next to my engagement ring with no gaps! I'm so proud to be wearing an Iain Henderson Designs ring! 😍

Buying an engagement ring can be daunting but Iain was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Iain was so helpful in advising me which engagement ring I should pick and did not try upsell unnecessarily. Iain provided a professional service and communicated promptly and efficiently. I had an old victoria eternity ring that had been cut off when I broke my hand and didn't know what to do...that's were the story started. Thankfully Iain was recommended to me and I went along for a chat. Iain worked with me to come up with an enhanced design, deciding in the end to use new diamonds as more in keeping with the design. The result far exceeded my expectations and it makes me smile every time I wear it. Still what to do with vintage diamonds plus a diamond tennis bracelet that had a broken clasp...Iain and the team to the rescue again !!! Incorporating a garnet with great sentimental value, the team polished it and reset it alongside the vintage diamonds from my 'cut off' eternity ring into a beautiful new ring with real sentimental value. Bracelet now fixed and ready for another 20 years of wear! Iain and Asha have a fantastic level of customer service, keeping me informed all along the way right through to collecting the new rings. Even husband has now got in on the act when his wedding ring needed increasing in size which Iain did again managing to include one of my old diamonds which has made it even more special for my husband.

My fianceé and I recently had the pleasure of working with Iain and his team on the most beautiful wedding bands and engagement ring we had ever seen (I proposed with a diamond; my partner designed the engagement ring). From the moment we walked into the studio, we knew we were in the right place! Iain was beyond helpful and accommodating when it came to creating our wedding bands and engagement ring. He listened to our ideas, gave his professional expertise and suggestions to craft three perfectly flawless rings. The quality of the gems used was extraordinary and the craftsmanship of the finished rings was even better than what we expected; and we expected perfection. We had an initial call with Iain before heading up to York for a holiday, and meeting him in person. The call was great and upon visiting he guided us through the selection and design process, making sure every detail was covered and making sure that we were happy. He was brilliant with our two year old who wanted to play, although we'd recommend visiting sans-children so that you can immerse yourself in Iain's work, process and guidance! His attention to detail and commitment to the craftsmanship was evident in the final pieces. We are beyond grateful and happy with the entire process. I can honestly say that Iain and his wonderful admin team (shoutout to the wonderful Donna and Asha who have been fab through all the emails back and forth!) exceeded our expectations with their bespoke engagement ring and wedding bands. Many thanks to Iain and the team for helping the dream come to reality with remodelling a ring no longer worn and stones from a vintage watch. Iain also resized my existing engagement and wedding rings after I’d not been able to wear them for 5 years. The whole experience was truly fantastic to initially meeting Iain at an event a number of years ago to visiting him at his studio. His time and patience on getting everything right was very much appreciated and now I have my rings back it’s lovely to be able to wear them again.

Posting on behalf of F L Taylor I was looking to update my diamond trilogy engagement ring which was a little old fashioned. I’d always loved the simplicity of the diamonds but wanted to create a more contemporary 21st century look to its setting.  Iain and I successfully navigated the entire process remotely as I live in London. He was extremely patient as I ruminated over different design options on our regular zoom calls and guided me through the process in a calm and friendly manner.  The end result exceeded  expectations - I’m delighted with the ring - the quality of the work is superb and it has been transformed! Really amazing team and fantastic service! Iain and his team designed my ring remotely taking me every step of the way and updating me at each point.
