This is a difficult place to review.... Their fried rice and noodle salads are to die for. The food is really delicious and has me thinking about when I will be able to eat their food again soon. However, the wait times on food are unreasonably long. I waited 40 minutes for the best fried rice I have ever had. Went back a couple of days later and experienced the same yummy food after a similar wait time. Both experiences were during low volume times. Please Mr Do, serve your food in a timely manner so that I can I enjoy it without the frustration of the long waits. Seriously... the best chicken fried rice I have ever had.

Really disappointing. Got bahn mi and dim sims. The dim sims are really bad. Bought 4 and not even one got finished. Bland pasty filling and doughy undercooked pastry. I'm sure they're straight from a packet. The bahn mi tasted "ok" but there were a total of 5 tiny, chewy pork belly of the stale break roll. It wasn't terrible but I can confidently say it was the worst bahn mi I have had. Definitely avoid this place. They are priced as if they can cook, but they can't.

If you're reading the reviews before going here, I definitely wouldn't recommend it. The vermicelli salad had no sauce, just coarsely shredded vegetables. Fried rice is also not seasoned at all, and is stir-fried rice with Coles frozen veggies. They reused 2 leftovers out of 4 spring rolls and don't even reheat them. This is the worst Vietnamese restaurant I have ever experienced.

I thought I’d grab some Vietnamese for lunch, feeling like a rice, chicken and salad bowl. I ordered and was asked if I wanted the fried rice, I said “no thanks, the steamed rice and salad” however I was given the fried rice anyway. There was nothing wrong with the flavour it was just not what I felt like or ordered. I also got the wontons, these were terrible with just falling apart fried pastry and some with the meat even fallen out of it. They were extremely busy for a lunchtime Monday. It seems the Uber eats orders took precedence to the ones dining in. The flavour was nice but I’ll probably not visit again.

We dropped by for some Banh Mis and ordered the chicken and an omelette Banh Mi. This was last Sunday 26/2/2023, we were order #043.They were busy so it took a while, but that's ok. The issue was when we received order, firstly the baguettes aren't that crispy....and then they also got the "omelette" wrong. It was fried egg with really runny yolk. Couldn't really take it back as my partner only realised when she took a bite. The chicken was OK but we've definitely had better Banh Mi elsewhere. I Was disappointed for my partner, as it was her first experience of the place. Then we did see the google reviews after, so I guess it's not surprising. The place could definitely improve, such as Pay attention to details of the order.

Paid for rare beef pho takeaway and when I got home there was no beef at all. No phone number to call and no way to get money back now. Very disappointing

Exactly what was expected as i have been to Mr Do's several times over the years... The food was good and the price was reasonable. I would have to say I expect/ed more to be stuffed into a Bahn Mi and today I ordered 2, both were the same and never filled from end to end just enough to keep you eating it so its the only down side. The service was, as usual, casual. It's quite loud and busy, but apart from that, I would say if you are in the Carindale area craving a bahn mi, this is definitely the place to go to.

The chef literally went on break and there was no one else that knows how to cook. NO ACKNOWLEDGMENT for the customers and when I asked how long it will be as I’ve been waiting 30 mins, they said the chef is now back and will make the food. 0 compensation. Terrible. Chef also looks like he hates his job. Would not return here

Such a nice alternative to all the fast food at Westfield. My kids and I get the pho and chicken fried rice weekly and it’s really delicious. My children are 1 and 3 and very fussy but they love eating here!

I normally forget about bad experience after sleeps but the customer service was horrible here and the food is under average. I was trying to reconfirm my order number and the guy didnt give a damn care of my attemps. As a Vietnamese and have tried most of vietnamese places in Brisbane, I dont feel the crunchiness in banh im and the core is tasteless.

I asked for Pork Belly, paid only to have them come back and say they made a mistake and if I want pork belly I need to pay the extra $2.75 (along with card surcharge). If it was my business I would have copped the mistake. The food is not as good as if it were pork belly.

I ordered 2 rice paper rolls, in which one had pineapple. I am allergic to pineapple. There is no signs stating the ingredient but as I’ve never had an issue with pineapple being in Vietnamese food, I thought it would be fine. When I realised halfway through my rice paper roll, I took it back and asked for a refund as it is going to make me sick, thankfully I’m not anaphylactic. The manager gave me $4.20 back, refused to refund me for the other because “he can no longer sell it to another customer”. I’m disgusted in the way this business managed my situation and I pray that nobody with dietary requirements attends this restaurant.

Take it out of the surcharges...... not even a serviette or should i say thin 1$ tissue given. Very bad service and mediocre food. I didn't ask for a side of attitude especially over a 20c plastic bag. Ridiculous. Will let my fellow employees in the centre know not to come here anymore. I've had better pork rolls in Inala.
