I absolutely love this place! Every visit always exceeds my expectations ❤ My friend and I attended here for the Festive Afternoon Tea! The food was amazing and the range of flavoured loose leaf teas was incredible! Well worth every penny! I would happily recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Thank you Oh Me Oh My, perfection as always xx

From our experience at this bar on a warm sunny Saturday evening, this rooftop venue deserves zero stars, however given the stunning view and the fact that Google does not allow a zero star rating, I've given it a one. I will justify this given the extreme rating. Firstly, upon getting our first beverage, the bartender was extremely rude. From the lack of enthusiasm combined with the tone of her voice and body language, it was clear she had minimal interest in serving customers. This took us by surprise as this was a roof top venue in city centre as bars such as these have high standards not only for their guests but staff as well. We gave her the benefit of the doubt as staff can have "bad days" and didn't want to be too critical of this first experience. However we noted that staff amongst themselves were having a lot of banter and it was only when serving customers the mood became somber. Secondly, the drinks we were served were warm, each containing 2 small cubes of ice which dissolved by the time we reach our seats. Mind you this weekend the temperatures were in excess of 30 degrees centigrade. The quality of these beverages were similar to those I use to experience during university nights out. Thirdly, one of the glasses was so dirty to the point that you could see someone else's lipstick on it (see attached picture). Lastly and this had to have been the worst bit of the evening. A private event had been booked from 19:30 onwards. This is completely fine and we would've been more than happy to leave the venue if this was relayed to us in a timely manner allowing us to consume our beverages without rushing. However, 2 minutes to the time the private event was to begin, the bartender approached our table and said "Excuse me, but you have to leave." And walked off without any explanation. We felt like we had done something wrong to be spoken to like this. We felt ashamed. It was only when one of the waitresses had come a few minutes later and explained what was happening that we understood we weren't being thrown out. Manners, good communication skills and respect go a long way in the hospitality industry. I hope that this was an "off" day and the staff of this establishment do not treat other customers like this in the future.

So we have visited on 25/08 with prebook Afternoon Te with 1 Gluten Free option. The place was lovely which we knew as we have been there before and we really like it. However on this visit things were not so good. My fiancé quite enjoyed his food but mine GF was a let down. The scone were still raw inside ( I didn’t say anything tot he waitress as I didn’t really wanted to ruin our date ) the sour scone tasted exactly same as the sweet one. Both texture were just wrong. You could taste the dough was made in rush and not mix well. What a disappointment!! There ... I got to the top plate where all the cake were. I must say ... the best and delicious was the macaroon ( tho I could not taste any pistachio) unfortunately the rest were not so lovely. I have packed some of the cakes home as I got so full I could not eat anymore there. As I unpacked the rest of sweets at home and took a bite of the shortbread I was waiting so long for the saddest thing happened. The shortbread was absolutely unbeatable. It was or old or waaaaay too much flour or xanthan gum .... It was my favorite place for afternoon tea ... now I have to find a new one 😶

Beautiful day and view which added to the roof top experience. Sandwiches and cakes were delicious though the bread was a little dry on the outside but putting that down to very hot weather. Service was very good considering few staff and rushed off their feet. Also lovely choice of tea varieties

Oh Me Oh My, we went for afternoon tea for my wife's 40th birthday. The staff right from the start wad so helpful from opening the back disabled door so my wife could go in. The staff was very friendly and explained all the teas and the flavours/ingredients. When they found out it was her birthday they got her a little cake with sparklers in it to celebrate. The food was amazing, the place was very clean and very spacious. Thanks to all the staff for making our experience there so nice.

The nicest afternoon tea I’ve ever had! The savoury options were just as good as the sweets, and the setting was just as beautiful as the food! The service was lovely and to top it off, unlimited tea and hot chocolate. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.

I booked her for my mums birthday, on arrival we were told our table wasnt ready so had to wait around 10 minutes to be seated. Once seated we were left around another 10/15 minutes before we were asked what tea we would like, after about another 20 plus minutes so 40 minutes in total since being seated, our tea and finally our food arrived, we had sandwiches short, we were never approched again until after about another half hour, we asked someone if we could order some more tea (supposed to be unlimted) yet on our bill they had charged us for 4 extra teas because they said we had finished, even tho we still had cakes on our table and hadnt moved! Unlimted tea, means unlimited tea! Really poor guality service, i truly will not return and wouldnt recommend to anyone

Honestly this place is absolutely beautiful. You're well looked after and the staff are lovely. Me and my girlfriend kept saying to each other how perfect everything was, the food is to die for, and the selection of teas are gorgeous! I couldnt recommend this place enough. Such a lovely experience

Attended for a wedding. Cant recommend it so much. The staff were attentive and diligent and the whole day was incredible. The bride and groom asked for a vegan menu and the food was delicious from start to finish.

