Only a five minute free taxi drive away from the airport Woodpecker Resort is the perfect hotel for people who arrive late our departure early. The rooms are good, the food fantastic and the service and staff perfect. We had several great stays here during our trip trough Gambia and Senegal.

They are well located. Their staff are great. The food is delicious. The rooms are sizable and well taken care of too. They are great and thumbs up to the staff and entire management.

THE WORST SERVICE EVER!! DO NOT COME HERE, especially if you're a black American. Management was very rude, the place is filthy. There is a huge black ring around the pool. They have these ridiculous rules like if you renting a room, you aren't allowed to have any guests in your room, customer service is very poor. Very disrespectful and unprofessional staff. I would advise anyone visiting the Gambia not to come here!!!

You are welcome with the rules of the hotel before you can check in. When you go out and return, you are reminded of the rules. It's like you are paying for the rules. This is not a hotel. It's a boot camp. And the rooms are so tiny. The rules are bigger than the rooms.

I was so grateful to stay at the Korea House. Nice Kitchen very comfortable and spacious and room for the kids to play and watch TV. The air was also refreshing on the hot days, along with the pool. The staff was absolutely joyful and kind. I had access to the internet in the lobby which is very comfortable. The food was excellent too. I enjoyed my English breakfast. I can't wait to visit again.

Not the best of locations but close to airport if you need to stop over. Bar and restaurant were quiet the night I visited. The staff were very nice, friendly and spoke good English. Dinner ... The food was amazing! Chicken tandoori. Not like any chicken tandoori I have ever had before but it was so tasty and full of vegetables. Well cooked, well presented and to say the serving was large is an understatement! Couldn't eat it all.

I will not say it’s a best but somewhat 3.5 start I can give to it. All rooms are not so good but you can ask for alternate rooms then they will show you the good one. Hotel’s restaurant is good they can prepare a vegetarian food for you if can explain them well.

Hotel close to the airport. Max 5 min by car. The hotel offers free shuttle from and to the airport. Was good in our case. I would use the hotel only if you have a late or early flight. The stuff was friendly. The room was very basic but clean. The room had Air condition but usage during the night was impossible because of the terrible loud sound it does. There is Free WiFi available, but it works only sometimes and really slow. The breakfast was below average.( extra charge)

Good and clean place, calm and cosy. Not far from airport. The food is not bad and the staff members are very kind. For sure, I will return there even if the shuttle is horrible.

So just yesterday night i checkedin I got my booking resevation confirmed by my agent While checking in the receptionist made me wait for 30 min just so she can be sure of payment Moreover even after getting confirmation my passport was seized upon asking she said until they get payment confirmation they can not give mu passport Moreover i entered the room Full of fungus and cockrochs No charging ports at bed side No food allowed All charging sockets are very old makes fire while keeping my laptop on charge One of the terryfing travel experiance i must say I give not even 1 star to this hotel

Its located near the airport, the room was normal/good. But why does a hotel near an airport not accept Visa, Mastercard or Euros in Cash.

A good quality hotel, very reasonably priced and usefully situated close to Yundum airport for late arrival or early departure. Fantastic helpful staff who were immensely helpful to me in the short-lived Gambian political crisis. I look forward to going back again.

Very friendly staff, room clean, bed comfortable, plumbing questionable. This is a very basic hotel 5 minutes from the airport but approximately 25 minutes by taxi to the beach and other tourist attractions but you can easily spend a lazy day here by the pool. Oh and I would give the breakfast a miss.

One of the best hotels in the Gambia. The staff are orderly and friendly with topnotch service.

It was 04:30am. But it was nice. Friendly people. Good food and service. The airport is near and the highway is some meters away. I made a lot off friends. I'll be back. Simple nice and causy.😃🤣🤣🥳

Comfortable n super cool staffs

No wake-up call, and no taxi as arranged when I needed to get an early morning flight. Thankfully I only had a carry on & was able to walk to the airport.

You guys should work on your customer service. The waiters/waitresses needs to be trained and well supervised by an individual that has sound knowledge of Hospitality.
