We were lucky enough to enjoy a relaxing two night stay for my birthday with our 3 children. By the end of our trip they didn't want to leave! It's a very child friendly resort with plenty of space and activities to keep them happy! There's a playground, beautiful tree swing, garden, tennis court, pool and opportunities to feed the farm animals. There's a calm, serene and cozy atmosphere to the whole property. The main dining and lounge area is luxurious and extremely comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and the food was great. Thank you Spicers Hidden Vale for having us! We hope to visit again soon!

We had a fabulous stay in one of the two-bedroom cottages with our young children and loved being so close to the pool and spa. And what a view from the deck with a glass of wine! The Spicers team went above and beyond to ensure we were all having a wonderful time! Can't wait till our next visit :)

This getaway with my partner stands out as one of the finest we've experienced. The location and vistas were truly breathtaking, and both the restaurant and accommodations were nothing short of extraordinary. However, it was the staff that truly elevated our experience to something exceptional. A perfect 10 out of 10. We're eagerly anticipating our next visit.

One of the best getaways my partner and I have had. The location and views are amazing, the restaurant and accommodation is incredible but the staff are what made it so special. 10/10 can’t wait to come back.

There is an invisible wall it feels like we pass through that makes us instantly relax. The open space and gardens create an exceptional setting.

Wonderful place! Great garden, rooms and restaurant. Wonderful mountain biking. We took our late-teen children and parents in their late 80s. There was something for everyone. We went biking and my parents had an ATV ride. Then we all adored the amazing food at the end of the day.

We went to The Barn for lunch. Compared to the previous time we had been, this place has gone down hill in terms of quality. The food was average at best and not cheap - beef burger and chips served in a takeaway box for $25. I might as well go the pub or visit a food truck. No table service. Customers were expected to drop their order off to the chefs and wait for the name to be called. Food was slow to come out. A lot of people waiting. I had the vegetarian option and it was quite literally a burger bun with a fried mushroom, a single slice of tomato and piece of lettuce. No sauce or anything! Terribly disappointing. Honestly it doesn't live up to the Spicers brand. Won't be back.

The staff are amazing, the food was beautiful and the accomodation was perfect. Definitely recommend. Never have I had a bad experience here and the view from the restaurant is very unexpectedly wonderful.

Great place to visit anytime. But even better in winter as you can sit outside the barn style bar around the campfire. A real decent campfire too. Located a short drive out of Grandchester you won't believe the quality of the establishment.staff are very friendly which is refreshing but common also in country venues.

Spicers Hidden Vale is a beautiful and peaceful retreat. We had a truly lovely stay made entirely stress-free by the welcoming and attentive staff at the resort as well as Homage restaurant. Would definitely recommend for a quiet getaway + fantastic dining experience!

Very relaxing short stay surrounded by natural beauty of the Locker Valley, sensational food and comfortable accommodation. Lots to do if you want but also a great spot to just slow down and recharge your batteries.

We went to the restaurant for a 50th birthday lunch with a small group of friends and had the loveliest time. The staff were great. Very friendly, very professional and the food was amazing. Yes it was a little pricey but you get what you paid for. Beautiful wines, beautiful atmosphere. We had a little stroll around the ground afterwards and everything looked wonderful. We will definitely go back there for a special meal.

I'm not quite sure where to begin with the review. Is it the setting? The picturesque oil-painting landscape that only inspires. Is it the staff? The most welcoming, professional and wonderful people. Please make sure to say hello to Darlia at the front reception. A wonderful welcome which is the beginning of a equally wonderful stay. Do I start with the food? Oh-my-gosh. The most beautiful 3 course meal washed down with the most amazing Qld Shiraz (there are 180 wines to choose from!). If you need time decouple from the world, need to write a book, spend time with a close love one, or just need to reconnect with what it means to call Australia home then make a reservation. I promise, you will not be disappointed. Returning to do Christmas here with my family. Thank you Spicers, the staff, the kitchen, the grounds keepers...you all do a marvellous job.

Such a great placem.beautiful setting..so peaceful and quiet . Food and service was just great. Rooms are pretty cool too. Highly recommend this place if you want to get away from the noise and the rat race of the city I'd live there permanently if I could.

Really liked my weekend here. It's the sort of place you could go with an intergenerational group. Rooms are comfortable with excellent views. Sufficient E-charge bays too. The staff really make this place. They seemed to enjoy their jobs, the wait staff, housekeeping and even the chefs! Talking of food, the food was excellent overall, although it's not a very extensive menu and after a few days you might find it repetitive. We had several outstanding meals. Kangaroo tartare Yum!! Only one annoyance was when I ordered Sunday lunch from the Barn and it was cool. Nobody likes cold soggy chips!

We couldn't recommend Spicers Hidden Vale more highly. We have an excellent experience and will definitely be returning. Often when staying in luxury accommodation the expectation of premium customer service isn't always met. This was exceeded by the entire team at Spicers Hidden Vale and why we enjoyed our stay so much. The property, the rooms, the food, the drinks and the experiences were outstanding. The staff were so attentive, caring and like a family themselves which was really felt but as as guests of the hotel. Thank you to Jake, Adam, Josh, Ross, Caitlin, Sebastian, Lena and Myriam for looking after us so well and for making this a memorable experience.

We just had dinner. Chefs selection was a great and easy way to have dinner. Tina our host, made the night very enjoyable. Easy pace for dinner and the wine add on was worth the experience. Fire place was a nice way to end the meal enjoying a couple extra drinks.