Went to OH ME OH MY for afternoon tea for a friends baby shower. Service was very very slow, we were only able to order 2 drinks in the 3 and a half hours we were there. When ordering tea we had to wait 20 minutes before getting milk. Food was okay but overall experience wasn't very good

Went here for a wedding reception... Nice venue with a nice roof top garden which offer great photos... Drinks were competitively priced. staff were great, those behind the bar worked their socks off.. would have given 5 stars but they need air conditioning, it was stifling on the night I visited and due to noise levels they are not allowed to keep the doors open after 9pm ( which I can understand... so invest in air con/ceiling fans) Would recommend...

I can't recommend this place highly enough! We came here for the festive afternoon tea and the service was impeccable from start to finish! We were talked through the tea options and were able to try multiple types while we ate (the tea is unlimited with the afternoon tea). The afternoon tea itself was delicious! There was so much to eat! Highlights were the pigs in blankets and the bailey's creme brulee. In fact, we had to take the remaining cakes away in a box we were so full! I'd love to go back again!

Wow we’re do we start, what a fantastic wedding day we had at oh me oh my. We were originally planned to have our wedding on the 15th August 2020, due to covid it had to be postponed. Danielle worked with us to move the date to the following year as close to our previous chosen date. We can’t thank you Danielle enough for all her support and great planning for our special day in the uncertain time of covid. We had our amazing day on the 14th August 2021 with all covid restrictions lifted it was a true blessing. Highly recommend the sharing platters for food You will get to have an evening of food tasting and you won’t be disappointed with the high quality of the food and the portions. Our day started wit drinks on arrival which was timed perfect for our guest. Followed by our meal we had the sharing platter Greek mezze and the ploughman’s lunch which was delicious all our guests commented. Followed by the morrocan lamb and belly pork and apple compote. Vegetables and dripping potatoes both absolutely beautiful. Followed by desert new your cheesecake and pavlova Both yummy, by this point all our guest were completely full. We’re hired the roof terrace which is a must the views are phenomenal. Both Danielle and the staff worked effortlessly all day to make sure myself and Scott and our guest were looked after. The team were amazing and we can’t thank them enough for going above and beyond for our special day. It was a real wow moment when we walked into oh me oh my, the team dressed the venue perfect just how we imagined, along with our amazing florist your flower company. The team worked with our DJ and sax and let off confetti cannons to our favourite song which was timed perfectly. Danielle was amazing on the day with all the timings than ran smoothly can’t thank you enough for all your help. You truly our fabulous at your job. Any couples looking for the perfect venue then oh me oh my is the place xxx

I took my mum today (04/05/22) as a birthday treat and it was lovely - the food, the tea, the service, all of it. My mum was given a glass of champagne amd there were sparklers in the top rack puddings. Absolutely spot on, everyone should go and have a treat.

We got there around 12 just because of their famous terrace and we were told to come later as it was closed for no reason. A waste of time in our trip plan, I would rather call before if you want to get to the terrace!

Amazing afternoon tea, a variety of various sandwiches and cakes that we actually couldn't finish but got offered a carryout then onto the rooftop for drinks in the sun, fabulous setting.

What an absolutely fantastic place this is. My favourite afternoon tea in ages, and our host was wonderful. One of our party is pregnant and they took time to go through the menu and offer alternate options with zero fuss. Lovely. The tea selection was from Leaf (assuming they're owned by the same company maybe?), And the cakes were from heaven 😁

My Daughters wedding reception venue a few dags ago , what a fabulous place, big enough for a wedding but not so big that you miss seeing anyone, just right. Staff were the best, polite efficient and very good at what they do. As for the food it was fantastic, the bar prices were lower than I expected and plenty of bar staff on hand. The roof top bar was amazing, as the sun set and the surrounding buildings were lit everyone took photos. For a private function I can highly recommend Oh me oh my

The place was really nice, been before for wedding party. This was afternoon tea as a birthday treat. Food was really great and plenty of it. Service was poor as I had to look for a highchair for baby it was tucked behind stairs, I couldn't get it, so someone finally came and got it for me. Had a great experience with teas as the different varieties were explained very well. Getting the bill was a bit slow, then it arrived twice as we were trying to pay the first one. Apart from that we had a great time, definitely recommend especially for afternoon tea.

Absolutely stunning food. Brilliant service and exceptional views from the rooftop bar. 10/10 from me. Definitely going back with my daughters.

