Giving one star purely to write the review. I am genuinely surprised to see the amount of positive reviews given my experience. One year on I am still feeling pain, numbness and having recurrent infections from my wisdom teeth removal with wisdom teeth clinics. I reached out to them several times and was told to "take vitamin b" for the nerve damage and that I would only be offered a telephone consultation to follow up - otherwise to go to my dentist. My dentist referred me to a maxillofacial specialist at huge cost. Small bits of tooth/bone were stuck in my gum after surgery causing infection. Unless you have a VERY straightforward removal or surgery please consider going elsewhere.

I’m so happy with how this went. I had an impacted wisdom tooth that I had put off getting removed for years out to fear. The tooth was sideways and needed to be removed in hospital. Eventually it broke and I had to get it removed. I cannot believe how easy the process was. I had an X-ray referral emailed to me within hours of enquiring online. After I had the X-ray which was bulk billed I booked a free consultation with Dr Tan which was done over the phone. The phone consultation was really convenient for me as it did not impact my work. After the consultation I was sent a list of dates that were available for day surgery. I was able to consult with my workplace with the list of dates before booking. I expected the recovery would be awful and even traumatic but I feel really well the following day. Dr Tans fees were reasonable and I am happy with the overall cost. I could not be happier with this experience.

Dr Stephanie Tan was nothing short of exceptional. Initially, I had been shopping around being quoted $180 for a consultation (that I couldn’t get into for over a month) and $800 for one wisdom tooth removed. Prices varied from $600-$800. After enquiring through Wisdom Teeth Clinics the consultation was free, just a few weeks away and one tooth removed was $395. Although dentists don’t scare me on a standard basis, my case was different where the tooth was sitting right on a nerve. Also, you’re told many horrible stories about wisdom tooth removal. Dr Tan was knowledgeable, comforting and advised I would be out in 40 minutes, the procedure was over within 10 minutes. From hearing many stories from friends and family about their experiences, one advised they were given headphones to block out the uncomfortable noises. The only piece of advice to go even more above and beyond (which really, I was fine without it but maybe for someone with a real dental phobia) is noise cancellation headphones. Thank you again!!!!

DR S. Tan was informative throught the entire process (tele-consult, admin papers, procedure and also after-care) $1290 for 4 teeth extractions; $1090 to the Hospital; $150 orthopantomography (externally retrieved); & $800 anesthesiologist So $3,330 all up.

Dr Tan and her excellent team extracted one 48 year old wisdom tooth considered risky and difficult to undertake due to size, depth and nerve proximity. Prior concerns over extricating some fragments of the deeper roots of the tooth were allayed post surgery which instilled further confidence. As of 2 days post-procedure there seems to be no attendant nerve damage, numbness of tongue or much swelling further attesting to the skill of Dr Tan and all involved. Communication before and after helped immensely with any anxiety or worries. Thankyou so much! tldr, HIGHLY RECOMMEND A+++

Recently came to discover I had a completely horizontal impacted wisdom tooth that was urgently wanting to be removed. After a scan, my first dentist told me it was complicated and I would need to see a specialist surgeon for surgery. I did some phoning around and found the Wisdom Tooth Clinic Brisbane. I had a phone consult with Dr Tan, who informed me that I had an option of surgery or it could be removed in the chair for $395. Due to finances, I opted for the chair and I had a booking within 7 days of my consult. I travelled 1.5hrs for the appt. The procedure took under 15 minutes. The experience was a remarkably fast and a pain-free procedure, just strong pressure was felt. I received 3 stitches, scripts for pain medication/antibiotics if required (I needed neither) and I received a followup email from Dr Tan checking on my status on 2 day post-removal. 1 week post-surgery and I felt like new again. You can trust if you make a booking with Dr Tan, you'll receive excellent professional dentistry care. If you need to have wisdom teeth removed and are searching for options, you'll be in very safe hands here.

Would definitely recommend. Was booked in for an over the phone consultation and then removal very fast. Had all four wisdom teeth removed. My surgery went really well and I recovered perfectly! Good customer service too.

Overall, I had a fantastic experience using this company. They made the whole process so quick and easy. As soon as I registered, Dr Stephanie Tan called me for a free consultation and I was able to schedule the surgery fairly quickly as they were very prompt with sending emails etc. The staff at Samford Road hospital were great and Dr Tan was also fabulous. The procedure was half the price of the surgeon I was originally referred to.

Dr Tan made the whole process very easy which was greatly appreciated as I had to travel for the surgery. Procedure itself was quick and recovery is good so far. Team at the day surgery was professional as well. Received a follow up call from both Dr Tan and day surgery staff. Excellent care at an affordable price.

Had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed at this clinic about a month ago and I couldn't recommend them enough! One of my bottom teeth was causing me trouble as it was quite impacted, so I searched online for a clinic and came across this one due to it's outstanding reviews. Within a day I was able to book a free consult over the phone with the doctor, after which they sent me a list of available dates - the closest one being just about a week away! The price breakdown, communication and booking process were all super clear. The day of the surgery I felt very well taken care of even though I was fairly nervous. From the receptionist to the admitting nurse, from the anaesthetist to the surgeon, everyone was so lovely. And it was over faster than I expected! Recovery was also very smooth considering I had 4 teeth removed. Dr Tan checked up on me the day after and was super responsive to any questions and concerns I had later on as well! 10/10 recommend if you need this procedure done in or near Brisbane!

It was a great experience with this great clinic and Dr. Tan. It was SO easy and I felt incredibly looked after throughout the process. I also can't believe that the consultation before my surgery was FREE while some oral surgeon might charge $150 for explaining about the X-ray. I also felt that the healing process was quick; not sure if it was because of my own body or because Dr. Tan and the team did a fabulous job. Dr. Tan is very patient and caring; and I appreciate SO much that she is responsive to my questions and willing to take out of her time to provide advice. Removing wisdom teeth can be stressful and it has been disturbing for the last 10 years! However, Dr Tan has made the whole process stress-free and painless for me. Voluntarily leaving a review because I'm really happy with the service I received. I had three wisdom teeth removed by Dr Tan. One was quite impacted and as such the recovery took longer than I was hoping for. I had concerns about how it was healing and I saw Dr Tan for a follow up and she put me at ease. I still had concerns several days after so I called Dr Tan to check it was okay. I was worried she'd think I was becoming a nuisance but each time I spoke to her she was attentive and calmly gave me assurance that my wounds were healing fine but if I was still concerned after several days I could call back any time. I really appreciated the personal service. And yep, I healed just fine in the end without any complications.

These guys are great. Like absolutely amazing. Seamless booking process, was kept well informed and super up-to-date every step of the way. I went to the clinic at Samford Road Day Hospital, and god these guys were amazing. I was treated to an all-female staff, which I know would be a big selling point for some people. They checked every step of the way anything I was nervous about and had perfect solutions for everything. The recovery was amazing too, which is a testament to how good of a job these guys did. Honestly, I couldn't recommend this crew more. If you need your wisdom teeth out, this is where to do it.