On the rooftop the venue was tacky and scruffy as well as the staff. No service, expensive and a lot of drinks ‘unavailable’. Glass was mucky covered in lipstick and refused a refund or even a new drink/glass. Toilets stank and upkeep/ cleanliness was bad, I would definitely go to a different bar in Liverpool.

Came here for an afternoon tea & was really impressed overall, compared to other high end places in Liverpool city this one is priced & has great quality food in it. My only complaint is that everything took too long, we waited 45 minutes for the sandwiches and cakes to be brought out and any hot drink we ordered took at least 15 minutes. The staff serving were fantastic and very helpful, but I do think there needs to be more making the drinks.

  • 5/5 Kez F. 6 months ago on Google
Wow - delectable sandwiches 🥪 and cakes with a lit sparkler 🧨. We had the English breakfast tea which was tasty and not too herbal tasting even though it was a special blend ☕️ The best mini Dane jug was the chicken pesto bacon one 🤤We went on a Thursday at lunchtime - it was very quiet but beautifully lit snd had candles (Christmas music was playing in late October but it was jazzy and gave atmosphere). Feedback - the disabled loo hand dryer wasn’t working and the bin which was a foot pedal also didn’t work. This may be a problem for disabled customers.

I bought vouchers at Christmas for Liverpool and was very excited to go with my 2 daughters. Unfortunately it was very disappointing. We were put on a tiny table for 2 even though everyone else who came in 3's had a good size table. We had a gluten free option so you need big table as you get a 2nd cake stand. Next there was a real problem with the smell in the toilets which was coming through directly to where we were sitting. We were not impressed with the sandwiches. The desserts were nice but far too much sweet to savory. 2 big scones were a bit too much. Maybe only 1 needed. The tea's were great though and so were the servers. Beautiful place it's a shame. I would not recommend and would not go again sadly I was very disappointed.

We had our wedding reception at Oh Me Oh My in late April 2019 and were impressed with the whole experience. The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for in terms of atmosphere, scenery and overall experience. Danielle was our coordinator and was nothing but helpful in the run up to the wedding; we had no idea what we were doing most of the time, and she patiently guided us through. We attended one of the tasting evenings and despite being so impressed with the venue itself the food served at the tasting could have been better. We were apprehensive about this but proceeded with our booking as we loved the venue so much. Despite our concern the food on the day was delicious and all our guests commented on the quality and quantity on offer. We went for the afternoon tea option and it was amazing; we couldn’t believe how much food there was! We had booked the roof terrace but unfortunately due to Storm Hannah, our guests were unable to make use of it for safety reasons. However, we were allowed up temporarily with our photographer to get some epic moody shots with the Liver building in the background – it’s a must! We chose to do our own decoration and delivered everything the day before. The team at Oh Me Oh My dressed the venue for us and we had so many people commenting on how amazing the space looked. It was really nice to arrive on the day and instantly feel like everything was under control, even when things were running late (due to a hilarious mix up with our wedding bus). The team did a fantastic job and the space looked exactly how we had imagined. The venue played a huge part in the success of our day and the amount of our guests who are still talking about your venue is testament to that. You made our wedding day such a happy, memorable occasion for us and we can’t thank you enough. We would like to wish the team every success for the future.

Went in for afternoon tea with some friends and it was glorious. The staff were just lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. They were very knowledgeable about the variety of specialty teas on the menu and recommended some for our tastes. The scones were warm, homemade and delicious as were all the cakes and sandwiches on the platter. Just a lovely afternoon. They also have a roof terrace in the warmer months which I’d love to come back and see.

The venue is stunning looking on the inside - high moulded ceilings and lights draped everywhere. OMOM adapted everything to keep us safe, and the food was actually quite outstanding. I recommend the 'Brandy Alexander' cocktail (cognac, cacao brown and cream) - it was the only one I had but it was dessert in a glass. Also, that roof terrace! Really amazing views of docks and Liver building. Thank you OMOM - you were completely invaluable in helping my sister have a wonderful (covid safe) wedding even if it wasn't in perfect circumstaces I will visit again when next in Liverpool

Visited this chic venue today for Afternoon Tea with my husband. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with kindness, smiles and impeccable service. The staff were wonderful, guiding us through the many teas on offer, telling us a little about each one. We opted for one of the Wellness variety and were not disappointed. The selection of sandwiches and cakes on offer were delicious and though we couldn't sample everything on offer as our stomachs were overloaded we can honestly say our taste buds were subjected to a gastronomical delight! We will most definitely return and would highly recommend this establishment. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.
